This was an excellent stay. I go to the Decatur area about three or four times a year for business and this was my first time using these facilities...great choice. It is a good location, the staff was helpful, and the hotel clean.

The staff was really courteous and helpful.
Location.
Situated in Huntsville, Candlewood Suites Hotel is close to Bridge Street Town Centre, Sci-Quest North Alabama Science Center, and US Space and Rocket Center. Also nearby are Huntsville Botanical Garden and University of Alabama-Huntsville.
Hotel Features.
High-speed (wired) Internet access is complimentary in public areas. Additional amenities include a fitness facility, multilingual staff, and gift shops/newsstands. Guest parking is complimentary.

"Excellent Service"
Guest service agent used my name four times while check in. Agent also pointed out various amenities in the hotel. Service standard is good enough for 4 diamond rating.

"Huntsville,Alabama"
I had a 2night stay and the accomodatios were you very nice and clean. I highly recommend staying there if you are in Huntsville. It was close to a very nice shopping center about 1/4 mile and good restaurants.

"The pros/cons of my stay"
Cons: Its a hotel that is in dire need of a makeover. Flooring is coming loose, carpets stink. I actually had to go out to local store and get de-odorizer as the stench was so bad. The elevator smelled so bad that I always to the stairs. Internet was very slow on the hotel, especially at night, obviously lot of people streaming movies. "Candlewood in Huntsville-close to mall, town"
Staff greeted and checked us out was very friendly (same lady). She invited us to movies, laundry, and told us where everything was located--very helpful to tired travelers!! Room was clean and comfortable. We had a great time

The hotel's location was terrific for shopping and entertainment in downtown Huntsville. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. "Excellent hotel offering great value"
We booked two rooms for an overnight stay in November 2009. We found both rooms to be in excellent condition,and noticed that the hotel was actively in the process of updating other rooms on property. The location was very convenient to the Space Center, many corporate offices, and the University Drive / mall area.

Good choice. Room was spacious and the bathroom was very well maintained and very roomy. Great amenities. I would look for this chain in other locations.

My only complaint is that there was not breakfast room. I simply did not know that before arriving. Otherwise, great.

Very nice. Clean oversize 2 room rooms. Quiet location. Everyone was nice and easy to deal with.
