Everyone there was Very friendly and helpful!! Great shuttle service to/from airport for no charge. Driver was a great guy who helped us plan our visit. Loved the happy hour at the bar. The front desk was very accommodating when we had a booking error, our fault. The hotel is dated and could use some updating but a good deal for the $

Great restaraunt for breakfast and dinner before you leave town. All was well but an overwhelming disinfectant or cover up spray in room was overwhelming. Nice room though so we aired it out.

Very nice staff ( like most all Ozzies). Very comfortable newly remodeled room. I had stayed here in the past, and we had a nickname of the "dungeon". No longer. The remodeled rooms are fantastic. Very good for an airport hotel.

Do not stay here. Yes the hotel was around the block from the airport but that is the only nice thing I can say about this hotel. Upon check in the desk staff for a credit card with is not anything new but he said it was for a deposit incase I was renting the room and throwing a party. The hotel is a bit off from the main road and is not easy to find without a GPS. Entrance to the hotel is also a little tricky, a sharp quick left turn. Limited internet access. No chest or drawer to stow clothings. Carpet needs cleaning badly. Bathroom is not disabled friendly despite hotel advertisement. Did not use the hotel's free airport shuttle service. This hotel offers free parking, which is a big plus. Car Park in Australia is a high price commodity. We checked in the night before our early flight. Room was quiet and clean. Convenient parking for our car while we were away at $7 a night, the shuttle was prompt on delivering and picking us up from the airport. Quite a few eateries along the stretch of road if you choose not to eat at the hotel. Will definitely use this hotel again.

This hotel is more like a motel with doors opening on to a balcony and with no lift to take your bags up. It would be good if you didn't have heavy luggage to carry up and down.

The hotel is close to the airport and the pool was welcome relief on a 40 degree Melbourne day BUT the room was so run down and security was questionable. I cannot recommend the hotel to anyone. Stay in the city and get up 20 mins earlier

This place hasn't been updated since the 70's other than some coats of paint (on the bathroom wall tiles no less) and carpeting. Vintage furniture (think vinyl dinette sets and bedside table with built-in dial radio) and decor abound perfect for a throwback party lounge if that is what you are looking for in hotel accommodations. The bed cover is clean […] but yellow with age. Actual sheets are fine, and bed is reasonably comfortable. The housekeeping staff does their best with what they have to work with as the rooms are very clean. Wall unit AC/heater does not work well. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful.
