Love it... this time the room was a bit older and darker... I was on the 21st floor and normally I am on floor 28 or 29. But still is my favorite hotel in BKK

I love this hotel and always stay here when I have business in Bangkok. The service, food, room, internet, beds, pillows... they all rate a 5. The location is good, close to some great street shopping and mall... Just in case you have time.

This hotel is going down the hill rapidly. Rooms (and bathroom) are dirty, carpet in rooms is disgusting (if you're allergic, don't even think about it) and the hotel in general is a bit worn out. The area is ok during the day, but at night it is surrounded by prostitutes, ladyboys and drugdealers. The hotel turns a blind eye on a few customers that […] hire prostitutes or escorts and bring them into the hotel. It's common to see public demonstration of "affection" in halls and elevators. Customer service is a joke - i bought a day tour at the hotel and, even though they charged me, the tour never happened. The Manager in Duty told me the hotel was not liable and that they "just rent the space for the agency who sells the tours". My check in only happened around 4 PM, even though i arrived there at 1:55 PM (check in is at 2PM). I was told they were having a "little" problem with the cleaning. They gave me a beer and told me to wait at the bar area. Never got back to me saying the room was ready... If you want to stay at the Sukhumvit area, try another hotel. There are more options like the Sheraton, Westin or the Marriot. Read more

Staff was hard working and always willing to please... Restaurants in the hotel were great and food choices were also plentiful and well chosen. Tour info and How-to-use the Skytrain info with a city map might have been helpful. We enjoyed the whole Bangkok experience.

The Landmark is a great hotel. Will stay again if the price is rigth. I say that because all the add-ons (breakfast,internet, ect) add up quickly and are costly. I had to return to Bangkok for an extra day and stayed at a competing hotel just as nice but everything was included. I would recommend the Landmark but just be aware of the extras costs.

From the moment we walked in to the final goodbye, this hotel was right on! The staff was so friendly and attentive. The room was perfect,big and clean. The food in the restaurants (Atrium and Cafe) were so delicious. Super close to the Nana station, which is close to the "red light district" however if your not looking for it...it just blends in with […] the crowd and it is not a big deal at all. There are some great places to grab a drink or eat. Just to give you an idea, I am 38 yrs old and I met up with my Mom for a few days to visit Bangkok. The hotel is about 2-3 minutes walk to Nana BTS station so it is in great location to transportation. You have free access to Fitness First (a real fitness gym) which is in the same building as the hotel so you will like that better than the small gyms that most hotels provided. Most of the front desk staff and main Thai concierge were great. If you like congee then you should try it at the hotel 24 hours restaurant called Green House. The bartenders at Huntman Pub (located in hotel basement) were very friendly as well. The down side is that there is no free wireless in the regular rooms. You can use wireless in the main lobby but you have to get userid/password (valid for 1 hour) from the front desk to use it. Read more

I bit tired of the staff, especially front desk looking at me like I'm a pennyless bum. Just because I'm not wearing a suit, and haven't shaved in awhile, doesn't mean I can't afford a mediocre breakfast buffet at the hotel.

I stayed here for two nights recently. Check-in was friendly, attentive and efficient. They made me feel like a valued guest, which was nice. Breakfast and complimentary afternoon cocktails on the 31st floor were nice, too, with great helpful service (helped me with a problem I was having with wi-fi). Concierge was helpful with walk-to restaurants which were excellent and moderately priced. The travel agent was wonderful when she personally called our tour guide back to the hotel when we realized we had overtipped him by 10 times! (He didn't have time to look before he left the hotel with 4 other guests to drop off, or we're sure he would have "reported" […] it.) We found even the "happy hour" prices for wine and beer to be extravagant. Although the wine was good, we found places within one block of the hotel which charged one-third of the price. Ive been traveling to Thailand for over 25 years and stayed at many older grand hotels to keep cost down. Landmark was an excellent newer hotel at the same price as some of the older. Great Gym included in cost. awesome newly updated rooms and good location in the middle of city. Would stay again!

This hotel is quite nice. Good bed and bedding, nice enough bathroom. There was a bit of an off smell in the room, but I'm sensitive to that. It's close to all the best shopping and right next to an MTS station, which is great. HOwever, it's alos close to one of the seedier areas in Bangkok, which means it also attracts the same type of people who are […] attending those establishments. I always stay at this hotel when in Bangkok. However, this time there was remodeling going on which was very unpleasant. My first room smelled like paint thinner, then they moved me to another room on the same floor which smelled fine, but had no hot water in the sink. By the time if figured this out I was too tired to complain again. Then at 8 am I […] was bombarded with noises of saws and hammers from the room they were working on RIGHT NEXT DOOR. The hotel knew they were remodeling the room right next door, why they put any guest in a room next to room they were remodeling I don't know. So again I call and complain and am moved for the 3rd time to a new room, but on a different floor. Then the hotel acted like they did me a favor. Pros: close to Skytrain (Nana station) about 1 minute walk. There are about 4-5 restaurants in the hotel, a pub and a bar. There are several ATMs and a currency change thing in the hotel. There are several bars and restaurants around the area. The hotel gives you 2 free water bottles every time they do the room cleaning if they see you need more and […] they do room cleaning 2x's a day. A lot of the staff is able to speak English and they are very helpful. Cons: there is a lot of old perverts with young Thai girls in this area but I guess that is probably how is going to be everywhere. When I mean young girls I mean like late teens - early twenties not children. Also when walking around men might get offered girls. It just happened once to my husband but we mostly walked around holding hands. Tip - they charge for internet service but you can go downstairs to the Huntman's pub and get wifi for free. I would suggest going to Gulliver's Travel Tavern across the street it is a cool pub place to hang out in. Read more

This hotel is in such a great location, very close to the Nana Sky train station and many restaurants that are in walking distance. The hotel appears to be more of a business hotel than tourist property so it was surprising that there was only free w-fi in the lobby and there wasn't much of a lobby. The bar in the lobby is rather pricey, service at […] the front desk and in the restaurants was professional but not friendly. Service is very slow, you are almost never checked on, but maybe that's a Thai thing. The bellmen were the friendliest and most helpful staff in the hotel. This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Landmark Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable with employees who could not be more helpful. We like the location because it is near the Sky Train which makes travelling easy in the city. The traffic in this city is unbelievable. The area also has many good restaurants. Night life […] is colorful and safe. The shop of my favorite tailor, Bobby at Rajah's Fashions, is just around the corner from the hotel. We love Bangkok and will certainly stay at the hotel again. The room was comfortable but not large. There was a lovely swimming pool and good exercise facility. The hotel is less than 2 min. walk from the public transport that takes you in the center of the city. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.

Check in was quick and friendly. On arrival luggage taken straight from the car to the room. Good number of elevators so you do not wait long to get to room or lobby. Very accomodating attitude of staff. I stayed twice in August, after the first stay I asked if I could leave my golf clubs with them until I came back 3 weeks later and they said it was […] fine. Only negative are their bar prices. When you can walk 100 metres and get a beer for 25%, why pay more. If you want a quiet bar ( even in Happy Hour ) then this is the palce to find it.
