Booked a late trip and everything was fine until 12 am - 3am. what the hotel forgot to mention was that 3 floors below our room there was a nightclub and we could hear and feel the base from our 6th floor room. When i called the front desk to complain they had no control over the music since the club was not affiliated with the hotel. All they can do […] is request to the club manager that they lower the volume which obviously never happened. they wouldnt even give us another room. to make it worse around 3 am a roudy group was screaming in the hallway which sounded like a bachloer party. i know not to expect much but for $350 a night and over $40 to park overnight i will not be staying here again and do not recommend it for anyone during a weekend stay. Nice hotel with great location. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was not included in the price. We stayed Thursday and Friday night on the sixth floor and didn't notice the nightclub on the ground floor. We had a great dinner at My Thai which is only a few blocks away.

I was disappointed that I booked the room through Hotels.com and there was descrepancies between the booking information and the actual hotel accomodations. i was assured that parking was included in th price quoted from Hotels.com and was very disappointed that that was not the case. Seems to be a little bit of a party hotel. Had to call to get a room change at 12:30am. Do to some loud guests in the next room. The location is fantastic. The rooms are very small but fine for a one night stay.

The place was alright, though I expected more. I've stayed at multiple Courtyard Marriots in multiple cities and have always been very pleased with their quality. This one location fell a bit short though. The hotel is obviously very old and not an original Marriot property. The room was clean but needed updating. I was also disappointed that the WiFi […] wasn't truly free unless you were a member of their frequent traveler program. The free AT&T connection was slower than the normal cellular service. I'll also agree with other commenters regarding the noise level. There is a night club on the ground floor of this hotel. I was on the 11th floor and was not affected, though I could hear the bass thumping as far as the 5th floor. It also made it somewhat inconvenient to visit the lobby while people are lining up to get into the club. Still, the location was great (very convenient to the green line). All in all, a good hotel. Everything was good to very good- comfort of bed, cleanliness (excellent), exercise room, electronics- internet and TV and service. I did not try the breakfast since there were numerous options in walking distance offering a much better value. Pleasantly surprised after reading some notices on the hotel. In our experience the hotel was clean, comfortable and a bargain. Staff was friendly. Wonderfully convenient if you are attending a concert across the street. Only problem was confusing google directions from the Mass Pike.

Perfect location for the $. I read previous reviews that complained about noise & how small the rooms are but I did not find either of these an issue. The staff were very friendly & accommodating. The only downfall is there isnt much of a city view from the rooms. I will be booking a room here again very soon.

I can get over the fact that they hotel itself is very old and thus the rooms are small and outdated. What I struggled with was the thin, small towels and the half used bottles of shampoo and lotion. The lotion bottle had gunk on it from the last person who used it. I own dish towels that are better quality than the bath towels they provided. Comfortable bed, clean room, but the we were woken up by the housekeeping staff 3 times the next morning and check out wasn't even until noon! It was annoying to have to keep answering the door and telling them we were STILL in the room and not leaving until noon.

Pleasse note that we appreciated the staff. They welcomed us very warmly. Our room, however, looked over a roof. The first night we had a couple next door at 2:00 A.M. screaming at each other. We would have liked a pool, but did use your exercise facility. Location was great!

Everything was nice down to the free coffee in the lobby. The two negatives are the narrow rooms so that the TV mounted on the wall over the desk did not move so you had to be on one side of the room to get a good view. Also there was a shower curtain -- it did work fine though.

We travel often and sty at many Marriott thru the country. Ths was the most disgusting, filthy, hotel we have ever been in. We would not even let our grandchildren to shower there. We got up early to leave ths disgusting place to go home and shower. Outside our room argument went on loudly for over an hour during the night. Never again.

This hotel is really noisy. There is a dance club on the 2nd floor of the hotel, so you will hear loud thumping bass noise until 2AM. I was there Wed & Thu, and the club was open both nights so I am guessing it is open all week. The first night I was on the 8th floor & it was obscenely loud, so they were able to move me to the 11th floor for my 2nd […] night. Somehow, even being 9 floors above the club my bed was literally shaking from the bass. I know this part of town is not quiet at all, but to have an actual club within the building takes this annoyance to another level. Check in and check out were great, the hotel was beautiful. The room was nice but tiny, which wouldn't have been too bad if the walls weren't paper thin. There was a large noisy group of people who spent the entire night in the hall outside our room talking and yelling and opening and slamming the door to the room. Typically, my experiences with Marriott Courtyard hotels are pleasant. The Courtyard by Marriott Boston Tremont Hotel, however, is not. It sports a decent nightly price for the neighborhood, but the room felt cramped and the amenities were underwhelming. Elevators were creaky and old with many buttons that didn't illuminate. King-sized bed was springy […] and uncomfortable. TV was clearly not mounted with a level (though we never used it). Barely any space to walk around the bed in the room. No in-room fridge either (minor gripe). Bathroom was poorly laid out with precious little shelf / counter space for toiletries. Shower head was about average, though I expected better. Overall, I expected better from a Courtyard Marriott. Would have guessed it was a lower-tier hotel based on the room quality. Read more
