the service was good-the parking was overpriced for non-garaged parking. A tree dropped sticky leaves all over my car that wouldn't come off even when I tried to wash them off. The location was great. the view was AWESOME. on the 11th floor overlooking the city & the river. The decor & hotel was dated. Definitely needs an updating soon.

We enjoyed our stay except we didn't find the customer service on the night shift friendly. Had issues getting a ride from the Casino as the Casino had the wrong phone number for Best Western. We tried to tell the desk clerk when we returned that night and suggest he made sure the phone number was listed right but he could have cared less. Overall decent stay. Location was perfect and we had a good view of the river. Many dinner options walkable. The cost of valet service seemed a bit much for a city the size of Toledo and it got chaotic around check out. We parked across the street in a garage for half the price. No free breakfast, gym was nice. Thought it was odd that the hotel hosted a boxing match. We returned from a wedding to a crowd of loud people leaving the hotel. The location was somewhat disappointing in terms of parking and walking, however the hotel itself was quite nice. The rooms were clean and the building was quiet. Though the service was not very helpful and was hard to find. Altogether, it was a good stay, but could have been much better.

They have no parking especially for handicapped and charge $16.00 a day if they park for you an then $18.00 for a movie and no restaurant. Manager said h would meet me at the lobby and never showed to resolve issue. Nothing around the area to eat which s nearby and the overall hotel was dirty and not to a standard I expect.. A convenient, clean hotel near the Seagate Center and world-famous Tony Packo's restaurant. Good shuttle service to downtown destinations. Nice buffet breakfast, albeit a little pricey. We were there for the hockey tournament and it turns out that 2 of the 4 teams were staying there as well. There was a problem with our reservation. The hotels.com confirmation number did not match the hotels. There was a long time-delay with checking in, due to the confusion. While there was an indoor pool, it was quite small and the water was cold. But, the hotel is in a very convenient location and one can walk to many things.

I wouldn't stay here again even if there was no cost. I understand that we checked in on Thanksgiving day, but there were only two people on duty for the entire hotel. They advertise shuttle to the casino, but we were stranded there for well over an hour. They should have indicated no shuttled service if no staff. They have NO parking and must pay for […] valet parking. If we did not want to pay we would have to park two blocks away in the public lot, yet the last night they parked our car in the public lot. We did not want to do valet parking since we arrived after 9 and wanted to save some money and time....the lot looked very crowded with cars waiting so we parked across the street in a parking garage. Not many cars there but had great access to the hotel. There was a convention of West swing Dance when we where there so made it interesting since every corner […] of the lobby space had people practicing for their dance routines. Very nice hotel. Great view of the river, within walking distance of everything downtown, Mud Hens, Walleye, etc. Only downside is they only have valet parking, no self park. Still the only place I stay in Toledo and do so a few times a year.

The room was simply uncomfortable. The thermostat did not work in the room so the temperature could not be adjusted. The shower head was loose and would not adjust to a fixed position. The condition of the room (especially the bathroom) needed painting, the furniture looked ragged, the bathoom needed caulking, the remote control batteries were low and […] would not work properly. The room simply had not been maintained and unfortunately I would not stay there again. I had stayed at this hotel a year previously when it was under different management and I enjoyed my stay, which is why I chose this hotel again. I will not stay at this hotel in the future. The hotel is outdated and a lot of little things like elevator button lights didn't work. The rooms were clean and served the purpose. The front desk was helpful and let us check in early which was nice. The valet was also quick and accommodating.

Toledo is not a bustling city and we really could have found a place a block away to park but we chose the convenience of valet parking for $16. Room was dirty.... Surfaces were dusty and floors were full of dustballs and hair. Coffee cups were not clean. Common areas of the hotel were also not well cared for and temperature was too cool.
