I was pleasantly suprised by the hotel after booking online and not being able to gather much info on it or the surrounding area since it was sort of last minute booking for NYE.the staff was very nice and got us checked into our room early, the hotel was nice and clean and the view off the backside where the golf course and canal is is very nice.even though it is right at the airport we weren't bother by the sound of planes at all when inside.my only complaint really would be the small parking deck which needs about 50-60 more spaces to be accomidating to the facility and the access to actually turn into the valet drop off or the self parking was a complete nightmare, maybe a little more so since there was construction right out front when we were there. we found plenty of food within a few miles of the hotel all of which was fantastic,do yourself a favor and go to latin cafe! we were able to drive down to miami beach south beach art deco district in about 10-15 minutes so it's not very far away at all and downtown/biscayne blvd area is even easier to get to which is the area our visit was concentrated around.

This hotel was well kept, very clean and furnished. The staff from the minute you walk acknowledged you and help you out with anything you needed. I recommend this hotel to anyone on a business trip, leisure, and anyone taking flight. Very close to airport. The only negative about the stay is that its not that easy to find and when I visited there was construction near the hotel so it was not too easy to get in and had to make a few turns back and forth.

This would be a great hotel if you were flying in and out of Miami. It is clean, comfortable, and quiet. The fitness room looked great, although I didn't have a chance to use it. For a family vacation, driving into Miami, we could have done better. $11/night to park is unreasonable. $19.95 for 24 hours of internet use seems ridiculous, since so many places offer it for free. There was no refrigerator in the room, and the room was kind of cramped for kids who want to play. The hotel was hard to find, winding through the industrial neighborhood around the airport, and the access into and out of the hotel was complicated by one-way roads and construction. There is no safe walkway from the parking garage to the hotel, which is hard with little kids.

The alarm clock design is beyond pathetic. The time was wrong nor can it be adjusted without removing the back cover. This requires having a phillips head screwdriver. No help from the front desk either. No working clock is pretty bad for a hotel. Also must have been near a truck depot. All night long sound of trucks backing up. Impossible to sleep.

This hotel was very conveniently located to Miami Int'l Airport. The room decor was nice and contemporary, and included a Herman Miller chair at the desk. The bed was very comfortable, and the in-room breakfast delivery service was right on time. There were only a couple of minor issues: the phones in the room either didn't work at all (cordless) or were had a lot of static (corded). The bathroom could have been cleaner (I saw a few stray hairs from previous guests on the floor-yuck). If you stay here, ask for a room on the golf course side-much nicer view.

This hotel is just minutes from the Airport. It has had a major facelift and is done very tastefully. However, you can see some of the problems of age. My AC temp could not be regulated, so I had to let it run, turn it off, etc. My room was very quiet and the staff is pleasant. It has a wonderful pool area that looks out on a canal and golf course. The downside is that there are no restaurants nearby, so I took the shuttle to the airport to get some affordable food. It is a good value if you need to be near the airport for one night.

I was picked up promptly and upon arrival to the hotel all information was already in computer system thanks to hotels.com customer service booking my reservations at the last minute when I landed in Miami. I walked into the hotel they handed me my key and that was it. Check out was wonderful as well -- all I had to do was turn in the key. This made my life so easy. The comfort of the room was excellent and the hotel also allowed me a late check out at no extra charge as I was leaving later in the day for London. We rested up at the Wyndham for a day after a four day cruise. Called ahead to ask if we could leave our extra luggage there for the duration of the cruise. No problem, they said. They didn't mention the $2 per bag per day storage rate that ended up costing $24 for three bags. They also charge the most we ever paid for internet access and charged us a bunch to park our car. The room itself had wonderful beds and matresses. The TV had only a handful of free commercial channels, but lots that you could PAY EXTRA for. Surprise, surprise! There was water dripping from a vent in the ceiling onto the floor. We called about this just before we were set to leave for the day and when we returned, we saw that the problem had been addressed. The members of the staff we encountered were extremely professional and helpful, even to the point of remembering our names.
