Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel

Quick check-in and given coupon for an excellent breakfast, the restaurant was very pleasing before starting a busy morning at the airport. Room was well kept but obviously aged a bit. Difficulty getting an available computer for printing boarding pass. I had extra heavy luggage and the driver of the shuttle was extremely helpful.

We arrived for a short stay at the MIA sheraton after a very long delay (AA flight of course). They were very accomodating and service was very rapid. Breakfast was included. The pancake and omelette station was very good. The shuttle from and to the airport was fast. Strongly recommended if you need a hotel very close to MIA (5min drive)

The complete hotel staff was very polite and helpful. Room was very cozy along with a very comfy bed. Breakfast buffet is decent. The bar has a very friendly atmosphere, good food, however the menu could use a few more items for a more selective choice. Rental car agencies are directly across the street. The service in general was very poor. The only time someone wanted to help was the guys moving luggage for a tip. The front desk people were unhelpful and one was rude. We received NO help printing luggage tags. We also received NO help when we were at a Publix store 3 miles away and couldn't get a cab back to the hotel. We called them over and over, […] and they would not send their shuttle to come get us, and said they didn't have 2 taxis, only 1 which could have come for half of us at least. They called taxis for us which never came. We would have walked back, if we didn't have 2 small kids and heavy groceries. After taking 2 buses to get back, and wasting 2 1/2 hours (waiting for taxis that never came and making calls to the hotel, waiting for buses), we were very upset. A very nice Sheraton property adjacent to Miami International Airport. The hotel is only about 5 minutes away from the airport via the complimentary shuttle. Despite its proximity to the airport, the rooms are well-insulated from sound. The rooms are spacious with adequate workspace, a very comfortable bed, flatscreen TV, free WiFi, and nice bathroom. […] There is a pool and workout room on site. The hotel is isolated in an industrial neighborhood, so guests are basically stuck on the property unless they use a taxi. The restaurants are good (excellent complimentary breakfast buffet), but are quite expensive ($25-40 per person). Even though this hotel is almost on the Miami runway it is difficult to get to if you are not familiar with the area. There are lots of new roads so check your map before you take off.

Nice hotel but fittings needed to be maintained. Very old switches on walls while the rest of the decor was ultra modern and chic. Unfortunately the light switches did not work and I had to feel around in the dark to find the lamp. Not near any eateries.

This hotel is the ideal place to stay for early MIA flights. The shuttle runs 24 hours per day, unlike the majority of the hotels near the airport. This is an aging hotel desperately in need of an upgrade or remodeling.The beds and pillows, however were comfy. No mirrors in bedroom area makes it tough for two persons to get ready. Mirror outside of bathroom is full length and has inadequate lighting. Location to airport is good.
