Hotel needs to be spruced up. Rooms are old and dingy. There was a huge black stain on bed comforter. Elevators were out of service for 24 hours (only two worked). Ice machines and beverage machines were out of service on many floors. Arrived late in the evening and was told that room service wasn't available (at 11:00 pm).

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to downtown Miami after we returned from a Caribbean vacation.We were way off, because downtown Miami does not have much to offer; it's Miami Beach or some other area that's better for shopping and sightseeing. We walked forever to find a decent coffee shop (we found The Daily). Another minor, but annoying […] issue is the position of the toilet in the bathroom. It's tightly against the tub and too far from the t.p. The air conditioner is very loud, so we kept it off. The hotel was clean and the hospitality avarge. What you would expect from a Hilton. The one THING that killed me was PARKING, only valet. If ya wanted SELF parking is $25 EVERYTIME you come back in/out. My car is Special to me due to mint maintenance and modifications, but my CLUTCH is NOT the same :( . We loved the hotel. We stayed on the 18th floor. And the kids loved the view. We visited the pool and it was great. Our room was nice and clean. The checkin process was great. Overall this hotel was wonderful and I'll stay here again if I had the chance.

Disappointed about my stay with this hotel. First, parking is not included in room price and guest parking is not explicitly separate from nonguest parking. To top it off, parking price is PER ENTRY, not per 24hr period. Layout of hotel floors and how it connects with garage is not straight forward. Mattress was not comfortable. No refrigerator in room. […] Breakfast not complimentary/included. No manager's reception either. Exercise room is eerily located within the guest floors and did not feel very safe (not well lit either). Receptionist's vibe was short and dry; did not give quick overview/directions of facilities hotel has. On positive notes, room did have a nice view of downtown Miami. We enjoyed our stay, however we roomed next to family who's baby woke me up every am because i could hear crying. Why would the hotel book a couples weekend next to family with a baby. Not much forethought there.

Overall a very average experience. Not what I've come to expect from Hilton hotels. Room was big and lobby and pool areas were nice. Tv reception was terrible. Almost unwatchable. Room was not cleaned 2 of the 6 days. Concierge very friendly but not as informed as most.

Very nice and attentive staff at the front desk, bar, and restaurant. Nice local grocery store, called Publix with very competitive prices, is right across the street. Rooms facing the bay have amazing view of Miami skyline, the bay, the port, and the bridges. Rooms are nice, but nothing fancy, just meet all basic needs. The hotel is located in downtown but is nowhere close to tourist locations so you need to pay a taxi to go everywhere. Also the parking is 28 dollars per day, there is self parking and valet the only difference is that u pay for selfparking 25 a day and every time u get in and out of the hotel. I've worked in the area for many years and to attend a gala at another nearby hotel, I selected the Hilton and personally reserved four rooms for myself and three other couples (friends). Hotel is comfortable, well-kept and relaxing with excellent food. Close to major shopping areas but transport is needed. The hotel services include arranging transport for sightseeing and shopping according to your desire. This is really fantastic and the service is highly efficient. A stay at Hilton downtown is highly recommended.
