We had several issues with this hotel. The room was not booked properly. When they tried to give us another room, the room was missing beds and they put us in a third one, which had a bad odor. Finally, the fourth one worked. Overall, it is not worth it. I will not stay in this hotel in the future because there are several good options around it.

Great room for a great price. Very convenient location. However... the name of the hotel is actually extended Stay America. The name mix-up made it very hard to find. (If you are looking for it, it is tucked behind Wendy's.)

I was looking for a hotel where my cat could stay in the room with me. This was the nicest I have found in the Richardson area. It is a nice building with nice rooms in a nice location surrounded by trees and office buildings. None of that freeway noise. My only complaints are about the bed. My king bed was VERY firm. But the main problem is that they […] need to find mattress pads and bottom sheets that will stay on the bed. I have never experienced a hotel with bottom sheets and mattress pad that came off and crumpled up under me every time I rolled over. I woke up several times to try to put everything back in place, but it was pointless. Please, go buy some new fitted sheets before I stay again. I may bring one of my own sheets just in case! The stay was fine. Room had been reserved on the wrong day and the rep, while he did find us a room, grumbled about it. Then 5 minutes after we got in our room another guest tried to use his key card to get in. The rep had given him our room too. A pain to get checked in.

The room was horrible. The bed was hard. Their were no extra blankets or pillows. The front desk people were not helpful at all. When I called them to ask questions, they acted like I was bothering them.

It took almost an hour to check~in and there was only 3 people in line. I was #2. When I got in the room I noticed the table top covered in dried up coffee while I tried to eat my now cold Wendy's burger and fries. The bedding looked as if someone laid on the bed, then housekeeping came and just pulled up the sheets. WOW!!!

When I travel, my priorities for a hotel room are that it be clean and quiet and this place failed at both. Front office staff is not the best. Lots of miscommunication. There is only one staff that I met was helpful. Didn't realize there is only soap, no shampoo, no lotion. Loby of hotel not reflective of rest of facility. While room initially appeared clean, carpet in state of disrepair, bathroom was disgusting (gross and mildeew; took photographs) and could not get air conditioning cool enough. Will not stay tthere again and will recommend others not, too...over-priced forr experience.

My room was on the second floor. There is no elevator, so pack light. My desk lamp did not work, so bring a light. It took two days to get the light replaced. The linoleum floor in the kitchen area was peeling up in the corners. There was a wad of gum on the carpet between the bed and night stand. I had to spend one night, from 8pm on and since the hotel was conveniently located and had a special price, I took it. It was clean. Bath area was very clean and shower was good. We stayed 2 nights the room was not serviced after the first night. The toilet was broken and would barley flush we ended up lifting the lid on the tank to get it to flush. When we booked the room it said it include breakfast but come to find out they only serve breakfast on week days. We there on a weekend.

The carpet on the stairs was dirty, the building did not smell clean and fresh. The hotel room was sprayed with so much (room spray) it bothered our allergies. I was visiting Labor Day week and stayed there for 5 days. Once I checked in andwent to my room I realized they gave me a room with two twin beds when I asked for a king size bed room. I was never notified of this even tho my reservation had been booked a week in advance. What they also fail to tell you is that if you stay for less than a week you don't get room service. I stayed at the Homestead for four days. Clean rooms, good price and nice staff. Very few complaints. Yes, it needs some updating but everything was clean and well taken care of.The A/C was great considering it was 111 outside. I would definitely stay there again if the need arises.

I thought I would save a few bucks as I would only be there one night and could deal without an amenity or two....no big deal. Wrong! Worst decision. For most people this hotel would have been fine. I just needed a place to sleep for a couple nights. It was a good price and the room had more than I expected in it. But I requested a wheelchair accessible room and obviously didn't get one. The first room they gave me was on the second floor, no elevator. I ended up scrubbing myself down with a wash cloth. I don't know if this is common in hotels but, it didn't have a dvd player in the room and you couldnt get one from the front desk. It was "surface area clean" for the most part but as soon as we walked into the lobby we were hit by a strong smell of smoke. Then when we entered the hotel to go to our room again we were hit by a really strong smell of smoke that took me back to the 1980s. Our room was non-smoking and I don't think it smelled too bad. The thing I didn't like in the room was that the bath tub was surrounded with mold and the carpet was just nasty.
