The hotel was nice and the room was nice and clean. The elevators were prompt and when I requested a few things to the room it came very quickly. The only issue I had was with parking and it was only that I didn't know where to park. The parking garage is the turn right before the hotel drop off. It almost looks like a staging area but it leads to the parking garage.

We were making a quick trip to the Galleria, so The Westin was very convenient since it is attached and is easy to get to. We valeted the car. So the next moring after sleeping in in those nice comfy beds we walked right down to the food court and ate. Then the valet brought the car around and loaded the luggage and we were able to leave the car valeted while we shopped since it was already paid for. It was great. I would recommend it to everyone!!!

This is one of the best hotels in Houston! Location is the best. It's right in the middle of the galleria. Great service! Only negative is the bathrooms. For such a nice hotel the bathroom is extremely small.

This was our second stay St the Westin Galleria, and we really enjoy are visits. It is very friendly staffed and right inside the Galleria. There are many wonderful places to eat close by, and parking is free. It is hard to get to at first, but the front desk can assist you before you arrive on where to park and what road to access. We are looking forward to another stay there soon.

Loved the convenience...however.....it's ridiculous that they charge to use their computers. My daughter had a paper due by midnight at her university and left behind her laptop's adapter. They offered a private room for $50 or a computer open area next to the bar, for a $$ flat rate and $ per additional minute. Crazy when you are at a 4 star hotel paying for a 4 star room.

I don't know if I can ever stay here again. I received the worst treatment I've ever received at a hotel. They didn't get me in a room till 7:00p and we had to leave for the restaurant at 7:15p. I got jerked around from 3-7p. Unacceptable.!

For those who want quick access to Galleria its great. My biggest problem was the temperature. I could not get the room cold. It was about 74 in the room the whole time even though l lowered the thermostat. The service was good so no complaint there.

I don't normally do reviews - but thought this was worth sharing. After a long day of shopping thought it would be fun to stay at the Galleria. Did a quick search on Hotel.com for 4-5 star hotels around Galleria. Decided on Westin Galleria. Not the best choice had other options a bit cheaper but decided to try something new. They could not give me the same price as hotels.com so I had to book through my phone (hassle). Room details...remote did not work, no water bottles, bathroom was barely up to 3 star standards. Hotel otherwise was just kinda boring. Much more wow factor at other nearby hotels (for less $).

We had a late night check in close to midnight on Christmas Day, the Front Desk staff was still very jolly and courteous, we appreciated that very much. The Housekeeping Staff is also very responsive. We had called for an extra towel set and a roll-away bed (complimentary) and both items arrived within a reasonable amount of time. We had experienced in other hotels where housekeeping requests for such items as towels would take over an hour, maybe almost 2 hours before arrival. We also are pleased with Housekeeping staff responsiveness and courtesy. Overall, our experience at the Westin Galleria in Houston was very pleasant, even though the hotel and staff were busy with the University of Minnesota alumni who were staying and 'camped' at this hotel. Being able to walk out of the hotel directly into the Galleria Mall is also a very big plus for us. Highly recommend this hotel for their staff, both Front Desk and Housekeeping, and for the the convenient entry into the Galleria Mall.

I had a very nice time. Hotel was fine. What bothers me (terribily) is that they charged my credit card $50 for possible incidentals for a 3- 5 day period 'without' my permission! That is a terrible thing to do to someone who is not expecting it. No one at the check in desk said that this would be happening, so it's a darn good thing I came straight home and checked my bank account before causing a bunch of bounced checks!! Yes, I live on a shoe string budget. That is very presumptious of them. I never agreed to that. They never forwarned me or had me sign anything...Geeze! When I spoke to the manager, he was so unconcerned, just dryly apologized, "I'm sorry, but it's our policy,,,yadda yadda yadda..." Hey! Just have your employees explain it to people at the begining!! I need to know if my money will be tied up 3 days before Christmas! right?

As you can tell, the Westin charges $10 a night for internet. How absurb is that, especially since I am paying $130 per night! Also, no shuttle to and from the airport, though onviously this isn't required (always a nice perk they should think about though)! And two of the elevators were not working when I was there, and it took forever for the elevator to come by. It was quite frustrating. I know I started my review on negative note and it's not to dock points for not having internet for free, but I liked the following features: it was attached directly to the mall (the mall pretty much had everything you would ever want), and the staff was great (I was jokingly complaining about the internet when I had to use the stairs because of the elevator, and the staff member comped me free hotel for one night!). If you are using Super SHuttle, take into account that it will probably end up taking 45 min to an hour. I am assuming by taxi will be much quicker.

The woman that checked us in was incredibly helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. She offered us a late check out without having to ask for one. The rooms are spacious and the Westin beds are the best!

I prepaid for a double bed and when I got there well after check-in they told me they didn't have any. I was disappointed, valet took too long, but overall the hotel was nice.

I think that it was excellent for a single overnight stay. Allowed us the ability to walk the next morning in the Galleria and enjoy breakfast.

this is a very good hotel to stay in houston, there is shopping and dinning walking distance and is not far from downtown and stadiums, though they can use much better people at the concierge

I arrived at midnight very tired from my 3 hour flight. The front desk was all smiles. I get out of the elevator and look for my room down each hallway. Turns out, it was right next to the elevator bank. A drunk person would have mistaken my door as the elevator, that's how close it was. See the picture. I couldn't sleep well because as people got out of the elevator, I could hear them. As the elevator stopped on our floor, I could hear the "ding" sound each time. I believe I fell asleep from exhaustion. Who gives this room out to its business travelers? Is it because it was a discounted rate as I added it to my flight reservation during my Expedia booking?

When we arrived for check in at 3 & I was told the rooms were not ready & wouldn't be ready for another hour. Then 10 mins later one room was ready. I was then told that they did not have any adjoining rooms (which is what we requested when the rooms were booked a month in advance). After being brought to our room the balcony was locked (another reason we booked here was for the balcony) & were told we wouldn't be able to access it. The next morning we were accused of smoking cigarettes in the room by the bell hop in a very rude way. It was one thing after another and no one was helpful. Very disappointed! Will never use this hotel ever again!
