Hotel rooms in need of refurbishment, rooms very dull but clean - no mini bar/ fridge. Staff all very friendly. A number of hotels in the area, unlikely I would return to this hotel unless refurbished.

This is an optimal location in the DFW area, primary reason why I chose it. The room layout and comfort was very pleasing however it needed updating! Rather to say it needed a bit of maintenance! A ventilation system in the bathrooms would help tremendously but the mold in the bathroom ruined the overall stay for me! The bed was great. That was the only positive thing. When we got there there was urine on the toilet seat. We paid for parking before hand, but they charged us again at checkout. When we arrived they had our reservation all wrong and we told the guy "no it should be a room with a king" and he didn't believe us until I showed him our papers. Also, you […] have to pay for everything there, which I was expecting, but a bottle of nestle water costs almost 6 bucks when you can walk across the street and get a dasani for $1. The expedia deal for a suite, breakfast, internet and parking for $196 was an exceptional deal. However, the furniture in the suite needed to be sold at a garage sale or given to Goodwill. The bed and bedding were great.

Staff was pleasant and helpful other than the business center which was virtually useless as the computers available for printing were not functioning. Room was nice. Hotel was understaffed but staffers were nice. Were not told until we arrived that we had to pay if we wanted to park in the garage or use in-room Internet. The lobby Internet was free. Good location but surrounding road construction makes getting in and out a bit of a challenge.

The hotel, while clean, is looking tired. The room was clean and did not reek of Febreze as many hotels do. The king-size bed did not have a proper fitted bottom sheet and housekeeping repeatedly made the bed with a gap at the foot of the bed.

The staff really make this hotel a great place to stay. My grandson loved the glass elevator, the pool, and all the places he could go. We liked it as it was comfortable, quiet, clean and great views! We didn't eat at the hotel but I did have a few drinks... they have a great pour.

Had requested two beds(2 adults 2 children). Were told only king available, would send cots. Then were told by bellman we would be moved to a new room with two queens. The cots show up which we let them know we are waiting for a new room key. We wait another hour, not unpacking or wanting to mess up the room, contact front desk who is clueless and could […] care less. The houskeeping dept called back and asked why we sent the cots back. By now it is 10:30-11pm and kids need to go to bed. He sent us the cots and we stayed in the room. Of course one of the cots didn't have a blanket, which we did request and was sent up within a few minutes. At least the housekeeping dept is on top of its game. the hotel is large and in a great location. the lobby and bar area are pretty nice and the staff was extremely courteous, but the hallways are quite dark and dingy. Overall, solid choice for the price.

A pleasant hotel with good physical accomodations. It's a bit out of the way, but everything in Dallas is 15 minutes. Not a lot to do around hotel. The staff was OK. At first they debated my rate and perks, but once they looked at the reservation they chilled out. The staff was helpful the next two days. Everything you'd expect from a Westin - very nice, clean, fancy. The free breakfast was AMAZING. Eggs, bacon, oatmeal, fresh fruit, egg whites & spinach, coffee, OJ, etc. Perfect for a business traveler not wanting to worry about finding a place to eat in the morning.

Walking trail maps great- very close to 5 mile trail. Currenlty construction on 635 is a mess (September 2012) but this is temporary issue. Food, service, bed, sleep, conference rooms all wonderful. Sound system in conference rooms very poor. This is only complaint on entire weekend in hotel conference.
