"Great hotel for families visiting Universal!"
Our stay was wonderful. Breakfasts in the mornings were leisurely because we had until 10am for breakfast. Great selections! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Although you advertise a business center with computer, Internet and printer access, I would encourage you to market to families. I would like to apologize for the minor issue you experienced while here. Our hotel does offer a Business Center open 24 hours a day located just next to the Front Desk. You have the capability to logon onto your personal email, and print anything to the copy machine in the room. Our shuttle is handled through Universal Studios so we do not have any choice on the times or how often it runs. In case you will be returning to Orlando before the end of the year, Universal has arranged for a 2nd shuttle to take guests to the theme parks. I hope that you will return to Orlando and give us another chance. We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.

This hotel can not decide whether they want to be a motel or a hotel. We had a rude check-in. Our room was spacious and nice but on our second nite our bed was not done! I thought that was unacceptable. The hotel is right next to a bunch of eataries like IHop, KFC and Tacobell and is superclose to Universal Studios. Continental breakfast was good, a couple cereals, waffle maker, coffee, juices, fruit and pastries to choose from. Shuttle service to Universal was quite nice, it only had one departure and return time, but the hotel is so close to universal that we walked back to the hotel in about 20-25 minutes 2 of the 3 days we went. We were given a handicap room? When I went to get another room we were given another handicap room? After another trip downstairs to get a regular room, finally the third room was a regular room with a king size bed. I don't understand why this was such a difficult request? The location couldn't have been more comfortable. Close to Universal Studios and all shopping spots. The rooms were big and cozy. "Have your cake and eat it too"
My wife and I had a great expierence this past weekend on our trip. The Wingate by Wyndham has spacious, updated, contemporary rooms that left us wanting for nothing. The hotel also serves a free breakfast (eggs, sausage, fresh Belgian waffles, fruit, cereal, etc. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by teh breakfast. The hotel is beautiful, the […] staff is all friendly (they all seems to go out of their way and make it a point to make my wife and I happy & comfortable). The breakfast was delicious and the area was kept clean; food was fully stocked! Room was very nice as well. Very close to Universal Studios and you can take a shuttle from the hotel. Restaurants across the street as well. The only negative was that we did not want a handicapped accessible room and the shower had very little pressure due to the handicap […] accessibility. We requested a room with a king bed but the man at the desk did not tell us that only handicapped accessible rooms with king beds were available. When I called the front desk, he did say we could check the next day for another room but we did not want to move after we were settled into the room. "Near Universal/ Islands of Adventure"
The location was good. We rode the free shuttle to Universal. It came at 8:30 in the Am and picked us up at 8:20 in the pm. The hotel also had a breakfast from 7 am to 10 am which was good and helps to save a few dollars.Overall it was a clean, quiet facility which I wouldn't hestitate to use again.
