It was a nice & comfortable stay. Clean & quiet. Overall a very nice stay. Just some minor things. I don't know if it was just our room, but I noticed the doors & door frames need to be painted. It was surprising to see the paint on all the doors so scratched or chipped off. Also, for such a nice breakfast, why Styrofoam plates?

Average hotel but the price makes it well worth it. I only stay overnight for business. Fitness center and business center are on par with what you will find at most any hotel. Breakfast was better than most. Lots of choices no matter what your diet may require. Will stay here again.

We came in from Louisiana due to our son playing football at MSU. We had reservations made like about 3 weeks ahead of time. Well when we did arrive the room that was reserved for us was taken. I don't know how it happened or what even went wrong, so we had to wait for about 45 minutes almost an hour for another room, then we didn't get a room that we reserved which was a double queen beds, we got put in a king suite. It wasn't bad at all cause we were very tired, but my son said that the sofa sleeper was really uncomfortable. I probably would go back cause at that time it was just hectic and I did reserve two rooms again for the month of November. The price wasn't bad at all either.

This was a big hotel name and the it was the closest to my grandparents house so our group books 5 rooms for 4 days. In a nut shell, none of us will stay in this hotel again. I don't have the time or desire to list all of the reasons as to why we will not stay there again but here are a few. We all had the same rooms but we all paid different prices. The external door locks did not work so anyone can walk in at any time. On weekends after 8 people come off the street to use the pool in their street cloths. Ants in the rooms I asked for extra towels and ended up with none 2 out of 4 nights. I asked for extra bedding... it never showed up. The breakfast person was just plan mean and grumpy every morning. Elevators are like riding a 100 year old roller coaster. And so on and so on..... My job requires me to travel about 150 days a year so I know hotels and what most are like. This is not one of them.

Overall I was pleased with my stay. I was there for 2 days, the hotel staff was pleasant.I did arrive a couple hours early to check in and was a little disappointed that there were no rooms available sooner due to housekeeping not having clean bed sheets. After driving 10hrs I just wanted to relax a little. Also they ran out of clean face towels. The young lady at the front desk was very accommodating contacting me letting me know as soon as my rooms were ready.Again overall I was happy with my stay and I would recommend the hotel to travelers. My complaints were minor.

I thought the property would be a "hidden gem" since it is not located on the main thoroughfare in Columbus. The property is no different from the lower rated properties in the area. Quality of service, condition of the property, cleanliness and room comfort is borderline satisfactory. But I got what I paid for.

Hallways stunk and the "gym" is lacking. The hot tub is in the lobby area for everyone to stare at you. The neighborhood is not that great but Columbus doesn't really have "good" neighborhoods.

I used the hotel to attend the memorial service in Starkville for a friend. I was traveling as an individual, and I stayed one night. The hotel is close to Highway 82 with easy access. Very friendly and helpful staff. Shopping and food are available one exit down on Highway 82. Clean comfortable room. Nice hot breakfast.

Did not look like it had been cleaned properly. We spoke to the staff when we checked in late and they offered to come and make it right. They wiped spots off the wall & brought new linens. However the floors did not appear to have been vacuumed (we actually found a receipt on the floor from a previous guest....)

Went back to my hometown to visit family. While trying to a decent hotel for the visit came across a deal from Expedia. Was able to get a big enough room for cheaper than most hotels and for a better room too. Great service and they worked it so my disabled mother was able to have a downstairs room.

It was really disappointing staying their motel was not as clean as I would have thought and the house cleaning people were very rude.i probably will never stay at the hotel again.We found dirty wraps and socks and shoes laying in the floor and as I said the house keeping you could tell was terrible.

We had requested adjoining rooms. We have 4 young children and this is a must. They said they did not see the request and did not have any available. This resulted in a lot of running back from room to room, very inconvenient. The hotel had a musty, foul odor. The walls and floor were pretty dirty.

Our trip to Columbus was for Christmas with family. The first room we were put in had a leak in the ceiling and was still dripping plaster. We reported this to the front desk and were immediately moved to another room. This room was very comfortable but the ice bucket did not have a bag. When the room was cleaned the next day, the ice bucket was not emptied and again there was not a bag. Other than that, the room appeared clean. The breakfast was very good and the hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

It was what I expected for $80/night. It was not great but it was fine. The pillows were soft enough. The bathroom was a bit weathered. Breakfast was actually pretty good. I probably wouldn't recommend if you were doing a long-term stay but I would stay here again when passing through town.
