My husband and I stayed at the Wingate for three nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. All staff that we encountered was very pleasant and accommodating from front desk help to housekeeping. The rooms were decorated very nice and freshly updated. Beds and pillows were very comfortable! The hot breakfast was a nice addition to our stay and the only improvements they could make on that would be to add more fresh fruit and another waffle maker. Hotel was close to Cowboys stadium and we were provided with a free shuttle to and from game. This is on a first come, first serve basis, but is a nice added feature. I will stay at the Wingate next time I return to Dallas.

The hotel is great..nice, clean and good location. The reason we picked this hotel is because it was across the highway from the new Cowboy stadium and we were attending a college game in the stadium. We were expecting a free shuttle service to the stadium, but when we arrived at the hotel..they had given away all the wrist bands and we had to hire a taxi. Very disapointing. The shuttle service was the draw to the location of this hotel. So don't expect to receive a free shuttle ride unless you arrive 2 days before the event.

Hotel over exceeded our expectation. Hotel staff was extremely courtous and helpful. Hotel was very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Will definately stay there again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was a great location near great restaurants, Six Flags and Cowboys Stadium. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Their shuttle was awesome and almost always available. All the staff were extremely friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

We were looking for something clean and affordable and somewhat close to where our concert was going to be (the new Dallas Stadium). This hotel exceeded our expectations. Not only did we have a very nice, VERY CLEAN room (with a view of Six Flags)we were within minutes from everything we wanted to do and some things we didn't even know we wanted to do! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the other guests were so quiet it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We will stay here again.

Staff was very polite and courteous. The rooms were clean, roomy, and quiet. Breakfast was OK, but all you'd expect from a self service deal; the variety was good. Location was perfect for our visit.

The desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a stain on the desk chair that looked like blood, but other than that everything was very clean and comfortable. It was nice and quiet too. Unless we were near the door to our room, we didn't hear any other guests, doors, TVs from other rooms. Very relaxing.

The hotel was really nice. However, the hot tub was empty when we got there which was half the reason I booked this hotel. After a little prodding about surrounding properties, we did get access to the hot tub next door. Also keep in mind that the "trolley" is seasonal and doesn;t run after Labor Day. The hotel did accommodate us with their shuttle, but we had to pay for a cab to get back as it was after their shuttle hours. The beds are really comfortable and the breakfast had make-your-own waffles, frozen sausage biscuits, and eggs, plus all your continental fare. I'd stay there again next year, but i WILL make sure the hot tub is running. :)

I have stayed at this Hotel before - I realy enjoyed the indoor hot tub, this time tho - it was closed. My room was a little musty, did not smell clean. I will stay there and give it another shot if ever back in DFW. But was very dissapointed in weather, hotel, and hotel condition since last stay.

This hotel is located very near (within 2 miles)Ranger Stadium, the new Cowboys Stadium, UT at Arlington, and a number of tourist venues. We found easy access to all of our points of interest, even Six Flags over Texas, just across the highway. The rooms and sleeping accommodations were very comfortable. The morning breakfast available was plenty to get your day off to a good beginning. The staff were both courteous and very helpful. We would highly reccommend this hotel in the Arlington area.

This hotel is awesome! It really exceeded my expectations for the price. The room was clean and roomy. The rooms are updated with modern amenities. The microwaves and refrigerator were nice and convenient to have. The staff was very nice and cordial and attended to our needs.

The room and amenities are very nice; comfortable bed!!!! In a neighborhood of businesses (Hotels.com just down the street);seemed very secure. Easy on and off I30 or 360. Plenty of eateries within 5 minutes of hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

I had a great two-day stay at this hotel on 9/25 and 9/26. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile to find me a bottle opener on Friday evening. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well--it cooled pretty much the entire room even though I was on the 4th floor and it was very warm and humid outside. My only mild complaint was that the entire 4th floor hallway near my room (406) fairly reeked of cigarette smoke. Although I had a non-smoking room, I could still smell cigarettes when I was inside. The Fitness Center was tidy, well-stocked with clean towels and even had a little flat screen TV by the cardio equipment. It had all fairly new equipment--a multi-station universal-type weight apparatus, a recumbent bike, treadmill and an eliptical cardio machine. But the eliptical machine was broken, which was a bummer, as that is my favorite machine for cardio. I checked out the continental breakfast on Sunday morning, prior to my checking out. The coffee was surprisingly good for the genre, but I was a little disappointed at the hot choices--half-dollar sized sausage & biscuit sandwiches and flat scrambled eggs the size of pancakes--that was all. All-in-all, I had a very nice stay and experience at this hotel, and since my son lives about two miles away, I definitely planning on staying here again.

Really nice linens and good air conditioning. Need to change there "Where Magazine" in the room to Tarrant County not Dallas. Not a map one of Arlington or mention of any Arlington restaurants. Everything directed you to Dallas.

We were simply looking for a place to crash for the night near DFW, but found a great hotel for a reasonable price. We got way more room than we expected for the rate!

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great. Hotel was conveniently located. Trolley service a great plus.

Hotels.com indicated this hotel was within walking distance of new Cowboys Stadium....Not! Called as soon as arrived to complain. If it wasn't for the trolley service, we would have not even made it to the game. Wingate does provide courtesy shuttle to and from airport and within a 5 mi radius of hotel. Hotel Staff for the most part were accomodating however courtesy drivers were awesome! Boston's restaurant w/i walking distance, excellent and very nice Staff. Really recommend renting a car since not a lot around the hotel except other hotels and a couple of questionable diners.

Location was perfect with a free trolley for service to local attractions. Breakfast was wonderful and room was cleaned emaculately everyday. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel!

The hotel had a great location for six flags and for the ballpark. We were very surprised at the rooms for the cost it was more than we thought. The convience of the Trolley was our top seller. My husband and I will stay here again!!!!

Our room was very inviting. The beds were so cozy you did'nt want to get up. There were alot of choices on the breakfast bar,the food was very good. would go back!!!

The surrounding neighborhood in the hotels.com guest reviews sounded much better than other reviews I read, which turned out to be VERY accurate. Also, the rooms had been recently renovated, so they were new and comfortable. There was a free snack night one of the nights we stayed, with pop, beer, wine, and TV. It was very cute.

If you have a family that is looks for hotels based on a pool...this hotel is probably a last resort. The pool is extremly small. We have two boys and they ran out of room at the pool.

There were coffee makers in the dining area but no hot coffee available after breakfast during our 2 day stay. Other wise very nice, would stay there again.

was happy with the price we paid at the time. with the location of the hotel i was happy accordin to the destinations we were headed. also the trolley from the hotel took us to the ball games/six flags for free. room was clean. and every one was nice. thought i read that there was a pool. but it was the size of a small hot tub.

We were very satisfied with this hotel. The price, location and comfort met our expectations. It is very close to all the attractions we were interested in.
