Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Hotel comodo poichè vicinissimo agli champs-elysees, ma in zona tranquilla. Camere pulite ma troppo strette, armadio molto piccolo. Il personale è cordiale e disponibileGenuine Expedia guest review

"Beautiful place, comfy and home away from home :)"

The hotel had mixed reviews with some construction work on site etc However when I got there, this hotel knocked the ball out of the park. From the moment I stepped to the door to the moment I stepped out, the service was brilliant. The food at the restaurant was fantastic. The luxury room I stayed in was amazing, very large and featured a balcony, multiple access points to the large bathroom with waterfall shower head available as one of the options in the shower. Amenities in room was great with N espresso machine available as well. I felt at home and very relaxed here, wireless was fast and efficient as well. Location is great and close to metro and many restaurants, shops etc I think I have found myself my perfect location for the Paris stopovers in the future ;O)
"Excellent hotel in a great location"

This is truly a very nice hotel. You cannot beat the location. One can walk to everything near Champs Elysees, but the hotel itself is on a quiet street. It is very clean, wonderfully designed and the rooms are large in comparison to what you can get in other hotels that are centrally located in Paris. The beds are divine and guarantee a good quality sleep. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The check in and check out were efficient and the concierge was very good at giving directions. A bowl of fresh fruit in the lobby was highly appreciated after a hot day in Paris. The breakfast was good, but pricey. It would be great if the hotel decides to include it in the price of rooms. I appreciated the gluten-free options. We will be happy to stay at Sofitel again!
"Wonderful and hospitable!"
This hotel certainly has the "attention to the little things" that will make our stay comfortable. The location is convenient, the view from the room was so romantic and the all staff were so friendly.
"Sophisticated and relaxing"
Loved this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Modern and sophisticated decor, absolutely huge bed. In a great area of Paris, walking distance to most major areas. The only slight negative is the parking situation which is quite far from the hotel although staff are happy to take your car and park it for you. Highly recommended.
"Essence of Paris Hotel"

The Sofitel hotel I can honestly say looks exactly as advertised on their website (by the way, that is a good thing). I have stayed in about three different Sofitel's in different states and I have never been disappointed with the aesthetic and service provided by this hotel chain. The front desk staff was very pleasant and accommodating and also gave good suggestions for restaurants. As an american tourist, I find that I don't favor many of the European Hotel breakfast's, but I must say that the food here was delectable to my palate. The only problem that I encountered while staying here was that the hotel was experiencing a hot water issue. My stay was for 3 days and 2 of those days the water at night was cold. Taking a hot shower at the end of day after one has toured practically the whole city is essential for me. Although the water some how would be hot in the morning, I would have much preferred that it be hot at night. The hotel personnel was very apologetic and adjusted our bill and comped our mini bar because of the inconvenience.
"outstanding hotel at a good location"

The hotel staff really made an effort to make you feel welcome and at home. They were all very friendly and helpfull. Our room was clean and decorated very stilish. We even took some photo's from the bathroom because we want the same when we renovate ours. You could fill a day just lying in the heavenly bed and relaxing in the great shower. + you can stay in the hotel's atmosphere because many things like the bed(!) and towels can be bought online. - It was my first stay in Paris, so I don't know if this is standard at the hotels but the breakfast was expensive and not included in the roomprice

My girlfriend and i stayed here for 3 nights over valentines weekend and we both had a really good time. The service was fantastic, the rooms were imaculately clean and fresh, good variety for breakfast. This is the first hotel ive genuinely stayed in and actually felt comfortable. Would definatly recommend
"A nice experience, but not spectacular"

We stayed several days in early June while there for The French Open. Our room was fine, and had a set or french doors that opened, which was very nice. It was our honeymoon and the hotel acknowleged that with rose petals in our very compfortable bed when we arrived. They also sent an amazing chocolate "tennis court" in recognition of the Open. The conceirges were very helpful and friendly, as was the front desk staff, but many of the rest(particularly the doormen and some of the dinig room) of the staff really seemed to be just "going through the motions." The breakfast was adequate, but any time you ordered anything not on the buffet, the wait was 20-30 minutes. It is a great location with many bistros and a very nice grocery store within a few blocks.. The most disconcerting aspect of our visit was when I asked for a copy of our bill when we checked out and was told I could not get a copy; it had been sent to the travel agent who had booked the trip and I would have to get it from her. I have never had a hotel refuse to give me a copy of the bill theyhad just put on my credit card before... very odd.
"Average stay, nice room"
06/29/14 Karen S Houston, Texas
Our room was decent, it had plenty of space and it was clean. Fairly quiet for a large hotel, you could only hear people passing in the hallway, not outside noise. The reason why I rated this hotel average on service was because I thought the reception people were not polite or friendly. Let me start by saying, this excludes the porter/bellhop and the gentlemen at concierge who handles tours/events, they were quite helpful. We had to leave a day early for an emergency at home, and I could not have received a more "cold shoulder" from the ladies at reception. Even during check in I found them to be non friendly. First impressions mean everything in a hotel business and smiles go a long way!!! Other then this our stay was average. It didn't have a "wow" factor and I am not in a hurry to stay at this hotel again. I feel for the price, maybe I could find something a bit better.
"Fun and fabulously modern hotel, short walk from Arc, Parc Monceau"
06/21/14 Nikko4Me Milford, Massachusetts
This hotel is a block from the Arc de Triomphe, off rue Hoche. Parc Monceau is a 10-minute walk in the opposite direction from the ADT. Andree Putman was the designer of the hotel and her vision is amazing to see. The room (#107) is compact but the sleek design utilizes the space efficiently. Opening the door you come to the W/C and a beverage station. Next is the bathroom with a spacious shower. There are pocket doors on either side of the bathroom. There is a banquet in the corner with a table which was great for a computer set-up. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of fruit, pastries and items made to order. The dinner we had here with our Tauck tour was delicious, including all the selections on the pastry cart.
