"Ottimo hotel integralmente ristrutturato"
Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great location. Stayed for business but equally good for leisure"
03/28/15 Undertheoaks Surrey
Really nice hotel in a great location. Very friendly welcome from staff where nothing was too much trouble, lots of nice touches including Hermes toiletries in the bathroom. I don't usually stay somewhere more than once but I will definitely stay again for business or leisure. The only criticism is that breakfast is a little pricey but the quality is above par.
"Wonderful stay - une bonne addresse"

Absolutely lovely hotel. Partner and I stayed for six nights and had a wonderful time. Excellent location, 5 min walk to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs, but nestled in a quiet neighbourhood which is perfect when you get tired of the hubbub and bustle of the tourist sites and grand avenues. Room We were upgraded upon arrival to a premium junior suite from junior suite, and although initially disappointed with the courtyard view we came to love it as it reminded us of Parisian apartments in the movies, and was kitted out beautifully. High ceilings and two pairs of French doors with small Juliet balconies, blonde wood floors and white walls - clean and modern. Large bathroom with freestanding tub, giant shower with giant rain shower head and dual sinks all accented with glass mosaic walls, ample Hermes toiletries replenished everyday and beautifully laid out. The bathing area could also open out to bedroom with frosted sliding glass panels. The one flaw was the location of the toilet room which was strangely placed down the hall by the room entrance and had no vanity- which meant that you had to walk to the bathing area to wash your hands after using it - a small sink should be in or by the water closet. Other than that the room was fantastic and very functional - excellent bed and bedding, useful seating dining area, lots of storage space cleverly camouflaged - felt like a modern pied a terre. Little details which we loved: the nightcove alarm / iPod dock with its chill sounds and light effects to help sleep / wake up, complimentary nespresso pods, brown and white sugars for the coffee that were pressed into the shape of the Arc de Triomphe which we saw at la grande epicerie of Bon Marche for too many euro, but complimentary at the hotel. And the Hermes bath amenities in Eau d'orange verte. And excellent Wifi, free as it should be, throughout the hotel. Restaurants We got breakfast included in our rate which was well worth it - excellent food and service. Wide variety and high quality on the buffet: great croissants and breads, fruit, organic yogurt, jambon de Paris, jamon, varieties of smoked salmon, sushi, macarons, cakes, great hot chocolate, Beillevaire butter!, excellent cheese including good cantal and a lovely morbier, etc. as well as sausage, eggs, bacon and requisite breakfast food - all great. Nice comfortable room too. Had an excellent dinner at L'Initial - excellent apps and entrees. Pork beautifully prepared and the scallops were a highlight which our waiter sprinkled with a black pepper from Nepal called Timut -the scent of grapefruit and the taste of pepper and citrus. Service Excellent! Warm, friendly and professional. Emails were responded to within 24-48 hours, more often within 24. Room requests were accommodated by guest services and restaurants were booked with ease by concierges prior to our arrival. Great tips from the concierge staff including getting tickets to Louvre from the hotel so you don't have to get in the crazy lineup. When the lovely guest services rep found out this was a special trip she sent up a gorgeous mousse cake. Doormen were always friendly, flagged cabs easily and provided umbrellas for use when needed. Maid service turndown executed largely invisibly, friendly and helpful when we ran into them. Restaurant staff were really great - informed, interested and fun. Overall a wonderful stay and will return when next in Paris - une tres tres bonne addresse.
"Well located business hotel"

Everything was fine. Nice reception from the staff, a clean room, good water pressure, decent linens. Only disappointments were the meager cocktails in the lobby bar and the breakfast given poor service level and just okay food. Plenty of nicer hotels to try.
"Little Break, Excellent Hotel!!"

Well, what can I say situated in a blinding area right on top of the arch de triumph. Its walking distance to the Eiffel tower and the actual room is blinding. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The room come with a nice big flat screen that pulls out, it has a DVD player and a big iPod docking station that changing colour with moods. It has a nice clean bath and a big shower which is relaxing. All products for washing are from Hermes which is great. I always find it hard to find a decent restaurant in paris thats reasonably priced. So where we paid for a top notch hotel we thought we'd get room service as we got back for disney land late. We ordered Onion soup for starters and steak and chips for main. The soup was nice but the steak was an extreme disappointment. it was a thin piece of meat which contained a fair bit of fat!! when they came to collect the plates and ask about the food. I told them the steak was very disappointing and we did not enjoy. We received nothing back as a gesture! I wouldn't have minded as much but we are talking about an £80 meal. I can honestly stay that was my biggest gripe, the hotel was fantastic other than that. It had a bar, gym down stairs and great view from our balcony. Yes i recumbent this hotel but again you sort of pay for it. Would I go back to that hotel?, yes i would.
"Looks are not everything"
03/18/15 Alexandra A Lyon
A really fancy hotel just a few minutes away from the Champs Elysees but far away enough from where the tourist noise would disturb you. Beautiful rooms, with more lightswitches than in my whole appartment. A portier person actually welcoming you to the hotel. And the little sugars for your coffee are in the shape of the Arc de Triomphe> WOW. But...it seems to me that this hotel goes a little too much for the looks and much less for the actual quality of service. Yes, it is great to have 20 different ways of turning lights on and off in the room but that does not help when there is the one light above the cupboard that you can only turn off either by trying a chain of keycombinations with all the switches that you can find or you just pull the keycard. The shower is fancy with this water coming from above in a rainy kind of way but totally inappropriate if you actually have long hair and try to wash it quickly. There is shower gel and all that stuff but with such a male scent that it is unusable for female customers (except if you want to smell like George Clooney). The sink was not working so I almost flooded the bathroom. The bed is so fluffy you feel like sinking into a creamcake (not everyones cup of tea). The internet connection is jumpy. The bar closes at 11 pm which is interesting in a country where you usually only get out of dinner at that hour and thus then have to have a drink somewhere else (which gets tricky and expensive in that area). And when I arrived at breakfast about half the tables were dirty the other half was used so I had nowhere to sit down and was asked to wait 5 minutes (which I could not as I literally had only 10 minutes for breakfast). There were like 4 staff members around but none seemed committed to cleaning breakfast tables when customers leave. So I guess if you come for a romantic stay love lightswitches have time for breakfast and love to sink 2 feet into the bed then yes go for it location is great and it really is pretty. But if you are a business traveler I would not recommend it.

We stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I mentioned it to the hotel in advance and we received a delicious little cake and had rose petals scattered throughout the room. Very sweet. The location is great - near the metro/ the Arc, but now right in the midst of touristy activity. I loved that we could open our window and even step out onto a small balcony. The room was not tiny, and the modern decor was pleasant. I really liked teas from da rosa and sugar cubes shaped like the Arc de Triomphe. Everyone was very pleasant. And of course the bed is amazing...
"Very good property - just out of the way of the tourist hustle and bustle"

The hotel is just off Avenue Friedland, a five minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and near all the couturiers on the Champs-Elysees and Avenue George V. Ive begun to stay at Sofitels around the world. This was is as expected. The rooms are well appointed, with style and substance. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the design of the bathroom gives the impression the room is larger than it is. I love that the windows open. Toiletries are all Hermes Orange Verte. Lighting is actually bright enough, a pet peeve of mine. Wi-Fi is free. The staff were all top notch. I particularly liked my room service waiter. He went the extra mile. Since the bathroom can be left wide open to the room, its nice they have the toilet in a separate space.
"A good surprise"
It was as on many occasions a short stay and we chose it from randomly. I have to say that although everything was not perfect the attention and care of the staff was very important. I had a beginning of flu and ask for some prescription from the pharmacy and they went there to bring it to the room, impeccable. The room was nice with two balconies and a good and clear view. We were also given a late check out even with a very busy hotel. For Paris its usual to get very small rooms but this was not the case, gladly!! Il will go back .... next time in Paris.
I stayed here for my birthday in November - clean rooms with a modern twist! Extremely helpful staff! I would definitely recommend to family and friends! As we only eat halal food, the staff were so helpful in finding us some middle eastern restaurants around the city - arranging transport for us and recommending their favourite dish on the menus!

My husband and I just spent three nights at the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe and only have rave reviews to share. The location is terrific, just around the corner from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. It's surrounded by excellent restaurants, bakeries and several Metro stops. It's been recently renovated and it a great mix of traditional and modern. The room was large and luxurious...and so quiet that it was hard to believe we were only steps from all of the late night action! The staff was attentive and friendly and very helpful. We would undoubtedly stay here again and are recommending to all of our friends and family.
