Upon checking into our room, we were rather taken aback. The room didn't look anything like the description on the internet. The bedding was damp and the wallpaper had a horrid odour. My partner immediately suggested that we have the bedding changed, no-one turned up to the room, until I went down to the reception and requested to be transffered to a different room. We were then relocated to room 340. Prior to moving to the room,we decided to take video footage of the state of the room to show management and to send to the watchdog. The next room was slightly better. But for an operation of that magnitude which underwent a £2M facelift, I don';t know where the funds went to. I wouldn't recommend this hotel under any circumstances, the rooms are apalling & very substarndard.

The room was not what we asked for. We asked for a non smoking, twin beds, but we had a single bed and a double, there was an ashtray. TV reception was poor. The view from the window shown the roof and pipeworks. We requested we move to another room. We got that, one floor up, the next day. But this was a smoking area. We had a view of the sea, but the window was draughty, beds were uncomfortable. No radiator in the bathroom. TV teletext did not work. We departed one day early because my wife could not sleep on the bed any longer and she was cold. The only thing good was the breakfast service in the restaurant.

I liked this hotel. The breakfast was good although need to go to breakfast early otherwise it gets very busy, the coffee was not great though. This hotel is a short trip on the bus from main Blackpool which is lovely & quiet in the area but can be expensive as you need to get a bus to go anywhere & costs around £2.00 to get to the pleasure & £160.00 to get to the North Pier which is only a short jorney but expensive. This hotel is great for families as it has a little cinema in there which show films throughout the day & evening i also like the fact that the staff are helpful but being a hotel they leave you alone rather than staying in a b&b where they want to constantly talk to you

We stayed at the Norbreck Castle for a relatives wedding. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was difficult to find in the large rambling hotel. Breakfast was excellent. We also used the hotel pool during our weekend stay. As a Wedding venue it was lovely, especially the dining and entertainment facilities used afterwards, for family and friends. The meal and buffet were excellent. Staff were helpful, organised and pleasant.

Large hotel to the North of Blackpool in a nice location by the beach. Felt like a 1070s Butlins resort. The general up keep of the hotel was very poor. The rooms were dated, with paper thin walls and prison beds. Was woken on several occations thorughout the night by guests just walking down the corridor. I would not recommend this hotel to any potential guests and feel that it was thourally overpriced.

Where should i start well we arrived and booked in that was ok the lady was nice but could not get away from us quick enough, told us the number of the room and very quick directions, we was on the bottom floor ok not bad then we walked to our room being sent to the depths of the hotel right at the back, our lovely view was of a wall and some gateswell what else do we expect using a cheap hotel company, we thought well we wont be in our room for long, so ok, we went to the bar for drinks and to get tea that was okgood price drinks for a hotel, went back to our room that night following the entertainment in the hotel which i must say was ok, falling asleep at 11pm to be woken up at 12.30am to you will never guess a hoover someone was hoovering oh did i mention we was by the fire escape that all the staff used as the excuse to stand at the door to smoke which made the smell come into our room and made you cough as you walked up the corridore to the room, ok first night over breakfast was great, went out for the day came back to get changed for night out first time we noticed bathroom door was broken and there was dried blood on the wall in the bathroom and in the bedroom, had a shower that was that high you could not get it to face down so had to stand at end of the bath to be touched by water. we then went outcoming back we fell asleep to be woken again at 1am to trucks banging all night long,

Stay was Ok but the Hotel is way too old.... really castle time. Bathroom had some problems as cold and hot water tabs were seperate in the sink so either you get water too cold or too hot in the sink, the shower water was fine, water pressure was real good. Another big problem was the breakfast, althought it was complementary, it was too crowded at the breakfast room and breakfast itself was aweful.

We came to the Norbreck for a relaxing weekend break and found the hotel to be satisfactory. The room we were given was a family room, despite asking for a double, and smelt peculiar ,almost like a old peoples home .It was a smoking room, and the whole corridor smelt of smoke, which was not good, especially as we dont smoke. It would have been better if we had been asked if we wanted a smoking or non smoking room. The room was clean but basic. I was expecting a better standard for the money. The hotel facilities were good, and the nightly entertainment was of a good standard. Mealtimes were like a cattle market.ie a free for all and no real directions given on what to do etc.On the evening we arrived, the dinner had been overbooked so we had to eat elsewhere! The hotel is desperately in need of redecoration and repair which would make a vast difference.I also think that breakfast and evening meal arrangements should be changed to make it a more enjoyable experience. However all in all an enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was a real test of nerves! Couldnt sleep at night for the noise & water system was dreadful. It was also too far out, long travel to anything! still if your into big hotels with lots to offer this could be for you!! Next time we would go for a more personal option.

The hotel looked lovely from outside but it ends there. We had a premier double room and the bathroom was as large as the actual bedroom, you had to a tight sqeeze to get between the bed and dressing table. The window catch was broke so the window could not be closed properly, definately not ideal for december in blackpool! There was a biscuit on the carpet behind the chair in our room when we arrived and it was still there when we left 4 days later, says alot for the standard of cleaning. The bathroom though large was grubby, and had damp patches on the floorcovering. We were on bed & breakfast basis but the queues for breakfast took so long we ended up going into Blackpool and buying breakfast there. There was entertainment in the hotel as I was in bed trying to sleep at 1am listening to the music, and when I phoned reception i was told there was a function on so it would be after 1am before it ended. All and all I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel caters for pensioners who arrive by coach during each day. Up to 1000 in the breakfast room so we went to the market in town for a fry up. In the hotel there is a small resturant apart from the guests on full board. The food there is first class. Had the Steak with no need for a steak knife. Whole meal very good, worth the visit for that. Hotel easy to find in a remote part of the front with plenty of parking. Rooms clean and fair size. Smoking rooms available. Drinks cheap.

Bokas i god tid. Större inköp görs i Blackpool.
