Upon arrival the desk clerk immediately made a fine offer of a better room with larger bed, breakfast included, with private breakfast room, etc. Sure, and well worth the small upcharge. The bell captain helped secure boarding passes for another airport and the servers in the breakfast room went above and beyond. Good show.

I had never heard of Delta hotels before, but the price was right and I took a chance for a single night. We paid much less for this hotel than the advertised price and we got our money's worth. This is not a 3 1/2 star hotel. Service was good but the rooms were not exemplary. The location is terrible if you are driving, it is hard to get to the hotel because of the one way roads.

Those are the three words I would use to best describe this hotel and the attentive staff who served us. While this hotel is not located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, it is conveniently located near the airport which is exactly what we were looking for while waiting to fly home from our cruise. During our stay we really didn't notice any of the […] typical aircraft/airport noise, which was nice given how close the hotel is to the airport. Our room was well appointed and incredibly comfortable, with a wonderful water view. The staff was very gracious and accommodating, they even offered to provide us a free shuttle ride to the nearby fisherman's wharf in Steveston. My husband enjoyed a wonderful afternoon strolling around the cute village and had a delicious lunch overlooking the harbor. That evening we ate dinner at the restaurant/bar that is adjacent to the Delta hotel and found the food, service, and view an enjoyable cap to a lovely day. The next morning we hopped on the convenient free shuttle for a short ride to the airport and headed home. I will definitely plan to stay at this hotel again when traveling through Vancouver. Reception was quick and friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. We needed a ride to the airport and had just missed the scheduled shuttle run so the hotel staff made a special shuttle run for us so we wouldn't be late. Very nice!

The room was was very large with a good view. The airconditoning was a bit loud for my ears and a bit cold but the fan and the temp could not be regulated by the thermostat as far as I could tell. Very good buffet breakfast, Good restaurant adjacent to the hotel and also one in the hotel. Would stay again on next trip to Vancouver

We were really hesitant to book online...not having any idea what kind of hotel we would be getting. Wow! Convenient free shuttle to the airport, runniing early in the morning for our flight. An excellent seafood restaurant a short walk across the bridge. Even a room with a view. Highly recommended.

The Delta Vancouver is a nice hotel to stay at if staying near the airport. The room I had was clean, comfortable, and reasonably large. One you figure out the entrance/exit routes, it's well positioned both for getting back to the airport or travelling into Vancouver. It was excellent as usual. We spent two nights and opted for the signature service as we had a forced layover and needed the late check out. The Signature Lounge is a nice touch with a nice appy buffet in the evening and a decent continental breakfast buffet. There is always plenty of free water, pop, juice and fruit etc. available throughout the day.as […] well as a computer terminal and newspapers. There is also computer access with a printer at the porters desk where you can print your boarding passes. I always stay here when travelling through Vancouver airport with an over night as there is 24 hour dedicated shuttle service every 20 mins and it is t he closest hotel to the airport other than the much higher priced one in the airport. There isn't either traffic or plane noise and the staff are always friendly. The restaurant, Pier 73, has a nice setting over the water and serves excellent food. Reasonable price/quality ratio. Excellent location, Pier 73 restaurant lovely on the water, pool was unexpected bonus. Room had no functioning air, had to change. Rooms look pretty tired and basic. But this was just fine for a 1 night stay en route home from Asia

The staff was friendly and helpful. I had THE best waitress at breakfast. The only drawback was the space in the bathroom - the toilet was squeezed between the shower and sink area so it was very tight. Someone larger would have a hard time.
