The Provincial suites are really roomy and provide a king, a sleeper queen and single bed which is great for a family. Room was not vacuumed--crumbs on the floor. Water slide was under maintenance and the entire pool room had a distinct putrid smell during the construction. The exercise machines were all broken--chains would give out. I almost twisted a knee trying to use the machine. The "attendant" did not even try to warm the visitors. When I commented on the dangerous […] condition of the machines, the attendant flippantly stated that I could ask the front desk to see if I could obtain a pass to the Steve Nash facility next door. I checked out after one night rather than stay the second night. I would recommend the Hilton or Marriott if staying in Richmond. Read more

We checked in late and the room reserved for us was not even checked, the air conditioned was not working @ all. After checking in we went out and came back late in the night and did not know until were about to go to bed. Maintenance came in to check it but it was not working. So we have to transfer to another room around past 11pm. The second room […] that were in,the toilet bowl was not stable,as if you will fall or water will come out from the toilet bowl whenever you pee or pooh. Nothing given except for apology. The room did not have proper air ventilation. The temperature control did not work. The first night was too cold and began to make noise in the early morning that woke me up. After reporting the problem in the morning, it was fixed and the noise was gone. But, only warm air came out even setting the temperature to low and set the cold air button. We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It is very conveniently located if you fly in, and getting to any place in the Vancouver area is easy - assuming you have a car. The rooms are comfortable, though the property is large, so you may have to walk quite a ways to your car. Dining choices nearby are largely limited to the hotel's own, which include a pricy […] steakhouse and a Denny's. The Richmond night market nearby is a great experience. Read more

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at your hotel. We enjoyed the indoor pool and water slide as well as the outdoor pool. Both restaurants connected to the hotel made meals very convenient The General Manager of the hotel happened to be in the lobby when I was about to request a later check out time. We had a very pleasant 2day stay. Our only confusion was showing up at the Sandman hotel vs the Sandman Signature hotel as they are both on the same street. The staff was nice, the room and hotel were nice. My children loved having an option of indoor or outdoor pool and loved the water slide.

This is a great hotel in a good location. The rooms were clean and smelled good, the pool and water-slide was a blast for my kids. I would stay here again.

Front desk at check-in was friendly and efficient. The lobby coffee shop left much to be desired (dark, poor hours, poor selection, poor service). I felt as though I was in an isolated wing of the hotel, never seeing another guest in 3 days. The housekeeper was friendly (always a smile), helpful (replaced batteries in TV remote), honest (double-checked […] to be sure money left in room was a gratuity), and very appreciative (thanked me for gratuity). The Sandman Signature Hotel was as expected - nothing special but adequate. The information we read on line stated we would receive a "complimentary breakfast". This was not the case.

spent 4 nights in hotel. Hotel looked run down. Did not look very busy. Room looked tired and had seen better days. Experience was average and I expected more.

Airport shuttle was just a call away at midnight. Rooms were ready when we arrived at hotel. Sandman arranged for a seperate shuttle to take us to the Vancouver pier for cruise departure. Excellent place to stay, very nice accomodations.

Nice clean room, very comfortable beds, flat screen tv, balcony. Nice little extras were....the clock radio showed the time time on the wall or ceiling, a bed lamp over each side of the bed with an individual reading lamp attached. The Chop restaurant serves an excellent steak, the hotel service and room were great. Just don't leave anything behind. […] I left some stuff behind and when I called to have them ship it to me and charge it to my credit card, they said that they didn't do that and that I had to call a courier to come pick up the stuff. Very pleased with the Sandman Signature. Nice staff, clean room, good location to the airport. Two restaurants on site and close by...both very good. Only thing missing was an exhaust fan in the bathroom!

I was greatly disappointed by my hotel. When we checked in, the lady tried to give me less of a room than I reserved. Upon entering the room, I was overwhelmed by a strange smell. Even when I open the window all the way, it did not help eliminate the odor. The whole room especially the bathroom smelled like an old wet rag. In addition, there is no fan […] in the bathroom. Stayed for one night en route to Toronto. We were impressed with the quality of the the hotel. Comfy beds in a spacious room. Hotel is beautifully kept and luxurious. Being 50+ we found the bar music not to our taste having a young atmosphere. The Cucumber Cafe was good with a selection of special teas with a novelty twist. Generally, everything I need in a hotel, good service and good quality food/ drink etc. Great place to have meetings. Very personable Sales Manager and team.Specifically, and if some improvements may be made, Denny's is a bit of a let down, doesnt fit the rest of the hotel. We were just there for one night but easily upgraded for small price to bed sofa, single bed and king bed for two adult sons and ourselves, beautiful hotel and room, very impressed with everything. the only small issue I might mention is the king size bed had a large heavy duvet/bedspread and a sheet, nothing in between like a blanket or medium covering […] so you were either overheated or cold. The hotel was nice overall, but my shower was scalding hot, no cold water at all, had to bathe and wash my hair in the sink. I thought the maid should have noticed if she had cleaned the tub, which looked clean.

The hotel was very nice with great immensities, but everything was in a state of disrepair! I got stuck on the elevator, had to force the doors to open and when I told another guest he said it had been like that the day before too. The bathroom door knob wouldn't lock and was loose, the vending machines weren't stocked and wouldn't work on two floors. […] But the airport shuttle and parking were a great bonus. Read more

Great hotel. We were impressed. We also had dinner in the dining room and we were very pleased with service and food.

Pretty nice hotel but I booked it for the water slide and the stairs to the top were closed for repair. The kids were dissapointed, we didn't even try the pool.

Hotel was close to sights we wanted to see .. easy to get around and quiet considering it is next to the airport.

clean, class and conv. one thing in balcony "spider net" some clean up required. otherwise, I like it very much.

I will start by saying that I like this hotel, the rooms are clean, the linens are fresh, the location is close to the airport and major highways, they offer $7.50 off breakfast at the attached Denny's, there is a Chop steak-house and lots of parking. What I don't like is the elevators require a room key to access all guest floors, and as often happens […] the keys need to be reprogrammed regularly. After checking in, I went out to buy some snacks, when I returned my key would not work, so I had to wait in a line-up at the front desk for 15-20 minutes just to access the elevator to get upstairs to my room, when I got upstairs my wife advised me that the same thing happened to her after using the pool, so she had to stand and wait in the busy lobby in her bathing suit, she wasn't very happy :( other than that this is a good hotel. We booked this hotel because it provides free hi-speed internet for us, but as our room is at the corner, the wireless signal is very weak. Therefore, we want to use the wired internet. Unfortunately, the wired internet of our room was not working, even though the hotel did ask their technician to try to fix it, he failed. We ask the front desk staff […] to help us to fix the internet problem everyday during our stay, but they told us that they were unable to fix the internet problem, both wired and wireless. The front desk staff further emphasized that they could not change a room for us. The front desk staff did not want to help us and impolite. Their response made me feel that I was a a trouble guest. Loved the bed. I slept fantastic and for that alone I'd go back. Our room was ground level facing the pool and surrounded by flowers in the gardens. I loved looking out the window. There was a lot of noise from planes and closing hall way fire doors but honestly the bed was so comfy that once I was in I fell asleep so quickly and slept so well that […] I didnt hear a sound! Airport shuttle was handy but the female driver was crazy kinda but we got to our hotel quick and once we tipped her she offered handy information. Wel walked to the Canada line station and it was a fine walk on a sunny day. Otherwise we had planned to take the shuttle to the airport and catch the train from there. Also the bathrooms were spacious so that was nice. I would just like some patio furniture or something outside of the provincial suites. Loved the decor in the lobby but please PLEASE PLEASE get better vending machines. BE WARNED bring your own snacks or hit up a convenience store the vending machines are pitiful!!' Read more

Service of check-in was lacklustre and not exactly hospitable. Service shuttle to airport was steady and excellent to also ease the trip downtown via the skytrain, however the highly'acclaimed poolslide was under maintance and the in- and outside pools were not exactly well-maintained nor very clean. 酒店服务人员态度良好，但是入住慢，要等很长的时间。酒店的清洁总是无法一次放齐所备物品，洗头水、饮用水等常常忘了配备。交通不是很方便，如果不驾车的话。床及床上用品不错。
