Celebrity visitors enjoy high-rolling entertainment in clubs and casinos along the famous Croisette promenade with its ornate seafront hotels. The graceless Palais des Festivals is the main venue for award ceremonies. Cannes has few sights, but its medieval castle houses an interesting ethnographic museum. Local beaches are bottle blondes of imported sand.

An excellent hotel, with nice size rooms (for France), polite friendly service, excellent concierge services with great dinner recommendations. Our only complaint was that we were unable to get into the restaurant on-site (its two-star rating made advance planning essential.)

The hotel was nice and the staff friendly. They actively sought to please. People booking this hotel because of the spa should be aware that while the spa is nice and services offered great, there is really no relaxation room for in between or after treatments which was a bit of a disappointment considering the price. Also the rooms do not have irons in order to generate business for the laundry service. You have to ask your room attendant for one specifically.

I reserved a king size oceanfront suite in the main building of the caravelle resort. When we arrived they were booked out and we ended up in a run down room in the old portion of the hotel that had no ocean view. I was reserved in the building that has an indoor pool and hot tub, the building that we were put in had a very dirty run down indoor pool.

Sinon hotel a recommander.
