I love this hotel as you can see I have booked 4 visits there. I love the location: next to Marina and the Cultural Center, next to a mall, easy access to MRT. Great lobby. Many Starbucks nearby. Just discovered that the concert hall for SISTIC concert is walking distance. Very friendly staff at the reception floor. What a wonderful location

There for a week, great place and excellent location. You can get decent, much cheaper meals in the Marina Square Mall and across the street (Japanese, Italian, Swedish ((of all things), etc.). The hotel's coffee was not so good. Otherwise it was great.

Staff was very friendly and hotel was close to restaurants and shops. The room was quite spacious for an Asian room. The only negative was jack hammering noise at 12 midnight on Saturday night due to construction work across the street. Hard to sleep with that noise.

My wife and I love the Marina Mandarin. We recently spent 9 nights and had a wonderful time. The staff is very professional with lots of smiles and great service. We had asked for a room on the bay side on an upper floor and were shown to our beautiful room on the 15th foor with a magnificent view. The room shows a little wear and tear but was just […] great. The Hotel is an open air atrium with floor to ceiling views, singing birds and great piano playing singers in the evening. The Concierges were always helpful with planning our next sight-seeing adventure and our dinning expierences. They really worked hard for us. The food in the Hotel is very expensive so we only ate there a couple times. The Blossom Room is excellent. We preferred the Hawkers (street venders) for local color and great food. After spending lots of time seeing Singapore everyday, we always made time to take a very refreshing dip in the pool. The pool is huge, clean and serves food or drinks all day. Hotel was excellent. Great location, room was great especially the shower. The staff were great, very helpful. I had a late afternoon flight and they were able to arrange a late check out to save me sitting at the airport for several extra hours. I will stay here next time I am in Singapore.

Location is great! It is closed to MRT, Espanade theater, Marina Bay Sands, and surrounding plenty restaurants. The size of the room is quite big than most average hotels in Singapore. The only thing I found, the toilet holder in my bathroom came out from the wall!

The level of customer service from ALL the staff at this hotel is really heart warming, especially from the men & women who attend to guests at the Meritus Lounge and Floors. The bathroom was not very clean. There were some pieces of toilet paper lying on the floor, apparently the room was cleaned very heastily. The amount of bath foam wasn't enough, so I tried to call housekeeping to receive another (small) bottle. That is, I tried, as no one picked up even though I called several times. So I called the "express service […] desk" where I could finally state my request. After waiting for 15min, I called again, telling the lady on the line that I've already called before about the bath foam. She then asked me "Could you repeat your request?". So apparently she didn't understand what I wanted when I called the first time, and didn't bother to confirm! After waiting another 10min, I called a 3rd time, asking what on earth was taking them so long and threatening to contact the management if they kept me waiting much longer. And 2min later, housekeeping knocked on my door, bringing me... a BAR OF SOAP, even though I specifically told them twice that we needed a bottle of bath foam!! I was on 15th floor and due to the atrium style of the building I could hear the pianos and singing downstairs each night until it finished at about 11pm. During the day it is fake bird noises and nearby construction...All of this is bearable but could be annoying if you are wanting a quiet hotel or day by the pool. The internet is over $20 PER CONNECTED […] DEVICE that is a rip-off....they give you 6 hours a day for free but for business traveller this will not be enough. Cafe Latte in the hotel is $12. Location is great. Easy access from Airport. Connected to multiple malls. The malls had many restaurants, shopping, movies, and even MRT even though I never took the subway--it was next to hotel. Doorman was always helpful in getting taxis.

If this was a 3 star hotel I would have rated it as excellent , however it is not what it is billed to be, the rooms are a little old school, the restaurants close very early, the food is pretty average, all in all for the money I spent not worth the expense.

Good location and amazing atrium lobby BUT no proper health club, so no facilities that one would expect in a 5* hotel, ie steam/sauna etc, UNLESS you are willing to pay 25S$ + in order to use the sauna of the in-house health club! also 2 S$+ to print out each page in black and white from an email makes "checking in online" cost at least 10 S$ (£5) […] by the time one has paid for the minimum time in the business centre + the print out!. I find it kinda annoying for such a fine 4 star hotel to have the customer (us) to call in every day for a password to use the "Wifi". And the "Wifi" usage is only LIMITED to ONE electronic equipment per usage in addition to LIMITED 10 hour usages. Once you have pass […] 10 hours the hotel will charge a fee. What you get at this hotel is basic. Standard comfort, standard everything... but the service is less than standard. A long, snaking line-up just to check-in and check-out! Took me over an hour to check-in and 25 mins to check out! I called for help with my TV and was left with a busted remote control - had to really press hard to channel up.
