Marina Mandarin - Singapore 1.2922, 103.85731

The Marina Mandarin is a very well presented Hotel with excellent service and appearance. The foyer is outstanding and the overall impression is of a 5 starr Hotel. Minor problems were - slow response to room service request, mistakes in room service delivery and room cleaning not 100% perfect. Otherwise this was a fabulous hotel to stay in and handy for the Singapore Flyer and Marina areas. I would definitely stay here again.

I was at Marina Mandarin just after F1, excellent service. I also loved the outdoor pool. Only problem was VERY expensive hotel food. S$ 15 for iced tea, with no refill.

This hotel is immaculately maintained, and outstandingly appointed. Without the ostentatious frippery that some luxury hotels bother you with. Spacious room; comfortable bed; adequate desk; spotless bathroom. Staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful at all times. Excellent buffet breakfast. Location very near Suntec Convention Center, and the waterfront. This is the best hotel stay I have recently had, made possible for me by a special hotels.com price.

Can't say enough about the service at the Marina Mandarin. We travel a lot and stay in some top notch hotels, but the service here was second to none...and at a great price. The staff was extremely helpful with advice on local sights and exceeded every request we made by going the extra mile to get information and make arrangements for us. Booking on the Meritus Club level was definitely worth it. We checked out all the other nearby hotels and were really glad we picked the one we did. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic hotel great location so easy to get around Singapore, the staff were so helpful and friendly. We had an excellent deal upgrading to club lounge if we go back to Singapore would definitely stay there again

This was my 4th visit to Singapore and my first stay at Marina Mandarin. 5 Stars all the way--from the personal greeting on arrival to the lovely room and spectacular view of the city to the overall beauty of the property and professionalism of the staff. This is where I will be staying on future trips to Singapore.

The room was comfortable and roomy with all amenities in addition to a nice balcony. The hotel is beautiful on the inside enticing a relaxing cocktail in the lounge. The location was convenient to much of interest. I would definitely stay there again. The service was prompt and polite in every regard. I especially liked the birds singing on the 5th floor.

The only problem we encountered was noise outside from the bars, only if you stay in city view room. The hotel was incredible.

Check in very swift, and from there only got better. In a good location, walking distance to Little India via some great shopping areas. Suuntec mall opposite hotel, with walk way to get round. All in all 10/10 and I will use the hotel again on my next trip to Singapore. Thanks

What a hotel! Was bowled over by the size and space of it. The room was very elegantly decorated and supplied everything you could need,toothbrushes, toothpaste,LCD tv, iron, ironing board. Space for luggage,good lighting which i think is important if working on your computer and also for make-up application. sweets were left on the bed each evening and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Food was plentiful and of excellent quality with lots of choice. All in all this was one hotel i would give my eye teeth to return to.

This was our second stay at the Marina Mandarin and each was excellent. Everything was perfect with the minor exception that we arrived in the late evening for dinner at one of the restaurants and felt slightly rushed to finish the meal before closing. We also thought that the price of a bottle of wine was exhorbitant (somewhere around 120 dollars) and therefore refrained! Other than these issues we were very happy with what was on offer and would visit again.

Stayed for 5 nights for a leisure break. Fabulous city to explore and this hotel is well placed for both business and leisure. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff could not have been more helpful - if anything they might be accused of being too attentive. Nice pool area for relaxation and poolside drinks and bar meals were quite reasonable with an OK selection. Did not eat in the hotel for any main meals as the prices were quite expensive and other guests commented on the fact that the food quality did not match the price that they were paying. However, it is not a big problem as there are many places right on the doorstep where you can eat. Lots of coffee shops in the adjacent Marina shopping mall where you can get breakfast cheaply. Dinner is not a problem as there are really good restaurants at Boat Quay or Clarke Quay - only a sort taxi ride away and about 10 dollars fare. I would definitely return to this hotel when I go back to Singapore.

Business Center: Use the computers to log-on to the web to check office e-mails. Privacy and Security are important to me and find it disappointing that the machines did not have the latest security patch and virus scan updates. It is oblivious that the regular maintenance is lacking. Layout of the Room: Need a little improvement. The room has a balcony but the opening of the sliding door is located at the side rather than the middle. This is usually not the problem except that the door is blocked by both a lamp and a sofa seat. So in order to access the balcony, everything has to be push aside. Atmosphere: In the morning the hotel places caged song birds along the corridors of one of the floor. The guests wake up in the morning with the sound of birds singing. This is great and all but somehow this bothers me, I love to hear them sing but I don’t like seeing them in a small birdcage. Staffs: Courteous but not very helpful. It seems that they are trained on same scripts but couldn’t expand beyond that.

The hotel is in a great location - connected to several malls and within walking distance to the MRT! You can walk through the shopping malls to the City Hall station.

High quality, nice rooms, beautiful restauriants and bars. However do not order drinks at the swiming pool! One small LOCAL beer costs $15 !!!!!!!!!!!! (it costs $1.50 at supermarket!!!) Otherwise the hotel is excellent! I recomend it to all my friends I'll use it in the future Alex

Superb hotel, efficient friendly staff. Room spotless and very comfortable, if shower a little cramped. Great location for exploring Singapore. as one would expect in a 4+ star hotel eating and drinking very expensive but did not detract from our stay. We will return on our next visit.

Had a great stay there - arrived at 7am in the morning after a flight from the UK and, to my surprise, was able to check in straight away. Offered a late check out at 2pm the following day all without extra charge... very friendly staff and everything worked. Can certainly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. They had a string quartet playing in the hotel lobby in the evening who were fabulous. It was tactfully decorated and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was entirely overpriced so I would avoid breakfast.

This is a great hotel to stay, nice views, connect to a lot of malls without going out door, friendly staff, cash your $$ at the front desk anytime. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel is located next to a massive shopping center and the MRT (underground train) which means you don't have to move outside where the heat can be unbearable. The hotel is huge, but you don't get the feeling of being one of the masses. The staff is friendly and helpful (maybe a little too friendly which keeps a distance between the staff and the guests) but this makes it a bit too formal for my taste. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff very smily and again helpful. Just love the place and everything is within a short walking distance.

the service has been by far the best that have seen and as for the hotel you get more than what you pay for. as for the location of the hotel you can do whatever you want and not really leave anywhere far from where you are staying. service from the hotel is above and beond the next time i show up in Singapore i will book my room there with out a doubt.

We stayed at the Marina Mandarin for 2 nights in late September (just before the Grand Prix). it was exceptional in every sense although getting a taxi was a pain as the roads were closed due to the Grand Prix. The hotel did organise a taxi service from the hotel but at twice the standard price. Apart from that the staff were very helpful and the service exceptional. From the second we arrived at the hotel the staff were there to take our luggage and walk us to the reception. Everyone was very helpful for information from where to eat at late hours for a local meal to public transport. I highly reccommend this hotel and would expect it to be up to the 4 star standard given the price.

Marina Mandarin is in a great location for shopping, getting around, and eating. It's mainly a business hotel so it's quiet and well run. Try to get the full breakfast included, and then it's a really good deal!

Service was fantastic, room beautiful clean and comforatable. They went above and beyond to assure our stay was wonderful. At the time we were there they had added security due to special guests staying there. It was well run and did not inconvience us in any way. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Stayed 2 nights in august on way back from New Zealand Hotel were extremely helpful in trying to locate camera equipment we had lost by phoning both airport and airline nothing was to much bother Would recommend any body to stay Will use again

We stayed at the Marina Mandarin for 3 nights and fount it to be an exceedingly good hotel; the staff were so friendly and were only too happy to help on the many occasions when we requested it, our room was most comfortable and the hotel itself was simply beautiful. Singapore itself is a lovely place to visit with much to see and do, and a high standard of cleanliness and a low rate of crime - we didn't see one poilce officer out there! Should we ever go back to Singapore, we will most definitely stay at this hotel again.

I arrived very late in Singapore after delayed flights and was therefore doubly appreciative of the welcome I received from the hotel staff: bags were taken as I emerged from my taxi (and then delivered to my room within 5 minutes!), the check-in was quick and efficient and the room was clean and comfortable - the only annoyance being that it had two single beds rather than the double i'd requested. There was both a shower and bath in the room, fabulous large flat-screen TV and complimentary bottled water. The hotel interior is spectacular and the bars/restaurants are all excellent and surprisingly good value. The only disappointment is the leisure facilities: the gym is a very small room (though every wall is covered with mirrors to try and disguise this!) and there's a single outdoor pool with fairly basic changing facilities. Location is excellent - within easy walk of MRT stations and the city centre.

I only stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for a short holiday but for the same rate as a 3 star in England the Marina Mandarin really does give you that 5 star treatment. A really nice pool, great transport links and brilliant views from the balcony, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Singapore. (Just watch out for the stuck up people)

This is a very nice hotel, architecturally speaking. It is obviously clean and is quite impressive on the inside.It's in a convenient location. And now the bad things: We had booked a king size bed and when we arrived at 00:30 am, after a long trip, we found out that we were given a two single bed room. It is true that this may sometimes happen, BUT: 1)We were not told in the reception but we only found out when we got in the room. Shouldn't we have been informed? 2)As we were really tired and quite honestly, I did not wish to waste time going all the way back to the reception and requesting a change, I only mentionned it to the reception staff next day, saying that I would appreciate it at least I was informed when we checked in. I did not make any request, I just politely pointed out something which I did not appreciate. The bad thing is that, for some unconceivable reason, my comment was not appreciated either, as the lady in the reception kept on interrupting me (!) and saying that since in any case the two single beds were united, there should not be a problem, and that, if we wanted a king size bed that much, they would try to give it to us next time. It is not what the lady said, it was the way that she was speaking. I would never go there again, not even for free

I stayed one night at Marina Maderin. The staff was very friendly and helpsome. I checked in and got an upgrade. The lobby, the bar and the room was perfect for my trip. I had a nice view to the city / habour site. The hotel has a nice pool area with a very service minded pool guy - here you can forget the big city rush and relax for a while. The bar prices was a bit expensive (U$15 for a standard beer) I would highly recommand this hotel, both for pleasure and business.

Ett hotell som vida översteg våra förväntningar både vad gäller kvalitet på service och rumsstandard till en i sammanhanget mycket blygsam kostnad. En härlig pool och välutrustat gym samt samt rikligt frukostbord. Vi är vana resenärer och detta tillhör definitivt ett av de 5 bästa hotellen vi bott på.

Went smooth from entry to exit, you get all you could ask for!

Supert hotell med alt en kan tenke seg. Vi hadde rom i toppetasjen. Litt dyrt men verdt hver krone da ting som frokost, kveldsdrinker i egen klubb (med fingermat) og internett tilgang var inkludert. Topp beliggenhet i forhold til mange severdigheter. Ca 10 min å gå til t-bane.
