We had the most wonderful time at Hotel Tremezzo. Not only was the hotel beautiful and well kept, the staff were beyond helpful, friendly & service oriented. We arrived at 9:30 pm on a snowy Sunday night after 24 hours + of travel. They welcomed us and made sure we had dinner and upgraded our room. We had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant. I loved staying at this hotel. Although I was a solo traveller - and be warned - ALL others staying at the hotel are principally couples - I had the most wonderful stay. The hotel gardens are gorgeous, there are many pools - although if you're staying out of season the heated pool inside is best and looks over the mountains on the opposite side of the […] lake. The room was light, with a beautiful garden view. They had a pizza night on one of the evenings in the garden, breakfast was vast and extremely delicious. The gym facilities are quite small (only one treadmill) but feasible. I ran around the lake during my stay and the hotel staff were very friendly when I went off for runs. They were also good with restaurant recommendations. Surrounding little cafes are good to eat at. Excellent and would go back. The only downside was a horrible hot stone massage I received, however upon complaining the spa manager herself provided one to make up for it which I was grateful for. This was excellent service. This was an AMAZING hotel. Absolutely amazing! The "water in the water" pool was fabulous (although freezing!). Top end hotel, our room a newly decorated was OK'ish, a bit on the small side compared to other luxery rooms, but everything one needed was in the room..view from room over the lake was fantastic. The parking/bellboys was very helpfull and polite, service with a smile. Will return.

Grand Hotel Tremezzo was simply AMAZING. The staff was top notch, the dinner amazing, and the views some of the best in the world. It's become one of my favorite hotels in all of Italy (and yes, I've stayed at the Villa d'este). Over all , one of the nicest places we have stayed. We booked the least expensive room on Hotels.com and got a lovely room on the garden (non lake) side, which we preferred as it was very quiet (no traffic from lakeside road). Lovely hotel in a very quiet location. We stayed in one of the rooftop suites, which we're amazing. Spa i great to unwind and the indoor pool offers great views of the lake. Grand Hotel Tremezzo is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms with awesome views. It dates from around 1910 and its obvious that it was built to host the rich and powerful of the day. It is immaculately maintained with modern touches. The views from the dining area are helped by the fact that it, as well as the lobby area, is on the third floor, […] (over the spa and car park). The place is run like clockwork by the very friendly and efficient staff, including the facilities which include 3 outdoor pools, plus one in the spa complex, a neatly manicured garden with tennis courts at the rear. Breakfast and dinner are served on the Out front the main pool floats in Lake Como itself in front of the sun deck (across the main road, but there is always a staff member on hand to stop traffic!) Passing ferries and private boats routinely slow down to allow their passengers to photograph the hotel such is its appearance. Grand Hotel Tremezzo is well sited on Lake Como with the the lovely seaside town of Bellagio across the water (reachable by frequent boats). The hotel itself is a delight and lives up to its name as a Grand Hotel. Very spacious and beautifully ornate common rooms The facilties are excellent apart from the parking which is in short supply and requires […] deft manoeuvring by the concierge staff. We were wary about previous reports of old-style bath and WC facilties, but we can report that our room was excellently decked out;; helped by the fact the hotel upgraded us (without extra charge) to the Presidential suite which included a walk-in shower and jacuzzi bath. The hotel has delightful gardens at the rear. Other plus points are the excellent terrazza ristorante - ala carte but a very reasonable menu di giorno at 52 euro (excl wine etc) . Staff were very efficient and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Much to see at Tremezzo (inc Villa Carlotta 200 yds away) and Bellagio; Well worth a visit. There is a busy road in front of the hotel which can be difficult to cross due to the raod traffic, but worth it as there is a delightful open air pool on the lake with deckchair laden terrrace on other side. Much depends on the weather. Not a lot to do if wet, but fabulous when the sun shines. Read more

O hotel tem um barco com um piloto simpatícissimo Diego, que por 200 euros faz passeio no lago durante mais de uma hora. Vale muito mais à pena do que pagar 30 por pessoa nos barcos grandes de turismo. O restaurante do hotel é excelente, tem estacionamento e wi fi excelente, free, no quarto. Vale à pena visitar Bellagio, Menagio e se possível fazer o passeio de hidroavião que se pega em Como e por 250 euros voa-se durante 45 minutos sobre os lagos de Como e de Lugano.
