This hotel was in a perfect location right at a bus stop. The room was a bit small for American standards (no place to do yoga) but it was comfy. I stayed for a week and the staff was always cleaning the building. It was such a nice environment! The food was really good and the chef was always around.

Overall our stay was great, the room was comfortable and the staff very helpful, The only downsides for me - I wish the bar area food had not been quite so expensive (over 60 pounds for a burger, baked potato, childrens meal and 2 drinks) also when we checked in around 4pm we requested a cot for our daughter, we had to call back twice before it finally arrived around 7:30.

We had a wonderful time at Staden Grange. The atmosphere is relaxing with excellent hosts and terrific breakfast options that include a local flair (e.g., the oatcake). The rooms had everything we needed and then some, including a tea kettle, slippers, etc. You'll likely need a car or be willing to walk a mile or so into Buxton to stay here, but otherwise, we absolutely loved our stay.

Room sizes were large by Euro standards. Dated furniture and carpets in lobby and rooms. Immediate location was quite boring, but only £8 cab from main... Picadilly Station and across the street from nearest tram. Also less than £10 cab from Old Trafford. Still very easy to get to anywhere in the city for bars, restaurants, shopping. This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location. Close to the Roman ruins and the Museum of Industry. Also nearby is Piccadily station where you can access the trains to the airport or the rest of Britain as well as trams taking you throughout the city. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well.

Worst night sleep I've had in a long time, awoken at 5.30 by noise from the next room which went on for an hour. Tried to ring reception for ear plugs, no answer. When I eventually got back to sleep was distrubed at 9.30 by the maid trying to come in even though check out wasn't until 12.00. asked for a room change as i had requested a room with a bath, and got a shower, this was rectified very quickly and actually got a better room, very clean and spacious, only complaint is that the maid decided to let herself in the room at 8.30 am never had that before especially when checkout not till 12, reception did apologise

I was sooo grateful to Jurys for allowing an early check in as I was up all night and had caught an early flight to Manchester. That certainly was a plus but unfortunately the room was FREEZING! (room 117!) I managed the heat system but the room never seemed to warm up despite feeling the heat! It is a weird shaped room and the light switch for the […] loo is around the corner...... Im not really describing it well but if you were in this room before , you would know what I mean. Breakfast was lovely and they catered well with the masses on a sun morning. Location great. Hotel quiet at night apart from the spat outside my window in the early hours which had nothing to do with residents just people passing by! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Clean room with comfortable bed. Only issue was the light in the original room I booked into was not working but I was immediatley offered a different room which turned out to be much better so no compaints there! Didn't try the breakfast as thought it was too expensive - had an excellent one in a coffee bar […] for a fraction of the price. All in all a good stopover location. Read more

Hotel was perfectly positioned for accessing the "Rainbar" where we were attending a social event. Also found cheap 24hour NCP parking within 300 Mtrs of the hotel. All the amenities you need and a quiet comfortable room.

Booked at quite a cheap price, expecting a basic stay. Was shocked at the quality of the rooms, cleanliness, and overall look of the hotel. Everything seems new inside, and has a very good location to Deansgate

I've stayed here previously and had no problems. This time everything was fine as usual, but my room was freezing, no matter what I tried adjusting on the room controller. I didn't have time in the morning to discuss this with hotel staff, but I would be wary of staying there again in the winter.

I stayed at the hotel as I was going out with my friends in the city. The hotel was very clean and tidy, my room was comfortable, modern and had great views over the canal. It had everything that I needed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a great location and was good value for money.

The room was pretty standard, had everything you would expect from a Jurys. Excellent breakfast. There was a long line at check in, they could have had a few more staff on to help.The location is good very handy for castlefield.

Staff could not be more helpful Both receptionists were polite and they had kept a disabled car parking space for my husband Our room was clean and very comfortable Our breakfast deserved 5 stars and again staff were so pleasant We will definitely return to Jurys in Manchester

Stayed 22/12/12 Fab hotel. Room v. small (compared to previous stay) & no view, I think this was because of the cheap price through hotels.com. But couldn't fault the room or hotel. Location great 8min walk (in the rain) from the train station. Checked us in early as arrived at 9.40am, dumped the bags and headed for the xmas markets, another 8min walk […] (in the rain), spend all day round the markets and had the compulsory wurst & german beer, great atmosphere. Wagamamas for tea, 12min walk from hotel, then off to see the Lion King, theatre 8min walk from hotel. Small double bed, my hubbie & I wrestled for space. Nice buffet breakfast, had almost everything you could want, would have liked better fresh fruit selection and continental cheese and meats, but obv. not much call for it. Read more

My family stayed overnight for a match at Old Trafford. Jurys Inn was reasonably priced and the location was excellent. The buffet breakfast was of an excellent quality and had plenty of choices on offer. The rooms were tidy and quiet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing a short stay in Manchester. No complaints!
