Great hotel and a nice neighborhood. Stores, restaurants, and pubs within a block or two. Very popular with tour groups so you will see lots of guests come and go. Breakfast is wonderful. Eggs, bacon, juice, cereals, fresh fruit, fruit trays, ham, cheese, breads, coffee, tea, etc. This was our main meal of the day. Bus 64 stops about two blocks away and offers easy transportation into the city center and the train station. The hotel offers wireless but it is provided by a third party for 10Euros an hour or 17Euros a day. Not worth it. Some restaurants and pubs within two blocks offer free WiFi and I did my email while eating and drinking coffee. The hotel lists wireless for a fee... The staff is very helpful and arranged a reservation for the Borghese Museum without charging for the service. Overall I would easily recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome.

They had a huge buffet-style breakfast and it was pretty picked through when we got there halfway through the time frame it was offered. Dirty plates and pretty bad service there. Very close to the Vatican if that's what you're interested in seeing, but not a very exciting neighborhood in the immediate area around the hotel. The hotel is located very close to the Vatican. If you walk through the square and up a couple of blocks there is a subway station that allows you access to the sites in Rome. There is a small pizzeria just up the road from the hotel that is outstanding. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel and the room. This hotel was perfect for our needs. We stayed in 4 different cities in Italy and this hotel had, by far, the most spacious rooms. We rented the room with 2 queen beds. They were very comfortable, there was a large bathroom and plenty of space in the room itself. The hotel was very quiet at night as was the surrounding neighborhood. It's within walking distance to St. Peters Basilica (2 minute walk), Vatican City (10 minute walk) and other sites. There is an AMAZING gelato place around the corner called Capitan Cono...you MUST go! The staff was friendly, one employee was a little less on the cheerful side, but nothing that ruined our stay. The continental breakfast did not have that great of a selection, but that was expected. The No. 64 bus is right around the corner which takes you to the Colosseum, The Forum, Rome Train station, etc. Very easy to get to and super convenient to be by this train. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I get the chance to experience Rome again!

The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from St. Peter's Square. If your trip is going to center around visiting the Vatican, this is the perfect location. We were able to hop out of the hotel and walk right over to St. Peter's square avoiding crowded buses, cabs (which can get pricey), etc. There are a few restaurants walking distance, decently priced. You can get onto several of the tour hop on/hop off buses from St. Peter's square so it's very easy to tour the main sites within the rest of Rome. Taxi ride to/from the train station is about 10-15 euros. You can arrange a car with the hotel to/from the airport for 47 euros, which is the same price as a cab ride to/from the airport. The room was a very nice size with great down comforters and your choice of 3 different types of pillows for comfort. Very clean, roomy, and a balcony view of the St. Peter's Dome. We would absolutely stay here again. A great price as well!!

Food from the restuarant/room service, food was generally very good, slightly pricey. Also, I'd advise not to use the mini bar, as they charge generously for beverages such as water, soda and a bill can rapidly grow.
