Very surprised how nice our stay was considering the great deal we had on our king-size bedroom. Very spacious room - you could do tumbles in the room if you were so inclined. Neat and modern design. We stayed at the Parkhotel for 8 nights and had wonderfully attentive service from all hotel employees, especially Manon at the front desk and the Chef. The location of the Park is fantastic. It's within walking distance to many great sites in The Hague, like Noordeinde the Binnenhof, Panorama Mesdag, Escher Museum, De Passage, Lange Voorhout, The Church […] and Florencia Ijs (LOL) and it's just 2 blocks from several major tram and bus stops. I upgraded my room upon arrival and was given a beautiful, large room with an exceptionally spacious bathroom and a double balcony-what a treat! It's room 109 for anyone interested. Other people in our group stayed in standard rooms, which were nicely appointed, but smaller. I'll request a garden facing room on the 4th floor on my next stay - just for the beautiful view of the Hague rooftops. The free wireless internet was a true blessing, as most other hotels charge for it. Breakfast is somewhat expensive, but worth it-the breakfast room is gorgeous and full of light. The only thing that would have made my stay better would've been a nespresso single serve coffe maker in my room. The instant coffee provided just doesn't do justice to delicious Dutch coffee (there is a self-serve machine in the lobby, though). The lobby is a wonderful social gathering spot, great for snacks, drinks and meeting people. Read more

The hotel is very close to the major sites. Parking is available but you need a reservation ahead of time. Staff is very helpful and room is comfortable. Breakfast room is lovely but the breakfast buffet is only moderately good. The scrambled eggs could be better - often cold. Generally, enjoyed the stay there.

The Parkhotel is located in the Queen's backyard. It is also close to the Creama, which is the oldest store of it's kind in the Netherlands. Once you have visited Den Haag you will never want to go back to Amsterdam.

I'd recommend this hotel. It was in a very good location in the Center of the Hague, close to tram stops and within walking distance of a good number of attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was probably one of the quietest places I've ever stayed in. Overall, an excellent experience.

We were quite impressed with the hotel and its friendly, helpful staff. However, my adult daughter and I were travelling by ourselves and were not at all comfortable in the surrounding neighborhood as it was populated by a number of bars with drunkards milling around, even at 9 a.m.

The hotel description leads one to believe it has on-site parking. Actually, it was public parking and the garage was nowhere near the hotel, which is located on a tiny street that is closed to vehicle traffic in a neighborhood of tiny one-way streets, many of which are closed to vehicle traffic. We asked if there was any way to access the front of […] the hotel to unload our bags and were told no, which seemed hard to believe. And we were right. When checking out, a different employee told us merely to use an intercom near the street barriers and she would press a button that would lower the barriers so our car could drive down to the hotel entrance to load our bags. Too bad we had to lug a month's worth of luggage through snow and rain when we arrived. Staff also knows little about public transportation, which cost us an hour of a 24-hour visit. I stayed here for a week. The hotel is in a great location. There are plenty of great restaurants and shops practically right outside the door. The staff are very helpful and they have computer access and Wi-fi access. My only caveat is that the single rooms are very small -- basically large enough for a twin sized bed and not much else.

Warm, friendly and comfortable. No bath in our room, which was a shame. The room itself was only just large enough to get around the bed, although it was well furnished and stocked. I was only in a small single room, but it had all I needed, decent shower and air con, TV with a decent selection of channels and all the usual facilities of a 4* hotel, and quite attractive inside with its attractive, if steep staircases. Hotel located down and extremely narrow limited entry (bollards can be deactivated via reception) one way street. Hotel parking is only available if pre booked, and there is only a limited number of spaces, alternative parking is several blocks away... however, there is no prior warning of this, the staff were totally rude and completely unhelpful when […] I attempted to park my car. The 'discount' (2 Euro per 24 hours) for the alternative parking is only available if you do not move your car for a full 24 hours... so no use at all. Floors in the room were sandy and in need of a vacuum, the bed sloped to the outside edge so was not comfortable, rooms facing the street are noisy as the road is full of cafes and restaurants...and early morning seagulls. The wireless internet did not work in the room, only in the lobby. The bathroom was lovely, clean and spacious, shower and tub available in the room.
