Service here, like most japanese businesses, was very nice. They have a morning buffet in the morning for 1200en. This is very nice when it is freezing cold outside. you can see Tokyo tower from the front of the hotel. it is a nice walk to the eki station where there are tons of places to eat.

Excellent hotel. I'm 24 and decided to spend a little more on my solo vacation over a hostel or capsule hotel. It was a very wise investment. The staff is extremely polite and courteous. Virtually everyone, especially the cleaning staff, speaks enough English to help with anything you could possibly need. They also go above and beyond for service. […] I locked myself out of my room once, and the gentleman at the front desk dropped everything he was doing to let me in. I left my tablet on the plane while coming to the country, and the airport found it and sent it to the hotel. The front desk took delivery for 700 yen while I was away, so that I could pay them back when I arrived at the hotel later after my day of exploring was done. Rooms were immaculately clean. They provide all toiletries you could possibly need. Shampoo and conditioner they provide is top notch stuff, my hair has never been so soft. The bed is extremely comfortable, and they provide memory foam pillows. The rooms are compact, yet roomy. You never feel cramped. Conveniently located as well. It's right in the middle of a square made up by 4 surround Metro stations (Toranomon and Shinbashi were the most convenient). 7-11 and Lawson 100 stores were no further than 1 or 2 blocks away. Atago Shrine is right in their backyard, and Tokyo Tower is visible from their street-front. All in all, it's a wonderful hotel operated by an excellent staff and they provide much more than what they charge for. Read more

Bed size was in between twin and full, ok for one adult and a kid to sleep on. It was located about 5 minutes from a major subway station, cost under 200 yan to most spots we've visited per ride. Room was clean, but beds were not the top quality ones alone with very hard pillows. Room size was pretty good, larger than the 4Season I've stayed in Washion […] D.C. However, free wifi was only accessable at 1st floor lobby. We stayed for 4 nights and were surprised by the quality of our stay despite the relatively low prices we paid. Understanding that hotels in Tokyo would be smaller than their counterparts in North America, I would say the proximity to the center of the city and various subway stations almost completely offset the size. Very clean upon check-in, though […] the hotel maids seemed to slack off a bit during the stay. However, everything was always provided for and everything was in great condition. This is a good hotel for a few days in Tokyo. The location is so-so. Even though it's surrounded by 5 subway stations (all from 5-15 min. walk), after 7-8 pm there is almost nothing for a tourist to do there, as it is in the government buildings area. Ark Hills in Roppongi is just a 15 min walk straight west from the hotel. Also there is road construction […] going on right outside the hotel (gas pipe work) that starts at 11pm-12 am through the night. The window did an ok job of blocking out most of the noise, but ear plugs are still a must. I had a Superior Double room which was spacious, about 23 m2, with a King size bed, a small table and 2 chairs, and all the standard amenities. Internet connection was wired only but excellent (about 8 mbps). The bathroom was clean, good-sized, with good lighting. Didn't try the breakfast. The staff were polite and ready to answer any tourist-related questions. I easily got my check-out time extended to 11am. Read more

Very small rooms, but it is a common thing in Japan. Also only cable internet in rooms, so I could connect with cell phone. It is in a very centrical but quiet location. Many subway stops near by, but all of then at least 5 minute walk. The hotel is pleasant and good for the price. Near Roppongi and Shimbashi.

Customer service there was excellent! Room was clean well! Location is OK, not too far from the subway station. Breakfast served in the hotel was great! The hotel stuff helping to clean the room brought the stuff animal down to my daughter who lost her stuff animal in the room, when we had to check out going to the airport. They were amazing!!

This was the last place me and my wife hit in Tokyo. It's a bit of a walk to the JR Line (if you get a JR pass that's key) but about 10-15 min. depending how you're moving that day. There are closer non-JR lines too. Nothing is in the area, I'll get the bad out of the way 1st. It is a dead zone. So if that's a big deal, keep moving. It's 10-15 min. […] walk to Tokyo Tower and there are some coffee shops and a 7-11 within 5-10 min but nothing within the immediate few blocks. That sucks, but wasn't a big stink to us. Otherwise it's great. Big rooms (about the size of a cheap US hotel, so fair sized for Tokyo) with free internet in room and free wifi in the lobby (but if you bring a wireless router you can get wifi in the room.) Staff is nice, rooms got cleaned and they offered eco-friendly service too. Again, for late night snacking it sucks, or if you're dead tired, just nothing really close by. What I liked: location (being close to the area where I was planning to assist) even the times I missed the last train, I took a cab and the fare was the minimum or a bit more than the minimum, that's certainly a huge advantage in Tokyo. What can improve: its my 2nd time in the hotel and paid for the new wing thinking it was going to be much better than the old wing, but the rooms were almost the same, a few details in the bathroom but didnt worth it. the train station is not very close, but its not that far either, if you like walking. What I didnt like: I arrived after a 12 hour flight + 1.5 ride to the city, I asked if I could check in bcs. i was exhausted, it was around 8 am and they didnt even give me a choice, they just said "NO checkin until 3 pm" I asked can it be a bit earlier? they said an absolute "NO" even seeing how tired I was. They didnt want to exchange me 40 USD for a meal as I ran out of Yen, so they are not very customer service oriented. When I did my booking I get an additional charge for some sort of fee. The room were inexpensive, but I should have known that you get what you pay for. The reviews that I read were all good, so I took a chance. The room was actually larger than I expected. So, size wasn't the issue. However, the bathroom smelled like a public restroom and had toiletries that belonged in a Motel 6 quality room. Bedspreads were dated and […] drapes had holes that showed sunshine through them. Bed pillows smelled like cigarettes. In fact the entire hotel smelled like an ashtray. Furniture was old and institutional. Temperature was a big issue--I heard that the Japanese govt is restricting the temp that A/C can be set, but 68 degrees inside when it's 90 degrees outside is pretty unbearable. Shangri La restaurant breakfast buffet was dismal and expensive. Unfortunately, on the weekend, surrounding restaurants are closed since this is a business office area.
