Rimal Rotana - Dubai - Dubai

I have stayed at the Rimal before which is why I went back and will again. The staff is great, the location works well with my needs when I am in Dubai, and its in a more residential area so its quieter. If I HAD to make a complaint, I would personally be hard pressed to do so.

The hotel room is very nice, bed is really comfortable, room is very spacious and it has a small kitchen with cooking utensils and dishes. Nice refrigerator size. No alcohol or a bar in the hotel, so if you like a few drinks in the place you staying this it's not your place to stay. Location is not the best, located in a residential area, not too many restaurants in the area, mostly Lebanese and regional restaurants but it's located at a short taxi ride to some of the finest restaurants in the Dubai. The hotel and room itself were great. However, the area it was located was not. Everything surrounding was under construction and it was not convinient to stores or restaurants. Had to take taxis everywhere.

I never usually do "write-ups" on hotels, but in this case I thought it necessary after my stay at the Rimal Rotana. On first arrival I was met by two huge smiles at the reception and what can only be described as superbly friendly and professional staff. Stayed here whilst at Gulfood exhibition. Very clean, quiet and service great. Very helpful staff. Down side, no bar and if you are holidaying for beach, this is a fair way from the beaches, but taxis are cheap. - Convenient location witin walking distance to the metro. - Resonably priced with breakfast included. The spread of the breakfast is good too. -There's no disco or lounge in this hotel which mean that you won't be disturbed at night. - Good for family stay too.

With taxis cheap and readily available its location, while not ideal for all Dubai has to offer tourists, this means the hotel's value outweighs it positioning. For our family the spacious 2 room apartment was ideal for our needs.

In the centre of Dubai, so not ideal location if you want to get to the beach or to most of the bigger shopping malls. However, very close to the Metro (500m) to get around, and plenty of taxis. The rather tired Al Ghurair shopping mall is about 10 mins walk, and the JW Marriott hotel with some very good high-end restaurants and cafes is also close. Service at the Rimal is really excellent - all the staff very pleasant and helpful, despite the hotel being absolutely full when we were there. Finding a Hotel in Dubai when you're on a budget is a nightmare of a task simply because there are so many to choose from. Where to stay? Will it be well located? Will the Hotel be good? So many reviews online, so many mixed opinions. But when i was searching, i found that the Rimal Rotana had overall good reviews and fell within my budget too! So i […] decided to give it a try and i was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are large and clean and have good facilites. The gym and pool on the rooftop is an added bonus! The 24 hour restaurant downstairs is a blessing! Great food and service even at 3am! Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Only downside was that my room was located next to a building which had some generator or water tank or something that made noise 24 hours. This was a little disruptive to my sleep. When i asked the following day if i could change my room, i was told that there were no rooms available and that the hotel was fully booked. I'm not sure how true this was because i did not see that many people at breakfast the following morning but overall it was a good stay and i would go back again. Better than Ibis or Premier Inn for sure!!! I had asked for an airport transfer before arriving in Dubai. Hotel arranged this for me at a price of 120Dhirams. They sent a black range rover with tinted windows which was an amazing way to arrive, but on the way back i got a taxi which only cost me 20Dhirams! Read more

I had my reservations the first night when I checked in and had to wait for hours, tired, in the lobby. however, aside that the room was clean and had all the comfort. However, the TV is old and reception not clear at all. I could not get CNN or Sky news throughout my stay. Ett utmärkt hotell med bra läge till Metro, restauranger och Deira City Mall. Se bara upp för deras sk taxiservice. De erbjuder taxi utan taxameter för priser som är det tredubbla mot vad en taxi på gatan 50 m bort kostar. Bra gym och pool på taket och en underbar frukost.

Situé à 15-20 minutes en taxi de l'aéroport. Donc rapidité pour s'y rendre, mais bruit d'avion pour les oreilles sensibles pendant la nuit. Environnement OK : plutôt calme, plusieurs restaurants en face (au choix: iranien, syrien, libanais) et station de métro à 500 m (ligne rouge desservant le Dubai moderne).

hôtel très agréable, personnel très accueillant et très souriant. La suite était vraiment super, très propre, très confortable!! Et complètement insonorisée. Deira est très bien situé, le métro est à 3 min de l'hôtel. Nous avons passé un séjour féerique à Dubaï et ne regrettons vraiment pas notre choix sur l'hôtel.

L'hotel è pulito e curato, la camera spaziosa e la colazione è abbondante e continentale. Nulla a che vedere però con il "lusso" degli hotel della Dubai nuova (che costano poco più). Lo sconsiglio per la poszione: lontano da tutte le maggiori attrazioni e situato a Deira, parte vecchia di Dubai. Andare in una città come Dubai e soggiornare a Deira (che […] è l'unica parte vecchia e lontana da tutto) è davvero un controsenso. Io avevo sottovalutato questo aspetto scegliendo questo hotel. I soldi che vi fa riaparmiare li rispenderete con gli interessi per gli spostamenti. Cercate nelle vicinanze del Burj Khalifa o Dubai Mall o Mall of Emirates... sarete più centrali e raggiungerete bene qualunque posizione. Come spiaggia non perdetevi Jumeira Beach Park, ingresso circa un euro, parco, palme, spogliatoi, docce in spiaggia e mare cristallino (ma ricordate che il lunedì gli uomini non possono entrare, solo donne e bambini). Non perdetevi un bel safari nel deserto e le fontane danzanti (ogni sera alle ore 16:00 al Dubai Mall, proprio soto al grattacielo più alto del mondo). Enjoy Dubai!!!!! Read more
