The room and location were terrific. Check-in was fabulous, and the young gentleman who handled our bags gave great and friendly service. One problem: Our electrical outlets did not work and so our devices did not recharge. We could tell the people in the next room were confronting the same problem. When we call attention to it, the response was prompt, […] yet there was no apology and we were given a sense that everything was in working order. That response seemed disingenuous ...we were delighted overall by the hotel otherwise but would have liked to see them be more straight forward on the problem. Read more

This hotel is just lovely, right in the middle of Adare. You can walk to the heritage center which provides some really good local information. We had a beautiful and large room on the ground floor. The bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've experienced. There were beautiful little drawing rooms in which to read and relax in the evenings and the breakfast was simply delicious. Everything about this hotel is great. It is bright and cheery, which is helpful when it's cloudy. It is comfortable with plenty of space in the room. The staff was very helpful and even offered to give us a wake up call after we asked for an early breakfast so we could leave for Shannon. I enjoyed my stay immensely except for the wedding party roaring in the hall and the garden at 3 and 4 am on Friday and Saturday nights. The room was very comfortable and the bed linens and the bath towels were all top notch. The breakfast was very nice and I cant say enough good things about the staff. True 5 star service. I would highly recommend The Dunraven Arms Hotel on your way to or from Shannon airport. It's an easy half hour drive. The town of Adare has the typical Irish Pubs and there is a great tourist shopping area close by. Everything is withing walking distance. The rooms are big, there is no ice machines, some of the room furniture showed signs of heavy wear and tear. Staff were generally nice and the hotel gardens are the best I have ever seen for a non-luxury hotel.

This was, without doubt, the loveliest hotel we have stayed in, right in Adare Village, Ireland. It is a popular venue for weddings, 2 weddings on both days of our stay, which didnt interfere at all with our stay. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was heavenly. Very disappointed. I thought the room we stayed in needed a good renovation especially the bathroom. No tea and coffee facilities in the room you can get these on room service for 4.50 euros plus 15% surcharge. No little extras like tissues, pens, shaving mirror in the bathroom. We got a good deal on rooms at the Dunraven Arms Hotel. We would have paid twice as much. The rooms were large, airy, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room was slightly irritating and the overcrowded bar was frustrating when we were hoping for a quiet […] pre-dinner drink. The hotel serves bar food, which looked very appetising, but there is insufficient facility for this food to be consumed whilst allowing the other hotel residents to purchase and enjoy a quiet drink in the bar. Hotel either got our booking mixed up with someone else or misplaced our booking. But we were told on day we to arrive that we were not staying in hotel that night. But they did arrange to put us up in the Adare Manor Club house. Everyone else who stayed there was very happy.

We arrived early and they told us to go and have a cuppa in the bar and they would let us know when the room was ready which was after about 15 minutes. When we got to our room we were in absolute heaven. So spacious and beautiful! We ended up cancelling the next leg of our trip to stay another night. The customer service was fabulous. We ate in the restaurant one night which was supurb although a little too posh for us and we felt a bit uncomfortable. We left after our main course then had our desert brought to our room which was a treat. The second night we ate in the bar and had an amazing meal. The Guinness was flowing and the food was perfection. Buffet breakfast was not the best we've had but it was nice enough. The yoghurt and muesli was my favorite. this hotel is located in the beautiful village of Adare the room I stayed in was clean and spacious the leisure centre has a small gym with a limited amount of excerise equipment there is a good pool area. the bar area and food were good and the staff were friendly and helpful overall my stay was a pleasent one.

We stayed in the hotel for a wedding, everything was perfect. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Food was much higher quality than one would expect at a wedding. Staff were unbelievably kind and firendly at all times. The leisure centre was peaceful and relaxing. Very convenient with helpful staff, although some did struggle with English language! They were very obliging in storing our golf clubs in a Manager's room. The only downside was a rather noisy wedding on our second with guests using the garden, which our room overlooked. Finally got to sleep at 3am!
