"Enjoyed our stay"

We stayed here for one night in October 2007. It's a traditional luxury hotel in a beautiful village. Our room was comfortable but small, nice four poster bed, good sized bathroom with fast-fill bath. The decor is getting a little tired and more attention could be paid to the dusting. Breakfast was included in our rate and was really excellent - great choice of fresh fruit, juice, hot food, bread and good coffee. And the restaurant service was impeccable, especially from the locals who are clearly hospitality professionals. Finally, don't miss the heated pool and gym.

"nice hotel, bad service"

Hotel has a lot of character but the service is horrible. One morning 7 other guests and my husband and I were left outside the breakfast room, in the dark, looking for a light switch and wondering why the room was locked well past the start of breakfast and when someone finally did come they didn't even apologize. The rooms are also very loud (the walls are very thin)

My husband and I spent a night here in July. When we arrived we were met by a friendly member of staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and there was a good selection of food to dhoose from.

Nice atmosphere and sense of the old ireland. We stayed in the old part of the inn and it was very satisfactory. We had a problem in the restaurant and "John" more than exceeded our expectations in addressing the problem.

Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, while having a very nice gym and pool on site was an added bonus. The hotel is quite central to all you'd want to walk to in the very pretty village of Adare. The staff were a shade less warm and accommodating than I encountered in just about every other location in Ireland, but only by the slightest bit. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. It was really great.

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable in a very cute town. We only had a one night stay on our trip but wished we had planned another night in this hotel as it was a nice relaxing place.

very comfortable hotel. service was very good. staff very helpfull.only problem was that the heating was on all night which made it a bit uncomfortable but apart from that would definately recommend it and would definately go back.
