"Whistler Village inn and suites"
while we were there not only did the hot tub/ break twice (3 night stay) but also at one point the elevator broke which was very inconvenient since we were on the 3rd floor. We were there for the weekend snowboarding and the staff immediately assumed since we were students we were going to have parties in our room and be a problem so they were extremely […] rude to us Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very comfortable stay"
Conveniently located at Whistler Village: close to drugstore/grocery, restaurants, walks away from the activity center and gondolas. Staff was very helpful, especially considering we were there during a busy season: offer to store luggage during check in and check out, help us to figure out how to open/close the murphy bed. Overall, a very pleasant […] stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Above 3 star."
It's a bit older hotel, but very clean, overall above 3 start for sure. Just in the Village, great location!! Will come back again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"AMAZING PLACE AND LOCATION!!!"
This was an amazing deal. We got a 2 bed suite with kitchenette area. Upon arrival, the location is perfectly located near in the village area for food, drink, and shopping. The lifts were really close as well. The room was VERY clean and had everything we needed to cook and keep warm. Requests were handled promptly and the front desk was very polite. There […] is an overnight parking charge of $15 with tax but there isn't a lot of option in the area and it was very convenient. When I return to Whistler, I'll definitely try to stay here. I recommend this place to anyone going up there. This is the first hotel that I wanted to write a good review about. (Give you an idea of how it is) Side note: I didn't use the gym or the pool but the pool looked heated and nice when I saw it. I can't comment much more than that on those items. The rooms were small and the murphy bed folds right out into the middle of the living room, with the kitchen right beside it. Their parking lot was full so we had to park at a different hotel, but they reimbursed us for the cost.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Loft hotel in Whistler"
Pro : Kitchen if you need it, small living area with a wood burning fireplace (logs for sale at front desk). The couch folds out into 2 separate beds. Upstairs there is a nice bed, tv and chair. (Can be noisy if both TV's are on.) Nice location near the end of the village, hot tub and sauna is nice. Con: Very noisy when people are in hallway or closing […] doors. Also you can hear people outside. Towels not really kept up enough in the hot tub area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Nice being right in the village close to everything. The hotel was clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very central location but very basic place to stay. We got the loft so it provided a little more space. I would stay here again, although it isn't my favourite Whistler location. Things are starting to look a little worn in the rooms so I imagine they will have to do a reno soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My friend and I just spent 2 nights in whistler and it was amazing. The location of the hotel is very convenient, as the village stroll is just minutes away. The room was nice and big, we had two comfortable queen beds and a walkout backyard area. Overall I would recommend this as a place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Lovely hotel. Didn't choose breakfast option. Instead ate out... Surrounding mountains are breathtaking. Hotel located close to whistler gondola. But village is small anyway...Nice lazing by pool in early evening before finding somewhere to have dinner.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"OLD AND NEW BLOCKS"
It has 2 blocks old and new. we were in old one. New looked much better and well maintained. sofa twin beds mattress were very bad and painful. otherwise it was neat clean hotel. there is no budget hotel in whistler- almost all ore good hotels. only sofa beds need better mattresses.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location, but quite worn out hotel"
The best about this hotel is central location, but on the other hand the staff is very slow. We had to wait over an hour past the check-in time, as the rooms were not cleaned yet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Made us want to ski"
Very spacious room; could sleep 6. Only complaints: the kitchenette faucet was leaking, and the parking cost extra.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel itself is in a great location. Wouldn't come back for any other reason. Very noisy, could hear people above us walking and out on the street. Front desk staff didn't seem impressed by their job either!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Although the hotel could use some upgrades it was comfortable enough. I would avoid a loft as it was very hot up there and the stairs were very squeeky. Close to everything we wanted. Meals, stores, Peak to Peak lift.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were right in the Village and able to walk everywhere. Close to the gondola for the peak to peak lift which is a must-see adventure. The hotel needs upgrading and the stairs to our loft creaked a lot. Loft very hot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for the price"
Stay was great! The only think was the doors to the hotel rooms. 2 doors with the 1 adjoining door. Very annoying with the doors - especially because we didn't know who was sharing the other room with us. We had 2 kids going in and out, and I'm sure that person wasn't impressed with the door banging. Other then that, hotel was fine. Staff at front desk […] friendly and accommodating. "Perfect Location - low price - clean"
If you don't want to pay the $300 per night rate for staying right in the heart of the village in Whistler, the Village Inn is the way to go. It is okay. renovated. Room is clean although the commun area could have been vacuumed better. But the location is superbe!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value does what it's says on the tin"
Overall happy good clean basic hotel with good TV and Internet access . Bathroom was a little small but other than that ..... GoodGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lots of room for improvement"
Very disappointed! Furniture was old and scarred, carpet dowdy and the air conditioner did not work. There was no comfy chair for relaxing. Not at all what I expected. On a positive note, the staff were courteous and helpful, accommodating our change from a ground floor to upper room with a smile.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to all things we wanted to see"
Very much enjoyed our stay. Room was clean staff excellant. Only glitch was the bathroom door was not hinged properly and made for loud and difficult opening and closing. Over all VERY satisfied.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was great, service was awesome and location was very convenient! Would for sure stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It's gotta be May!"
“it's gonna be May! (It's gonna be me by Nsync)” had so much fun staying in this hotel! Stuff were friendly, standard rooms were 98% the same as standard room of other "high end" hotels like Fairmont. Location wise, EXCELLENT! Insulations of hotel, Excellent! WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK IN WHISTLER VILLAGE INN & suites! needs to work on ( not a bad […] thing but just a suggestion) : maybe an extra entry/exit door to parking which could also be an extra "fire exit" not just in lobby. Extra umbrellas during rainy season, as I can remember when I asked for umbrella the front desk person said "their TWO umbrellas were already in used by other guests" ^_^ please check every beds in every room, one of the bed in room 258-3 needs to be replace. "Worst Experience in Whistler"
I am so unhappy with my stay at the Whistler Inn & Suites. I booked a loft room with 2 beds for 4 adults (I purposely did not want a room with a sofa bed), when we arrived our room was a loft with 1 bed and two child size pull out single sofa beds. It was run down & grubby. We called to complain & the front desk argued that we should be happy because […] the room actually had 3 beds... Considering that both my husband and my feet hung off the end if the single pull outs by more than a foot I found this completely unacceptable but.. we decided not to make a fuss and went to dinner, when we returned we folded out both sofa beds to find one was missing several springs and was in tatters. I again called the front desk to have the situation sorted, by by this stage I was furious. They arranged for an additional room rather than forcing my pregnant friend to get up and move at 1am which was appreciated... However when we arrived at the new room I was frustrated to find that this was in fact the room we had initially booked with 2 queen beds in the loft.. To top the entire horrible experience off I awoke to something sharply scratching my leg... It was a dirty earring which was poking through the under sheet (not my earring).. We will never return to this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel in the heart of Whistler Village."
Just stayed a night but it was great! There are BBQ's by the pool so you can walk down to the grocery store, grab some meat & throw it on the barbie while chilling in the hot tub. The room was very spacious & clean. There was decent bike locker storage in the parking garage to lock up expensive bikes which is a prerequisite for any hotel I stay at.Genuine Expedia guest review
"More than expected"
My daughter and I were on a little get away. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were able to find places and things to do in walking distance. Our room was clean and comfortable. Would totally come back :)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel for families"
Quiet hotel, with nice staff. We always stay here with my 4 year old daughter. It's very close to a supermarket and liquor storeGenuine Expedia guest review

"needs major upgrade"
Hotel is quite old. The sofa bed is terrible that you coul feel every spring in it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Most terrible hotel ever."
No service whatsoever, only relatively clean, unfriendly layout, no atmosphere whatsoever etc, etcGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to ski lifts and village"
Great proximity to ski lifts and village. We were not crazy about our room. We probably just chose the wrong room. We chose a studio (really squished for 2 adults and 2 kids). The bathroom was really dated and there was no plug for the tub. Also the tub was badly damaged and had been repaired using epoxy of some sort. I ask for a plug at the front desk...but […] never received one. Also, the hot tub is really small and was always full of people. This hotel just needs a little TLC and it could be fabulous! On the positive side--it was 5 minutes from the ski lifts. The lobby is nice. Parking was good. The keg is right in the same building. Little kitchenette was really handy and functional. Would we stay there again...maybe. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Short Whistler Getaway"
Very good hotel and close to the ski lifts. Walls are thin and we can clearly hear people walk and talk in the hallway in the middle of the night. We've booked 2 nights through Expedia, during check in, the hotel staff has indicated we only have 1 night of reservation. They've ran out of the room type that we originally booked but the manager was nice […] enough to offer us a free upgrade. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Absolutely great location. We had a great room and loved our one night!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was available at the height of school spring break…which should have been our first warning. It's in a central location, but one suffers for it. It's incredibly noisy. Not only is it very close to a loud restaurant and night club with drunk patrons outside your window at 2 AM but it has zero internal insulation so you hear EVERYTHING. Never […] again. "Good value for money"
Clean, though older, functional Whistler accommodation. Great to be able to cook and eat in house.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Basic accommodation, perfect location, great staff"
Had a ladies ski trip for 2 nights and stayed in the basic "standard room" with two queen beds. It was a little cramped with all our stuff but the price was right and the close proximity to the gondolas and pubs was great. Outdoor hot tub area was basic but was a hit and being mid-week we got it mostly to ourselves. The staff we very accommodating with […] every request we made including sending a fax and getting us a corkscrew. Room for improvement: the standard rooms should have at least a mini fridge (instead we kept our drinks cold in the snow on our patio) and our car was too tall for the parking garage because of the roof box. "Fit our needs perfectly"
We appreciated the accomodating nature of this hotel....granting us a later check out time, allowing us to leave our car in their garage for additional hours while we enjoyed some last day skiing. Made for a wonderful end to our very short vacation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Convinient to everywhere! Just above of KEG, good place to eatting out or cooking in room. Very nice experience for staying there.Genuine Expedia guest review
"ok, but nothing special for that budget"
Nice service. Too cold during the night . Problem with a heating system. I would come back again since it is hard to find something in that price range.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Didn't meet expectations"
Close to the hills and festivities but poor accommodations. Toiletries were lacking, and the complimentary lotion found in the bathroom was half used. The sheets smelled.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel in whistler village"
the Suite is almost satisfactory except it is a little bit too small and the blanket for the sofa bed is not that clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Roomy and close to everything"
We stayed midweek in a deluxe studio with Murphy bed. The M-bed was better than expected and the twin sofa bed was surprisingly good too. Loved that we could have 4 sit down at the table for dinner we prepared ourselves and had lots of space to visit after dinnerGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very close to everthing within the village."
Friendly bunch of aussie staffs. Location cannot be beat.Genuine Expedia guest review
We checked in and to my surprise we were given a room not in the main hotel but in an Annex separate from the hotel. As soon as we entered the building you could clearly see how old and smelly it was. Our room was so small and outdated the bathroom fixtures were original like from the 70's. The 2 single split sofa bed were so thin and the springs dug […] in we struggled to sleep on it and complained the next day they gave us a free upgrade and the new room was just as old and smelly. It really ruined our holiday it was disgusting plus it should not have charged what they did for it. It should be torn down! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Short trip to Whsitler"
We stayed just one night to do a short trip to Whistler. Our room was small and quite expensive at the rate of its site and comfort. But the room was pretty clean, the stuff was very friendly and courteous. The hotel is located very close to the runs and right in the middle of the gorgeous village so the money was worth it. But it is to say that the […] hotel is quite clairaudient especially when people run through the corridors or have a very loud/hard pace. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Old rooms, not the quietest"
We had already been up at Whistler for six nights and decided to extend one more day, so we booked at the Whistler Inn and Suites for just one night. It was expensive for what it is! These are small rooms that have not been updated in a long time. However, they are clean and well maintained. It's not the quietest hotel. There were lots of college kids […] staying there, but I find that's true of most places near the village. We actually prefer to stay in Upper Village, now that we have kids.
