Check-in was easy & quick. Staff very accomodating. Initial, "standard" room was small & stuffy, but we easily upgraded to a balcony room for $30/night, which was well worth it. We were only […] there three nights & I personally witnessed the staff mopping the halls outside our room at least 4 times, and we were only there late in the evening & early morning. Very clean. Great place to stay. Older property that is aging but well cared for. Very nice pools, great for kids. Excellent customer service. Surrounding town is not really a touristic destination, stay here for proximity to the ferry or el yunque. Great on-site restaurants. Would recommend.

Our bed was very uncomfortable. We did not complain so shame on us I guess. Other wise the hotel was very nice. One night, there was a very rowdy group in the pool late at night. We did complain about this and the staff took care of it immediately.

We stayed there twice for 2 nights on our recent trip to PR. General comments: helpful staff, good restaurants on-site, 2 pools to hang out in, don't need to leave the resort if you don't want. We had a coffee maker in our room but no coffee/sugar etc provided to use with them. We ended up using the coffee machine in the lobby instead on our first stay, […] and picked some coffeemaker packets before our second stay. There are 2 pools in the facility, one a basic one, the other 'fancier' with a swim-up bar and water slide; however the swim-up bar was closed/unmanned on both stays, which was kinda disappointing for us. You can get pool towels to use for free, so no need to use your room ones! There are 2 restaurants in the facility - the Starfish which is a nicer place that served Puerto Rican cuisine, and Blue Iguana, which does Mexican food, and is more laid-back, sports bar kinda atmosphere. Food at both was good. Nearby are plenty of eating options, both of the roadside booth kind, and the sit-down kind (on Route 987). The 7 Seas Beach and Las Croabas are not too far away, and you can take the BioBay tours from the latter. Overall, a really good value for the price, and a one-stop all-available kinda place! Rust was all over the front of the fridge, 1/2 of the shower curtain rings were broken and the shower curtain would not stay attached all the way, no window curtain in the kitchen, and we had to call maid service to replace the sheets which had no elastic left and would not stay on the bed.The room was clean and the people did their best. Very clean and affordable. Nice pool. We stayed here to be closer to El Yunque, but would have preferred staying in San Juan and driving a little further. Not much to do in Fajardo. Although there are a few good restaurants nearby.

This is a reasonably priced hotel with helpful staff and some fun activities for kids if you want to hang around the hotel. There are two restaurants at the hotel, but not much else within walking distance. It is a good location to explore the north-east part of PR.

The Fajardo Inn is spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with two pools and on-site restaurants. Also a short drive to El Yunque and Playa Luquillo. Plenty of parking as well.

Very nice inn. Pretty view,well kept grounds, pools, etc. The room was clean, roomy, bright, and airy. The staff was very helpful. Good location (a bit tricky to find the first time late at night with no GPS but after that it was fine). A few nit picky details were not okay but overall a real gem of a place.

Just to prefix my review, there's not really anything resembling "nice areas" in Puerto Rico. That being said, the hotel itself was nice and felt safe. There were some nice restaurants nearby and if you're planning on going to Vieques or Culebra you can't ask for a closer hotel to the ferry (the ferry is another whole story). We aren't really high maintenance […] when it comes to hotels. We basically need clean beds with a shower as we are rarely in the room. If you're a resort person this probably isn't the place for you as the pool bar\snack bar isn't open on weekdays and the 2 restaurants are closed for portions of the day. The staff was good and housekeeping did a fine job. There are 2 pools, one more for adults by the Blue Iguana restaurant and another below that which is shallow for kids. Also if you are going to stay in the Fajardo\Luquillo area, don't waste your time with Seven Seas beach. Head straight for Monserrate Balneario, also frequently referred to as "Luquillo Beach". Off Season in Early December is a great time to go if you want to enjoy Peace and Quiet. It is very close to everything on the eastern side of the island. Your about 5 minutes from the Ferry if you want to visit some of the other islands and about 18 minutes drive time to the Bio-Bay.in the reserve. The Rain forest is a must see and is located about […] 35-45 minutes away by car. A car rental is a must have since public transportation is next to nothing and very expensive. For a wonderful breakfast or a great sandwich away from the hotel but local check out the Golden Sweet Bakery which is very affordable for those on a budget, it will run you around $5-7 per person per meal. Also be sure to check out the nightly special (the menu changes 7 nights a week) in the Blue Iguana Mexican Sports Bar on sight. They are awesome and will run you around $9.00 per person plus drinks. Our stay was mainly good, There were a few discordant notes, they had a large bird on display in a small cage, I'm fairly certain it never got out. Also, a few of the front desk staff acted as if they could not be bothered to help me, as if I didn't really belong in their hotel or something.

At the entrance there's need for information; you can go straight or right. If you are getting there for the first time obviously you are looking for front desk; for that you need to go straigh at the entrance and not to the first building at your right. Also the hotel is located in a hill and it was really bothersome all the walking up and down the […] terrain to go to different places at the hotel. Don't get a wrong picture, the hotel itself is great. It has two great pools and two different restaurants to please your taste. It even has a gym if you want to excercise. It's clean and the staff is really helpful and with good maners. The room was big enough for my family. Very well cleaned and organized every day and never anything of value was missing. Staff was very friendly and tried to resolve all issues i.e. safe didn't work, room keys were not properly coded, tv didn't work all of which was fixed and we had a room transfer but both rooms were very musty. At the end of a very long work day it was just a place to stay and it was quiet. We stayed in Fajardo because we wanted to tour El Yunque prior to taking the ferry to Vieques. The hotel is not near any other businesses and overall is kind of depressing. Upon […] check-in you, receive a laminated pass, with a stern warning that if you lose it there will be a $25 replacement cost. Then you have to got to the fitness center to get a towel. There are few choices in Fajardo. The hotel is a large complex and was very quiet during our stay. Staff seemed irritated that they had to deal with guests. I will try the El Conquistador next time.

amazing gym for serious weightlifting! where did the idea to invest in this awesome gym come from? its like double as nice as the rooms. the pools where great too. weak wifi didnt reach our room, but you can sit at the front desk area really comfortably.

Great place to stay, great amenities including the lovely pool area with the slide and basketball hoop. The putt putt was fun (although maintained too well). We had a good wireless signal, and the restaurants at the hotel were both fantastic. Our waiter, Yamil, was excellent. And a waitress there went out of her way to accomodate us.

Beautiful grounds. Beds are very comfortable. One thing that I was concerned about was when we entered our room the air conditioner was not on and the room was very humid and the tile floor was very slippery.
