This hotel is excellent value in a safe part of Mexico City. It is not for people wanting a high level of luxury or service; but for experienced travelers who want a good location, a safe neighborhood with access to the city, this is a nice find. The room that I stayed in for 5 days was spacious, clean and actually surprisingly quiet for a room facing […] the street. The mattress was hard (I like it, but some may not); the sheets and towels were of good quality. The servicing of the room was timely and efficient. If you don't want the hotel's breakfast buffet, go across the street to Cafe Gaby for coffee, flavored teas, or hot chocolate (made the old fashioned way). Within 2 blocks of the hotel, there are a number of bakeries, street vendors selling fresh juices and variety of foods, small restaurants, a pharmacy, etc. Nearest subway station is Insurgentes, and taxis are readily available. Hotel's staff speaks a limited amount of English; but, enough so the basics get covered. I would definitely go back to this hotel (and I've stayed at a number of the very high-priced ones in the city; so, I have points of comparison). If you want a high-end, sanitized environment, stay in Polanco; if you want to see a more real version of life in the city, this is a good place. Read more

I can easily recommend this hotel. The location is great. Close to Metro, metro bus, taxis, small restaurant and shops, walking distance to a new mall on Reforma (the main boulevard) and a longer walk to the Zocola and many museums. I really enjoyed the hospitality of the Hotel staff. And I am looking forward to returning to this wonderful,conveniently located place. The shopping and entertaining District of Zona Rosa , as well as the Metro Subway and Metro Bus was right there! Definitely makes exploring Mexico City a joy.

It is a fine hotel for dropping off your stuff and having a great time in Mexico City. We enjoyed early morning tea sitting in the window seat that looked over the city. Everything worked fine and the staff accommodating. As with many Mexican hotels the beds are hard but not uncomfortable for us.

Had a few issues - air conditioning and wifi did not work in first room, not all the staffs knew any English. But they gave me a room of my choice next day where both wifi and a/c worked. Hotel is very centrally located, close to Zona Rosa and Insurgentes metro. Staff very friendly and for the price, I would highly reccommend this hotel. Just by walking a few blocks down the road you can pay a lot more for the same service! Decor seems to be a bit 80's but except for the expensive hotels in Mexico City, that's pretty common.

Located in the charming neighborhood of Zona Rosa, this was a great deal for the price. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The only downside was the mattress, it was very stiff and uncomfortable.

As a previous reviewer already explained, there is no complimentary breakfast even though it said so on my reservation... We were very disappointed about that because the breakfast in the lobby did look good, but it's cost was overpriced so we went to 7-11 about a block away instead. Otherwise, the hotel was great, decent location (about 5-10 minutes […] walk from metro), about a 3 block walk from a very large/modern mall with western stores/food vendors and even a new 12-screen cinema, clean and large room with a new/modern flat screen TV (where we watched the World Cup, in Spanish!), and the hotel employees were helpful in answering our questions (however, Delta flies out of terminal 2 not terminal 1, but I don't blame the hotel employee on that one, I should have found that out on my own. The terminals are very far apart though, so figure this out before you head to the airport). Overall, it was a nice hotel, but don't plan on getting a free/complimentary breakfast! Read more

Muy confortable y comodo. El hotel tiene una excelente ubicacion y te permite descansar sin el ruido del trafico pese a estar muy cerca de Av. Insurgentes. El personal es de buen trato y amables.
