Nice and clean hotel at the Quai of Bordeaux, which was a very convenient location for our stay. Most of the breakfast was organic, which was very nice, however, the prices were much too high. Around £13 per person for breakfast and not worth it. Would stay there again, but without breakfast :-)

Beautiful location - close to restaurants, the river and the tram station. The market is steps away on Sunday morning. In the heart of antiques. Room was always cleaned, but for some reason drinking glasses, coffee/tea cups, spoons not replaced once used on daily basis. Language for non-French speakers is a problem and caused problems that resulted […] in billing issues - double-billed without a signature on second invoice and charged for breakfast every morning, but only had it twice. Had to phone after return to States and luckily credit card company identified someone who could speak English; otherwise, the issue would not have been corrected. To their credit - they changed the bill back to what it was when I left so no problem other than wasting an international phone call. We left a very expensive prescription pair of glasses in our room, by mistake. We called the hotel so they would express it to us to our next destination, they had the glasses in their hands, agreed to send them on, we emailed the addres, told them to charge the cost to our credit card. Where do I start?! This place makes Fawlty Towers look good. If we hadn't prepaid online, we would have left. After checking in we wemt to the rooftop "terrace" to take in the view of the city. Silly us! Within 5 minutes of us going onto the roof (7th floor), through an open door, the door was locked behind us. We banged and yelled but no-one came. […] We tried all the doors on the rooftop, which is shared with several other businesses, and found a fire escape after jumping a barricade. We explained and complained to management that we'd just been locked on the roof, and ended up being yelled at by 2 different managers, because apparently it was our fault. There was no sign telling us not to go out, or that the door may be locked. I was most upset, and management did nothing other than yell at us! Maids just walked into our room without warning. Breakfast is a rip off. The plaza in front is smeared in dog poo, so watch your step. We were woken at 5am one day by a fire alarm. My husband investigated, and was told it was from a neighboring building, only after going outside to see what was happening. Many other guests also scared and confused as a result, but no communication/direction from staff. Hotel managent incredibly rude and arrogant, rooms not clean, bathroom mouldy and in need of a renovation. A/C useless, room was very stuffy, despite weather outside being quite mild. It was more of a business hotel with the restaurant being closed over the weekend, but the meal we had there on the Thursday night was fabulous. The room was quite large and very comfortable. Very comfortable accommodation with excellent breakfast buffet. No restaurant open at weekend but this didn't bother us as there are good restaurants very near. Fantastic location for exploring Bordeaux . Tram stop just outside and public bike hire racks very near. Staf were very efficient and friendly.

We found it a little bit difficult to find, tucked away from the main road. The hotel & staff were of a very high standard. No noise at all from the outside. Some work is being carried out on the sixth floor & very occasionally we heard it in our room on the fourth floor. The breakfast on offer was above average in my view. Speaking of which, this takes […] place on the seventh floor & the views from there are magnificent. I found that, after the breakfasts were completed by the hotel, access to this terrific space was denied by the lift. Mind you, i didn't raise this with any staff member & perhaps there is a way to use the roof area upon request. Anybody who has yet to visit Bordeaux, will find it really worthwhile. I would say that it would be very difficult to eat badly there. To get around we used the terrific tram system. A seven day pass was E11.30. Also, the larger open top bus tour is worth experiencing. Very convenient location- excellent value- although 19 Euros a day to park in the nearby carpark (because Bordeaux is a city for walking around and wine tasting tours are not something you do by private car!!) is an unfortunate addition to the cost. The room was spacious, bathroom very modern and tidy and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff were very polite. Didn't have breakfast. There is a big rooftop area from which you can see the whole city. Definitely recommend it.

Very pleased with hotel choice, especially because deal was half price, and therefore felt very good value for clean and comfortable room. Parking is available in secure public parking below the hotel (19 euros for 24 hours). Perfect central location to explore Bordeaux and felt safe late at night.

The hotel seems to be set up for business travellers. For example the bar closes on Fridays at 14:40 and doesn't open at weekends. However the location is very good. 15 minutes walk to the City centre and right by the sunday food market on Quai Chartron. Rooms a bit small and little clothes storage but for a weekend no real problem

Was undergoing a major re-fit whilst I was there, this was made clear and although some decorating going on in and a round the corridor and neighbouring rooms, mine was one of the newly completed room. All was taseful and comfortable and the room very comfortable. No complaints!
