Having stayed at the Landis Hotel in Taipei, I expected Icon to offer the same service quality or better. After checking in, no one bothered to show us to our room and introduce us to the facilites available. I booked a harbor view room for an increased price. Sure there was a view of the harbor, if you looked to the left side. Directly outside my window was the rooftop of the mall. The concierge was helpful. I had one meal at the lobby cafe. My mom ordered a chowder in bread bowl. The bread came out toasted with green mold!! How did they miss that?! Killed our appetites immediately! I've read comments comparing Icon to the Four Seasons. One of our travel companions stayed there and I had an opportunity to rest in her room during our long afternoons in Hong Kong island. The hotel is impeccable and there was definitely no mold in our food.

Decent size room for Hong Kong. Definitely not huge but plenty big enough. Nice bathroom. Perfect Kowloon location. Clean and nice

Situated in Shenzhen, Sunshine Hotel Shenzhen is close to International Foreign Trade Center, Shun Hing Square, and Shenzhen People's Park. Also nearby are Luohu Border Crossing and Shenzhen Grand Theater.
Hotel Features.
Sunshine Hotel Shenzhen has a full-service spa, a health club, and an indoor pool. "Convenient hotel"
I booked 3 nights, deluxe room for business trip. Very helpful concierge , know everything and well explain. Have 2 nights upgrade from deluxe to suite room. ( there was some problem , firstly they will upgrade just 1 night but I'm out for the meeting for the whole day so can't change. they call me at 11.30 pm if I can change the room at that time!!! […] I said I can't but they insist, so i have to pack, 10 mins later they call me and said it's ok to stay another night, but have to change before 9.00 am.) In the morning at 9.00 , I go down for room changing , they said no room available!! So I have to leave my belonging and go out for the meeting and let them change the room for me. "Good Value"
This hotel is a great value. Rooms are a good size and the overall feel is a high level. i have stayed there for 4 visits in a row. next time I will switch hotels b/c there are not enough staff that speak english well enough to understand requests that are not basic. it is very difficult to communicate. They also only had maps in Chinese so I could […] not use them. Lastly, the staff does not seem as interested in helping as I have seen in the past. "Great location"
Really friendly staff all very helpfull Clean nice rooms Close to all locations I really enjoyed my stay and the staff helped me find out things I didn't know and also arranged a journey straight to hongkong airport which made it far more comfortable then going by train and easier. Close to dongmen shopping district. Buffet dinner in the restaurant […] was pleasant and tasty but a little pricy even with 40% discount voucher which you get complentary on your stay. Read more

Booking and check-in was smooth. The room was excellent! Better than we expected. The hotel reception staff, concierge and housekeeping staff were very professional and very helpful! The location of the hotel was good and we really appreciated the free shuttle service to and from Lohu Commercial Centre. It was also within walking distance from Dongmen […] and the Guo Mao metro station. On the whole, a good experience. However, the restaurant staff on the 2nd flr left much to be desired on our last day. They were too eager for us to leave the restaurant after breakfast and it was obvious from their body language. 飯店地理優越，步行約5分鐘可達國貿地鉄站。週遭有蘇活酒吧和皇室假期水療館步行即抵達。飯店陳設老舊價位有點高房間空間不大但服務還算OK，下回仍會考慮入住該飯店。

10年振りの滞在でした。最近できたホテルに泊まろうと試みましたが適当なものが見つからず『また陽光か？』との思いでのチェックイン。全面リニューアルを感じさせない落ち着いた雰囲気でした。昼間にホテル内のどこかを工事しているようで、その音が商用ではなかった私には気になりました。きっと近いうちに工事も完了し静けさを取り戻すでしょう。 長年５星に君臨する当ホテルの強みがどこにあるのかは実感は難しい。外観も最近のホテルより １０年前まではなかった地下鉄も完全に整備され、陽光酒店へ徒歩約５分以内のところにも地下鉄の駅がありました。私は香港・山水(シャンスイ)から電車で羅湖に入りタクシーを探しましたがタクシー乗り場が地下に移動したことが分からずやむなく駅前のシャングリラホテルのロビーでタクシーを拾い陽光酒店まで行きました。 中国では英語はほとんど通じません。タクシーの運転手に陽光酒店の英名『Sunshine […] Hotel』は理解されません。陽光酒店(ヤンゴンチュテン)と中国語の抑揚で言う必要があります。あらかじめ紙に書いておくと便利で確実です。その点地下鉄の利用は比較的安全で安価であり今後活用することが望まれます。ちなみに地下鉄はシンセン全域がほぼカバーされシンセン空港や蛇口などへのアクセスも可能です。 蛇足ながら、シャングリラ・ホテルのロビーからタクシーを利用する悪知恵を伝授しておきます。一旦ホテルに入り汗が引くのを待って、堂々と出ていきます。フロントのボーイを呼んでタクシー(または、中国語の的士)を頼みます。ボーイは多少英語を理解しますのでSunshine Hotelというと手配してくれます。Hotelからのタクシーの利用に際しては、ボーイは車番を記入した用紙をくれますので問題発生時には助かりますし、また問題の発生を防止する効果もあるようです。是非お試しあれ！ 陽光酒店からドンメン(東門)のショッピング街は徒歩１０分ほどで行くことができます。今や１０００万都市となったシンセンですが、中国のさらなる発展と旺盛な消費意欲を感じるには是非一度は訪れたいものです。もちろん負けずにお買い物するにはとっておきの場所です。 小生、２３才の娘への土産は全てここで調達しました。私のセンスなど娘に合う訳はない。高いものを買っても気にいってもらえなければただのゴミ。そこで部屋着感覚で沢山購入しました。１件２０元(約３００円)から６０元の安物ばかり。ひどいのは９．９元均一(日本の百均に相当か)のもの。幸いにも『部屋着にもいや』と言われた１件を除き一応及第点をもらえた。不合格の１点はチョコに添えて友人へ嫁入りしました。 さて、今回の目的はライチ。ここらでは５月から６月にかけてはライチのシーズン。路上や商店でライチが食べることができます。郊外とはなりますが、ライチ狩りが楽しめます。入場料４０元(６００円)で場内食べ放題。お土産には１５元/斤(５００g)でたらふく召し上がれ！ Read more

Sentral beliggenhet i gangavstand til shoppingsenter og handlegater. Hotellet er meget godt vedlikeholdt og med store rom med alt man kan tenke seg. Stort fint basseng og minigolf innendørs. International frokost av høy klasse hvor betjeningen hele tiden sørger for at du får en utrolig god opplevelse av å være gjest. Kan anbefales på det sterkeste.
