For the price paid this hotel is totally worth the money. Free breakfast and no resort fees! Location right on fremont. Hotel staff were very nice compared to some higher priced hotels. Front desk was friendly at check in. Valet guys were nice. Breakfast was awesome. Room was a little dated and tired but for the rate paid it was clean, quiet and safe.

The room was a steal at the price, and it was right on the strip. Only complaints /i had were poor lobby lay-out (had to ask where the check in desk was) and poor room and elevator maintenance, the elevators shook so bad i thought we could plunge to the bottom at any moment.
Location.
Conveniently near the airport, Claremont Hotel Las Vegas is in Las Vegas (West of The Strip), close to Fashion Show Mall, Las Vegas Convention Center, and Sands Expo Convention Center. Also nearby are Las Vegas Premium Outlets and The Shoppes at the Palazzo.

"Not bad"
The rooms are good. just like every other normal hotel. Its not to far from the strip. Palace station is right over the freeway walking distance. This place has nice people working there, very helpful. Building has definitely been around for years. The breakfast could use some work... and it would have been nice to have a bar and some slots. Best part […] was it was cheap! I stayed for a week and it cost me half the price of anywhere closer to the strip. "Bed bugs and mold"
Bed bugs were found on our last night's stay in the room. There was mold present in the bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Hookers and strip clubs all around the surrounding area may be a plus. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired.
"Pictures lie"
I was very disappointed pulling up to this hotel. I thought the picture of the front of the hotel looked nice along with the other pictures on the website . When you walk into the lobby it looks like the counter tops haven't been wiped down in months along with the floors looking very dirty. The elevator is a whole other story how nasty it looked. Now […] when we got to our room there was a butt of a blunt on the floor, there was no iron I had to go down to front desk to get get the iron, they didn't bring it up to my room. Like every where else in the hotel the floors in our room where nasty as well. I had to request that they thoroughly clean my room before i return for the day which they did. But i feel that these are things that should have already been done prior to our arrival. These people need need to fire their whole house keeping staff because they SUCK....A hotel should never look like that.... if they are planning to stay in business. Read more

"Filthy"
The place is expremely dirty. They don't vacuum the lobby, halls, or inside of elevator. Stains, spills, debris, and unidentified fluids all over the carpet. Windows hadn't been cleaned in ages. Sticky and full of fingerprints. This place is gross. The only thing they clean is the rooms.

"Rotten Experience"
I stayed here for a week. There was only maid service once. I had to get my own towels each day, empty my own trash, and make my own bed. There was no Internet service on the third floor. There was no continental breakfast. No coffee maker in the room. There was no remote control for the tv. No toilet paper. Other than a nice front desk lady named India, […] there was not much in the way of service. "Buz Travelor"
Hotel.com please post that the hotel is under renovations. The room had new furniture but the hallways were not touched at all. the room numbers were hanging of 1/4 of the # was missing. "Claremont hotel"
This was a very bad experience. The bathtub was full of pubic hair. The walls and floors were dirty. The bedspread had a huge stain on it. The window was open. Wondered why maintenance needed to know what room we were in. They at least warned us they might tow our car even though we were staying there.

The room was very nice and clean, the TV was the best I seen lately, and the price was the lowest in town.
"The Claremont"
This is an older hotel that needs to be remodeled. The free wifi barely worked and dropped connection every two or three minutes. The continental breakfast didn't get set up the first morning that I was there and the second morning it was set up but was just cereal and danishes.

"Horrible!!!!!!"
I will never, EVER stay at this so called HOTEL ever again! 1st of all, the room smelled SO bad, 2nd of all there was no phone in the hotel room, 3rd of all the sheets were disgusting, 4th of all it felt like a maze to find the hotel in the 1st place. Althought the receptionist was nice, I will definitely not RECCOMEND this hotel what so ever!

Not clean. Entire hotel reeked of old cigarette smoke. Our room was filthy. Not vacuumed, open soap, old rolls of toilet paper and a quickly made (probably with not clean sheets) bed. Customer service was okay at check in they were not very organized, with stacks of papers everywhere. They charged me an additional fee for "early check-in" that wasn't […] disclosed at the time of my reservation. I made a reservation here because it was one of the only hotels in Vegas that had rooms left on 11/11/11. My friend was getting married at a chapel on Sahara Ave. and so we chose this hotel for its location and availability. **I will give credit to the housekeeping lady that came, by my request, to tear down our bed and give us clean linens. "LV Clairmont Hotel Say"
Overall not bad, the hallways need to be shampoo'd and vaccumed more often. Its a little older hotel but for the price and location its ok. The front desk people were nice and helpful, same for the maids. "3.2 miles from the strip only good thing"
Place is a dive. Pay $30 more per night to get a better hotel. Rooms are dark and dingy. Out toilet kept running. No cable cord to the tv. Missing light bulbs. All 4 pillows on my bed had not been washed....ever? I might have been better off staying down on Freemont St.
"The Claremont Hotel in Las Vegas"
The room had a bad smell, the sheets felt and looked dirty. Overall it was not a good experience.
"Close to the strip and where I was at."
The hotel furniture was out dated. Such as dresser drawers falling off and headboards seemed homemade. The front desk concierge was nice, they moved us from a one bed to a two bed last minute. We only stayed one night, so over all it was within our budget and a mile away from where we needed to be.

"Claremont las vegas"
Where to start? Non smoking room stunk of smoke. Had to change and tat took an age. Elevator stopped of its own accord. Freeway noise meant difficult to sleep. Breakfast poor, coffee cool. Should have rented rooms by the hour. Sleep in your car

Chambre sombre. Coffre fort présent mais pas fixé! et pour mon cas verrouillé par le client précédent ! Pas de connexion internet disponible dans mon cas contrairement aux annonces faites pour la présentation des chambre. Un plus tout de même: difficile voir impossible de faire moins cher.
