I enjoyed my stay here,the hotel staff were polite and helpful,this was my first stay at this hotel and I would definately come back,good value and rates.
Location.
Situated in Barrie, Travelodge Barrie On Cn is close to Georgian College. Additional area attractions include Barrie Molson Centre and Tangle Creek Golf Club.
Hotel Features.
In addition to an indoor pool and gift shops/newsstands, Travelodge Barrie On Cn features laundry facilities. The staff can arrange event catering, business services, and currency exchange. "Clean Hotel in Great Location"
This was my second time staying at this hotel while I was in Barrie. I stayed for a total of four nights. The hotel is located just seconds from Rt. 400 which provides guests with easy access to everything in the area. There is also a Tim Hortons within easy walking distance from the hotel. It is also just a five to ten minute drive to the Barrie waterfront, […] which is a must see if your are in the area. The rooms are very clean and fairly modern at this hotel. My only criticism would be with the desk staff. They can be very terse with customers, as I experienced both times I stayed there. "Great Location"
Location of hotel is excellent. Right off Higway 400. Lot's of gas stations and eateries in the immediate area, and it's only minutes from Barrie's downtown and the waterfront. Hotel itself was clean, and the staff was friendly.
"Great stay"
We booked the hotel online and thought it would be hard to find. It was in the best location close to the highway. With in close distance of many shopping malls, coffee shops and many others. Great place to stay and enjoy.
the rook looked dirty, the bathroom toilet seat had burns and stains on it. made me feel very dirty. when checking in, the gentleman at the front counter was very arrogrant and helpful at all, when i asked to move to a different room he more or less said take the room i gave you or go some where else. the tv was so old, it was full of static and lines […] so bad we could barrly watch tv without getting a headache, also nothing was done when we asked at the front desk to have some one to come look at it and see if they could fix it but again not one showed up to look at the tv. was the worst stay in in the last 3 weeks. Front desk clerc was friendly and helpfull re - directions of local venues, smiled and appeared to like her job :) No complaints.

"RUDE HOTEL"
Every single staff member was rude. FOR NO REASON. Even when we were being extra nice they were giving us attitude. Made us believe that people in Barrie are just rude in nature. They almost forgot to give us our fourth booked room. And if you want to use the swimming area, they are rude and ask you if you are "even a guest at the hotel". Hotel was average. Good price for our needs. Needs some updating for sure but that woud probab ly mean an increase.

"Travelodge on Hart Dr, Barrie"
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I made good use of the pool and hot tub. This is somewhere I would stay again.
WE had booked a pet freindly roomand when we arrived we GOT IN TROUBLE for using your service, a pet freindly room was not what they had for us. We also booked a non smoking and we were put RIGHT next to smoking rooms. This was not an enjoyable stay.
"Too noisy!"
Stayed for two nights. The first night was fine. The second night was very noisy. We could hear upstairs and next door. People had to be kicked out in the middle of the night. We were considering leaving in the middle of the night so we could stay elsewhere and get a good nights sleep. "Travelodge on Hart Dr. - off 401"
This hotel is not new by any means, but it is clean, the staff was very friendly and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.
Pool was very cold Whirl Pool Jets did not work Staff at the reception were not very friendly towards us The bathroom was not in good condition, there were areas of patched up work
"Travel Lodge 55 Hart drive Barrie, Ontario"
We've been staying here for the last 4 summers... 3 day weekenders...Picking up our kids at CTC Blackdown at Base Borden... We really enjoy our stays at Travel Lodge...the front desk folks are wonderful and kind...housekeeping staff very polite and respectful...we find the travel lodge in between inexpensive/expensive...very reasonable. I was highly […] impressed with housekeeping...we left early for a day at Canada's Wonderland...we returned to find our room nicely cleaned with fresh bedding and towels...we did leave a few valuables, not out in the open, but tucked away...the items were still there...this is why we highly recommend Travel Lodge at 55 Hart Drive in Barrie...thank you very much folks...see you next summer! "Nice"
Nice place to stay but looks old and a bit run down. Comfortable though and it was nice a quiet, at least while we where there. Basic but nice.
"Blood on the sheet"
There was stained dried up blood on the sheet! People at front desk were not at all friendly! Felt like I was inconveniencing them by staying when I checked in. The lady working when I checked out was nice. Was very disappointed since I thought Travelodge was a good hotel chain.
"Travelodge Barrie"
This hotel is located just off Hwy 400 which is very convenient. The hotel was quiet and in a very convenient location with pizza, Tim Horton's and a place for breakfast just a hop skip and jump from where we stayed. Hotel.com messed up the location and maybe it was a good thing because I think we found our hotel to stay at in Barrie.

"The Travelodge in Barrie Great Vacation Stay"
I enjoyed staying at the Travelodge as it was located close to all of the tourism sites on the map.
With this hotel, you get what you pay for, a bed and t.v. It has never been updated and it shows. Staff were helpful and friendly.

"Travellodge Barrie Ont Canada, good location"
Travelodge Barrie was an excellent location for the accounts and events I needed to see. Easy access to Tim Hortons for breakfast for an early morning start. Excellent hot and full breakfast menu available in Travelodge if you have time. Excellent access to Hwy 400 and easy to find. Rooms very clean and well appointed.
"Great service, clean & convenient. Great value."
Stayed on New Years Eve. Check-in (Dorothy) was fabulous - even though there was a booking issue. Room was clean, nothing extraordinary but adequate. Surprisingly quiet for the occasion. 5 mins from downtown and great eats near by. In all a great stay, true value for $$. We'll be staying again on our next ski trip!
