"Good mid-price choice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

"Serious internet problems; everything else average"
Not a bad hotel, but not great. The location from public transportation was okay and the staff were agreeable, but the room smelled really musty and there wasn't a day that I didn't have troubles connecting to the internet.
"Vancover stay"
My son and I stayed in the hotel for three nights. I liked the size of the room and the bathroom. The beds were hard as a rock and the halls were very small and cramped. Other than that I was very happy with our stay there and I would stay there again as longs as the beds were softer.
"Strongly recommendation"
Everything is good except no breakfast service
"Close to the airport but far from anywhere else."
Unfortunately, this hotel was not at all what we expected. We were told that a continental breakfast was included with our rate, but when we got to the hotel they said they don't even have a dinning place in the hotel. There was a restaurant down stairs, separated from the hotel, not good service, and was expensive.
"Hotel close to Intl Airport"
Hotel was conveniently close to Vancouver airport. Also to several stores within walking distance.
"Travelodge Vancouver Airport"
Older property, looks tired but clean and close to Airport. Pool and free parking a perk. Pantry restaurant in building but would recommend Moxies across the street or variety of restaurants and malls 10 minutes away in Richmond.
I loved the pool for my daughter. It was small and perfect for what we were looking for. The weight room is a bit small but that was okay too.
"Great pillows"
I traveled throughout the United States and Canada each year. This is one of the few hotels in which both the bed and pillows were not only spotless but also very very comfortable.
"i love this place!"
The place is so quit!

"Wouldn't Recommend It"
Elevator sounded like it was going to give up at any minute (we were on 8th floor). Two queen beds were extremely crowded - couldn't wheel a suitcase between bed and tv. Mold on bathtub tile. The attacged restaurant, The Pantry, didn't inspire confidence -- carpeted floors were filthy! Desk clerks were fine. I think we could have had a more comfortable […] room at less expense at a Super 8 or equivalent. So, I wouldn't recommend this one even for the one night before catching a plane out in the morning. Hotel is very clean. Friendy are staff. Everything is good. Except no microwave.
"Convenient, you pay what you get."
Stay two nights at the Travelodge Vancouver. It locates just around the corner off the highway ramp, yet not a lot of highway traffic noise. The clerks are really friendly and the services are good. Since the hotel has been there for a while, need some minor up keep and cleaning on the public area, like some paint touch up… Overall, I am really satisfy […] with the stay in Travelodge. The only complain I might have is they have the most wimpiest coffee maker in the room. Read more
"Travellodge Vancouver Airport"
Very convenient and comfortable
Airport shuttle service is every half hour. Hotel is on tour company pickup list. Convienent fast food available. Bus and subway is close by. Staff courteous and helpful. Close access to main roads.
"20 min access to downtown; free parking and inet"
great value and easy; good steak house in adjacent property; quick airpor access; some airplane noise but not too much.Unqualified positive recommendation!
"Travel Lodge Vancouver Airport"
Simple, convenient, affordable. Staff was helpful. Very busy and noisy in the lobby. Nothing special but acceptable for the price and great for accessing the airport.
Good place at a good price.
"Very Satisfied"

"Overall pleased."
Hotel room was very large and comfortable. Very close to the airport - within 10 minutes by shuttle. Complimentary shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Staff was very accommodating. Overall pleased.
"Hotel was great, needed some maintenance"
The hotel location was great, convenient 10 minute run to YVR, about 30 minutes to Downtown. Internet might be underpowered for too many users, my room had problems with water going from cold to hot and back to cold and it looked like it might need some maintenance. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
We had the non-smoking room. But the hallway and the bathroom had a very strong smoking smell. The carpet looked dirty. The bath was not very clean. The service was good though. The person who checked us in was very nice and with a great smile. That made us feel very comfortable.
"Travelodge Richmond B.C. convenient for overnight"
The hotel is convenient for an overnight stay, the shuttle bus has a good schedule for the airport. There is a restaurant on sight or within walking distance. The beds are comfortable, standard amenities. The only thing I noticed was the infestation of LADYBUGS, they have,
"upgrade needs"
Hotel should at least has a toilet paper holder in the bathrooms. Coffee maker is in the bathroom. Rooms are very small but fair compared to the price.
A very good hotel with friendly service and nice rooms both for vacation and business travellers

"Great Value Hotel Close To Airport"
Very friendly staff. Manager Mr Khan very helpful and 'hands on'. Really cares about his staff and his guests. Would recommend for an inexpensive, clean, friendly hotel near the airport.
"Travelodge Vancouver airport"
This hotel was a useful base for us when we were exploring Vancouver. Close to Hwy 99 which takes you into Vancouver. The traffic was awful because there are roadworks everywhere & that was the only thing which spoilt our time there. It's difficult getting back to the hotel from Vancouver, as it's not clear where you should come off the highway. The […] hotel should have a detailed map of Richmond showing you how to get back to the hotel after a day in Vancouver. It's much easier from the airport! The hotel stands out so is easy to see when you come back into Richmond! Read more
"Travellodge Vancouver Airport"

We came back that evening had dinner at he resturant and also breakfast the following morning. good meals at a big […] city hotel price. 2 of our traveling partners cougt the complimetary shuttle to the airport while we went to see more sights. we were very satisfied with our stay. "long way from downtown vancouver"
the hotel was a long way from downtown vancouver which is where i spent most of my vacation time (20-25 min each way). which, incidentally is where all the sites and activities are. but the room, comfort, and service was adequate. the FOOD at the connecting restaurant was TERRIBLE.

"What we expected"
The hotel is really close to the airport, so although we were visiting Vancouver, we picked it because we had a 7 a.m. departing flight. Everything was what we expected. The beds were a little stiff, the TV was small, but the room was clean and had what we needed. The staff was friendly, but when we asked for places to hang out in Vancouver they were […] not very helpful - the hotel is actually in Richmond, so they were only really familiar with their city (understandable). As far as driving to and from Vancouver from here, it was a breeze. Vancouver is minutes away on the highway, and the highway ramps are about a block away from the hotel. One note, I got a smoking room for my boyfriend and it was the smelliest smoking room I have ever stayed in!! We switched rooms within the first hour of checking in, and the hotel staff was very accommodating. Read more
"Short Stay"
Convenient for a short overnight before catching an early morning flght. Pleasant staff, comfortable room.
"Travelodge - near Vancouver Airport"
Great staff to greet us and take care of requests! The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed in it. We even had a pretty decent view! The halls look a bit shabby but the staff more than made up for that.
"Pre-cruise stay"
Spent three days at the Travelodge prior to our cruise departure and found everything to be at our liking. Price was not overvalued and although not necessarily convenient to our sightseeing was just what we wanted price wise. Restaurant was also very good and ate every breakfast there. Would stay again.
"Small rooms"
Only complaint is that the hotel rooms are tiny. Also the Pantry that is in the hotel is HORRIBLE, the food is terrible and the service is even worse.
