We were very pleased with the hotel for the price we paid. We unexpectedly had to leave town for an emergency and booked the room about one day in advance. For what we paid on that short of notice we couldn't have been happier. We had stayed in this area of Mobile before (Tillman's Corner) and have never had any trouble.

I like the environment here; everything is clean, at least to me. I don't care if the coffee maker is usable or if the carpet is a little damaged, if the room itself is CLEAN. Their breakfast saved my time and dollars.

Noisy noisy noisy, the other guests ran and screamed all night long and the staff did nothing. The pillows smelled bad and the shower faucet dripped all night. Good thing it was easy to find right off the interstate and plenty dinning near.

The sheets and pillows were old. Not that they weren't clean, they were just obviously old, to the point that the pillows were flat. Also, the "continental breakfast" consists of old plain bagels, dry bread, and some rather bland cereals. Skip it, go to McDonald's and spent $2 on something with flavor. The elevator was broken down when we arrived and […] remained broken when we left, but sometimes mechanical failures happen and I can overlook that, if only the rest of the stay were satisfactory. The hotel was dingy and "being renovated." The clerk at the front desk was quite helpful but the hotel in general looked run down. The sheets were stained and old. The air conditioner had mildew on the vent. I would only recommend this hotel as a last resort.

After reading the reviews we figured this was as good a place as any to stay. We were only staying the night and knew we wouldn't be there a long time. Just walking in we were completely on edge. We didn't even bring our suitcases in, as it was so nasty feeling inside. The sheets were clean but not anywhere near clean enough. staff was very nice, quiet place, not a lot of people at this particular place. Hallways smelled of smoke and even the non smoking room smelled of smoke. Easy access to resturants, etc.

For the price the room was fine. The room was very clean , the sheets were new and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner in the room was turned off when we went inside and the outside temperature was around 97. The room felt like an oven and when my husband told the front desk, all she said was sorry. It didn't take long for the air conditioner […] to cool the room but it wasn't a good start. We were sad to see our hotel. First of all, not to anyone's fault, this hotel & all the surrounding hotels had been inundated with oil rig workers & workers of the oil spill.
