Quiet, decent location. The rooms were a little old but fairly clean and quiet.

I have stayed at various Sleep Inns and have not had a problem. This location looked well kept on the outside. Inside it was dated. The was a layer of dust on the furniture. We were in a non-smoking room and the hall and room reeked of smoke.

Clean room, nice staff, easy to find, not far from USC. At 4AM the alarm in the room next door started going off and kept me up until I called the front desk. The continental breakfast was nothing special.

clean room, "real" sheets!, good customer service and attention, but could be more friendly and welcoming. I liked to be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome that says " I'm glad you're here". Not "wait, and someone will be here to check you in, in a minute" when there isn't anyone else around. Must be staffing problems, but could have made up for it by just being a little more warm and welcoming. Everything else was more than expected, and attention was prompt.

I was there for a one night stay, not expecting to much truthfully, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel, room, and bedding were clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very nice. The renovations have really done the property justice.

Our room was a smoking, two queen bed room. Unlike most smoking rooms, this didn't have the lingering smell of an old ashtray..it was clean and fresh. The beds were incredibly comfortable with four (down filled ?) pillows on each. There was a spacious shower with good water pressure and an adjustable five-setting massaging head. The vanity/sink area is separate from the commode and shower. There was a nice little microwave and refrigerator in the room...which came in very handy for our two night stay. The room was very nice...the people we encountered during our stay were very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The information on this hotel indicated remodeling in 2007. The particular room that I was in did not look like it had been updated. Lobby was dirty and needed paint. I only stayed one night so it was not big deal. The complimentary breakfast was good.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Easy to find and easy access to highways. Nice restaurants in the area. My wife also found nice mall near by. Good breakfast. Clean rooms and very friendly staff. Comfortable beds. We will stay here again in our next visit to Columbia.

This hotel is one of the best for the price I paid. Very clean rooms and very friendly staff. Conventiently located, easy to find, lots of nice restaurants and shopping area near by. Very confortable beds. Nice morning breakfast. We came to Columbia to watch Gamecocks game and it was fun. My wife had to do some shopping and we found nice mall near by also.

A buddy of mine were traveling and decided to stay here for the price and we were rewarded with beds that were to die for and the convienience of in room internet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for affordability and comfort.

service was not nice at all, i ask for a bathroom with a tub and i got a shower,you need 2 check this hotel before rating, bathroom was not clean,the room itself was not that clean,I reported it to front office and in so many words they said deal went it, i could not get another room is what they told me at the frontdesk, i miss judged this hotel base on the ratings and the NAME OF THE HOTEL,I have stayed at (Sleep Inn) before, I NEVER stayed at one in this condition before and i will never stay there again or in a SLEEP in HOTEL

The Sleep Inn in Columbia, SC...........we only stayed one night - but the hotel staff was efficient when we checked in....the room was clean.....internet access was available in the lobby - it was very nice for the price. We will definitely stay again at the Sleep Inn.

I wasn't expecting the room to be anything other than average according to the photo's on-line, which did not do the hotel much justice however, much to my surprise the room was very clean and comfortable and very convienant to the interstate for travel. The only downsize was the TV was old and the picture was faded and dull. Some of the main furniture like the stand for TV, night stand and other furnishings are outdated. But all in all I had a comfortable stay and would reccommend to friends and family.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I asked the Hispanic staff for more towels and did not receive anymore towels. I was not sure if that was a language barrier or what. It was not a big deal that I did not receive any more towels. It is a very nice hotel and I would encourage others to stay here on their visit to or through the columbia area.

Hotel and staff were good, we did not receive our wakeup call one morning which tends to create a hurry up type situation and start the day off wrong. All else was really good. However we went to the hotel site to book and ended up booking via you which we weren't aware of. We therefore couldn't receive our military discount, nor could I settle the bill upon checking out which we did not care for.

I booked a room for 2 nights, but then my plans changed and I only needed the room for the first night. I tried to get online to cancel the 2nd night, and I wasn't allowed because I was 22 hours to my check-in time, and didn't give the full 24 hour notice. When I checked in to the hotel, I tried to cancel the 2nd night and the Front Desk clerk said I would be able to 1st thing in the morning. First thing in the morning I tried to cancel, and they wouldn't allow it. I travel a lot, and this is the first time I've not been able to cancel a reservation. This is the last time I will ever stay at a Sleep Inn, or use Hotels.com. Both were completely worthless services.

This was a good hotel with a reasonable price. Contenental Breakfast is over at 9 AM so don't sleep in if you want it.
