My overal experience is positive. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was sufficient. Coffee and tea were available around the clock. The only problem was an elevator-it stopped working one moment, and people needed to carry their luggage or to go to another end of the hotel. We found it fixed next morning. We were just looking for a nice place to stay close to the interstate for one night. The rooms were stylish and clean. It was a small room, but not too small. I was worried about hearing the highway or airplanes, but everything was nice and quiet. We also ended up bringing an extra kid than we listed on the reservations and they didn't give us any hassle. […] We wanted to get a roll away cot for him, but they said they didn't have one. It was ok, though as we were able to squeeze up as we had planned to do anyhow. Breakfast was good, and well stocked. The ladies working the breakfast seemed either tired or in a bad mood, but they were cordial nonetheless. I hate to list this since we were satisfied overall, but we did see a cockroach crawl through the room before we left. It is the perfect place if you have an early flight like we did (6am). Close to the airport and food places. When we got there...there were weird people hanging out at the lobby but once we got to the room it was perfect. Nice decorations, cozy and comfortable, and clean.

This hotel was a perfect fit for our stay the night before an early flight. It was very easy to find right off the interstate and very close to the airport. The room had been remodeled and was sufficient. The staff was very helpful. The noise of the interstate traffic was the only negative part of our stay.

I did not read the reviews before booking the hotel. The hotel needs work done and the parking area has not been cleaned in a while. I was definitely not getting a good impression from the hotel. I was desperate for a good night's sleep. I got it and was out of there.

Obviously, a scam, but being awakened from sleep, it is not always the best way to use your head. All I needed was a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable and "no frills" place to sleep for a few hours before an early flight out of NOLA. This hotel exceeded my needs. I have stayed in 3 other hotels in this area rated at 3 stars or higher, and this hotel was comparable at a lower price.

I booked the room on behalf of my in-laws who do not speak English. I called the front desk from long distance and managed to arrange check-in and transportation for them. The desk staff was very accommodating. Room was pretty small but clean. Convenient location, but pretty far from the city.

After I arrived at the transportation center, I tried to phone the hotel for their shuttle, but there wasn't a listing for it. I had to call the hotel and ask them to pick me up, I was told he would be there in 15 minutes. He finally showed up 30 minutes later. On their website it says that they have a free shuttle service 7 days a week, it doesn't […] mention that it runs certain hours. Two days before my flight to come home, I see a little card that says the shuttle hours are 5a-11p. My flight was for 5:10 in the morning. I go to the front desk to discuss this matter anf I get told thar I have to call my own cab and that it costs $15 for a less than 2 mile ride to the airport. I enjoyed my stay at Sleep Inn New Orleans Airport. I stayed 2 nights before my cruise. The location was great and the hotel was very easy to find. The only downfall was that the bathroom area had a moldy stinch. I would still recommend this hotel to other people.

The room was clean, but the room had a godawful smell. The oder smell like mouse droppings or urine. The bedding had cigarette burns on it. The alarm clock didn't work. The room was small, a single person can be comfortable, but not for a couple.

Stayed on 10/1/ 2012 Bang for the buck and vicinity to the airport, I would say DO come and stay at this hotel. There is of course a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport and breakfast. The rooms are good. I will definitely have this hotel in mind for future visits.

I was giving a workshop near the airport. This hotel was great, convenient, and inexpensive. Police Department in the "back yard" gave one some comfort that theft and vandalism was not a problem. Minimal noise.

The check in process was a nightmare. The clerk was having major computer issues. There was big light shining directly into our window. The shower was leaking water everywhere and my wife complained about there being only one mirror in the room. It was misleadingly far from downtown where we needed to be.
