I could not have been happier with my stay. The room was impeccably clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. This is a great bargain in a location that is quiet and close to may surrounding sites. Highly recommend!

Stay was good. Room was a little stuffy and temperature not consistent. Had to turn on AC the 1st night. Indoor pool is always a hit with the kids. The staff was great.

In general the hotel is good, but the beds are not that comfortable. Matresses need to be replaced, as they are too soft and sinking. Other than that, services are good, and the hotel is in good shape.

We had never stayed at a Sleep Inn before and were very pleased with our stay. The beds were very comfortable, the entire hotel was spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. We were upset that the pool rules were not enforced. There were about 10 children screaming in the pool area which echoes terribly. Their parents were not "chaperoning". We wanted to "get away" for the wkend and relax in the hot tub, but it wasn't relaxing at all. We have children ourselves, so we didn't want to complain, but the parents should have […] followed the rules and attended their children or the hotel staff should have done something--it was so loud it could be heard all the way to the front desk. The housekeeping knocked on our door at 9 am asking if they could clean. We weren't ready to leave yet. They asked if they could have the towels at least so they could get a jump start on that. We felt very rushed and thought that it was rude. The brass area surrounding the shower had not been wiped down, there was a long soap streak about an inch wide. It may have been hard to notice because the bathroom was tiny. The lobby was in pretty rough shape and we understand it's under construction. The breakfast was very good. I recently stayed at the Sleep Inn Amherst with my mom and sister while my father was in the hospital and we booked last minute. The staff was very friendly! The hotel was very clean despite the construction they are doing, it was quiet and bright. The continental breakfast is among the best I've had! Highly recommend.

Great hotel for the price. Rooms were modern and comfortable, although shower tap wasn't working properly so only lukewarm water. I stayed at this Sleep Inn while on business, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The only thing that was out of place was they were in the process of remodeling the lobby ( but it is the off season so I understand). The room and service was excellent and located near all major shopping and eateries.

We stayed in Amherst for a business meeting. I had never stayed at a Sleep Inn but I thought from the pictures, the price and the reviews I would book it. SO HAPPY I DID!! They were remodeling the lobby so they set up a desk near the dining area. It didn't affect us at all, they didn't do any remodeling until the afternoon that would interrupt the guests. […] It was great!! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The FREE breakfast was amazing, hot and cold. Couldn't ask for better!! The room was small but very clean. Didn't have a refrigerator but we used the window sill which worked wonders. The hotel had a pool, hot tub and exercise room which we didn't use. Iron and board in the room, along with a coffee maker. The room was nice and clean. They gave me the extra pillows and blanket I had requested. They were in the room when I arrived. Checking in and out was very fast and simple. The price was great too! The breakfast was great! Sausage, 2 kinds, scrambled eggs, an assortment of bagels, mini muffins and doughnuts, waffles, hot and cold cereal, coffee, tea, […] hot chocolate, juice, yogurt and mixed fruit. Free newspaper. Nothing was missing. This was my first time traveling alone in a few years and it definitely was an enjoyable experience. I will stay there again when I am in the area.They are renovating the front entrance but the entrance we used was much closer to parking so it was not a problem. They have a pool but I don't swim. The hotel is easy to find and there is plenty of shopping and eating places just down the road. I would highly recommend this hotel!! Read more

I have stayed at this location twice before and had good experience each time. This time I was less impressed with the service. We booked a multi-day stay and on the first day the room was not cleaned at all. Another day I was in the middle of shaving and the water just stopped. I called down to inquire if there was a problem and was told by the on […] duty manager that they had to shut the water off to our room and an adjoining room for repairs. The was no warning or courtesy phone call to alert us. I had an important business meeting in 45 mins so I needed to finish shaving and shower. I told the manager my situation and he told me that if I came downstairs he would give me a key to another room so I could shower and shave. Really? With a have shaven face face still with shaving cream on it you want me to come to you? That was ridiculous. Why should I have to come to you when your hotel is the one with the issue? lastly, the breakfast service is extremely slow and needs to be addressed. You have 15 people waiting to use 1 toaster or waiting almost 15 minutes for the next batch of eggs or bacon. Is it that hard to keep up with 15 people? The cleaning staff, especially Barb are great. Very friendly and attentive. The on- duty managers could learn a thing or two from them. Read more

This is a very comfortable hotel, we only spent one night , however the service was good enough to go back. The breakfast is very complete, including different juices, variety de bread, fruits and waffles ... It's more than many other hotels offer. The room is quite small but comfortable though.

We stayed for a few hours after arriving in Buffalo very late and needing a place to stay before going to Canada the next day. The location was very convenient. It was right off of the freeway (290) and we easily returned to the route the next morning. The accomodations were better than could have been expected for the price. We stayed here because we were in town for the football game. Hotel was conveniently located near the highway, but not noisy because of it. Front desk staff was not overly friendly, but not rude in any way. Was a good experience overall. Would stay there again.

the entire visit was great, with one exception. On the first evening, we were chilled and wished toi have more blankets. The blankets were noti heavy enough and the decorative cover had noi weight. Very nice hotel, staff was attentive and I felt welcome even though I arrived after 6PM. Very professional. I called down from 4th floor because we did not have a tv remote in our room. Would have been helpful to have better signage directing the guest from the main road back to the hotel. Nice breakfast. Very helpful staff in providing me with a Mapquest of where I had to travel in the city. Would certainly consider staying here again.
