Great hotel rooms were nice. The only thing that could be better would Be the beds they were very hard. My back hurt when I woke up.

A/C in room did not work even after we called to have it repaired. Overall hotel was a bit run down. Pillows on bed were not comfortable. Other guests were complaining of maintenance items as well.

We were very satisfied with our stay; especially the assistance of the front desk staff at check-out. My wife liked the bed pillow so much, with the help of the front desk staff, she was able to buy a brand-new pillow on-site. Location was ok for our purpose - an overnight stay on the way to the Kentucky Derby, and the price was much more reasonable […] than comparable quality properties in downtown Pittsburgh. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. One problem we had was that I booked a handicap accessible shower and a roll away bed but neither were available when we checked in. I had a regular, very normal stay, at this very usual hotel. The location is not very convenient, not very easily accessible even though it is right off a major highway, especially if you miss the turn into the small road to the hotel. Otherwise the hotel is OK. However, my major complaint about the front desk service is when I wanted to sign up for […] their prefer guest program, which after numerous tries I was not able to. First, the front desk rep asked me to put down my email address when I checked in, and she will set me up with the preferred guest program - Not done. So when I arrive home, I still did not receive an email regarding any prefer guest program registration; so I called the main number, front desk. The first call I was put on hold after I explained that I wanted to sign up for the program and that I recently stayed there, and then the phone just hung up. On the second the phone call, the phone picked up, no answer, then just hung up again. I waited 5 minutes or so, called back, and spoke to someone, explaining my experience, and then she gave me the run arounds by putting me on hold twice, then said if I want to sign up for the program I would have to leave her my phone number and she would call me back to get my info...What?! at least, I was nicer than them by telling her to forget it instead of just slamming the phone in her ear like they did me, TWICE. I will NEVER stay anywhere associated with this place again!!! Read more

Due to a light and stop sign arrangement at the end of the ONLY access road, leave 20 minutes to go 150 yards or leave earlier or later!Otherwise nice place. Things I didn't like was first the chair at the desk was broke. Next we got there and the room temp was 60 degrees. We call and a man came and said that the valve was stuck and that he got it to work,but if it got to hot to shut the fan off. Well two hours later it was only up to 68 degrees. Needs to be updated. With all the competition in the area, this hotel better reinvest if they want to keep patrons. The bed was not comfortable and everything in the room was showing it's age. they probably have not updated it since it was opened.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The complimentary water was a nice touch. I travel a lot and most hotels don't do this for their guests. The hotel was beautiful , the only thing I was not thrilled with were the elevators. They seemed old and needing some attention. This made me nervous.

I found the entire staff in the hotel lounge so downtrodden, inattentive, and downright rude that I won't stay there again. If you hate your job go find another one. Room was clean and quiet. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable.

The room never warmed up. Never got above 60 degrees. They told me I should have called down and had maintenance come up to make 'adjustments'. I think if you know a person is coming, you should make sure the room heater is working and the temp is at least 68 at the minimum. First time I ever had a problem there.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The set up is a bit confusing as the reception desk is across the room from the entry doors and the elevators are tucked away behind the banquet halls. When I booked (once again I was tired) I went by the name of "Pittsburgh" and realized afterward that "Pittsburgh North" means Mars, Pennsylvania. I have stayed at this hotel two years in a row. The only problem I found in the room was the difficulty to regulate the heat. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the staff and breakfast room. I did not take advantage of the swimming pool or exercise room. My nephews enjoyed the swimming pool.
