Said they could accomodate 5 but then wanted to charge an additional $30 for a roll-a-way. Charged an additional $10 to self park car in a very crowded lot far away, then another $15 for things we never used. Could not watch "general TV". Everything was a charge. Pool was nice. But too many extra fees for what you get. Will not stay again.

Hadn't stayed at an onsite hotel in prior visits to Disney, but will definitely do so in the future. Great to be able to break up day at the parks to change clothes, freshen up, and give your feet a rest. Hotel staff was very friendly and accessible. Room was clean, nicely decorated, bathrooms could use updates. Overall, very pleased. As an FYI, valet parking is $16/day, self-park $10/day.

After staying at both The Swan and Dolphin hotels in the past year, I must say that for the money, invest at a Disney hotel...i.e The Boardwalk or Yacht Club, Port Orleans, Contemporary, etc. These two are not owned by Disney and there is evidence of this. MANY MANY convetioneers, which made this feel "un-Disney-esque". They're nice hotels and we enjoyed them however, for the price we paid, we will take our money to a real Disney hotel. Not unhappy with the place, just better to be had when you're looking for a Disney feel.

I would recommend because the good outweighed the bad but would likely spend my food dollars elsewhere.

Requested a room with king bed, however, unavailable, so without hesitation, they offered a room with balcony and beautiful view of EPCOT! Glad the king room was not available! Only concern was valet a bit rude and check in was a bit slow. Can't let two very small things overshadow the hospitality , comfort, and location of the rest of the experience! At check in, AFTER everything else is done, the clerk slides a piece of paper to me and sheepishly explains that a $10 charge will also be added to my bill... for things that "most guests use"... and that it will be added whether or not I use the items - no choice. The list is: 2 bottles of water, use of the fitness room, internet, ... (mostly things I would not have used. Basically, they nickle and dime the customer for an extra $10/day). I'm disappointed in Disney for this policy to steal $10 from their customers.

Hotel was very nice and location for our visit to Disney was perfect. Hotels.com had alerted us to the additional $9 per day for parking - nice, attended lot, a decent value. However, when we checked in we were charged an additional $10 a day for what the hotel calls their Convenience Package. This fee is mandatory. It includes 2 bottles of water each day, access to the fitness facility, some long distance and local calling, and some internet access. We were unable to take advantage of most of these options and unhappy about the undisclosed fee. We still had a wonderful time and would still rate the hotel highly. Just call and ask about any additional fees prior to booking.

We paid about 1/3 of the regular rate for this hotel through hotels.com. The Dolphin is a lovely hotel, the room was nice, the pools are fantastic and laid out perfectly so that the pool area isn't too crowded. They have great games and activities for children. The best thing about this hotel is its location. We love taking the ferry over to the Boardwalk or Epcot. The Swan and Dolphin is our first choice for on-site Disney hotels and resorts. The only negative is that the hotel room smelled somewhat moldy, but other than that, we're looking forward to staying here again very soon.

The Dolphin is a great hotel and you can't beat the location - right off Disney's Boardwalk. The hotel has spacious, comfortable rooms with refrigerators and coffee makers. I received a great rate and couldn't pass it up for a weekend at the Wine and Food Festival. Having stayed there before I knew about the $10 per night parking fee, but the latest surprise was a $10 per night mandatory, resort fee. Hey, that covered two, 12 oz bottles of water along with a list of amenities already included. By the way, this fee is specifically for those booking rooms via a travel website like Hotels.com.

It has always been my dream to stay at the Dolphin right in the heart of the parks. The hotel is beautiful, everything I thought it would be. However, the reason we were able to stay there was because we got a great rate, I know I would never pay their regular rates to stay there, and as warned in a previous review, they do have "hidden charges". The convenience of the location is great, but don't plan on using the pools if you go to the parks, their pools close at 9!
