"Great Disney hotel that lives and breaths Disney"
I can't get over the great service you get at a Disney property, from the person at the front desk, to the exceptional service from the people in Guest Services. You can't go wrong with Disney... ever!Genuine Expedia guest review
One thing that I don't like is the bathroom .. It's not bad generallyGenuine Expedia guest review
"Cost adds up quickly"
Pros: The lobby area and hotel in general was very nice. Great restaurants on location. Location to Boardwalk and Epcot is great - 5-10 minute walk. Cons: The cost was higher than expected once everything was added in: Parking, Resort Fee (which is for things included in the default for other hotels like wireless internet). The room itself was nothing […] special - bathroom was very small and cramped. Cleanliness was fine. It definitely seems to specialize for conferences and not so much for families on vacation. Next time will stay a mile away at a Hilton for half the price and free breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Epcot Hotel"
Hotel is busy but organized. Rooms were clean but a little dated. Walking distance to Epcot World Showcase. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location! Clean rooms. Smelly elevators."
Gorgeous hotel, great location! Had. Wonderful time. Food isn't worth the money, elevators smelled a little weird. Other than that, pleasant stay! Would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend.Genuine Expedia guest review
Beautiful hotel and all the employees were very helpful and friendly. Although, very pricy for all the extras......valet, resort fee, restaurants, bottle of water, etc. Also I could not figure out what the smell was in all the elevators.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Perfect for,Disney parks, easy transportation throughout disney.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean hotel close to parks"
This hotel is excellent as it is close to the parks, a boat ride or a bus ride away. Two out of the 4 parks Are on the boat route. The pools are clean and lovely to sit around at. I'd recommend this hotel more for adults coming together vs. Families however because there isn't any characters and the Mixkey vibe isn't there. Was perfect for my husband […] and I. "Great weekend away"
Great hotel that is a short walk to Epcot - without all the hustle and bustle of an official Disney resort hotel (although it is on Disney property). Any type of restaurant is here - and I highly recommend Bluezoo.Genuine Expedia guest review

the hotel was nice, there are no noise barriers in the hotel, when guests and staff are communicating it is like they are in the same room with you instead of the hallwayGenuine Expedia guest review

Great hotel, needs a renovation, but the staff and the hotel are both great.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent location, but not as nice as expected"
Opened our curtains to find our view was a concrete block wall, and a rooftop that was FILLED with cigarette butts and garbage, that had accumulated over significant time. The staff was very hesitant to allow us to switch rooms and said they would rather clean the roof of the 5th story rooftop. How were they going to get someone out there to clean, […] when our window did not even open? Bring in a crane? We finally convinced them to allow us to change rooms and found the next room had a lovely view of the giant water fountain at the front of the resort that was filled with algae and mildew. Even the bathroom grout was dirty and moldy. Not what we would have expected from a $200+ per night room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"WALKING DISTANCE TO EPCOT AND HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS"
NICE RESTAURANTS, BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS, VERY COMFORTABLE ROOMS, WELL COVERED AREAS FOR ALL TRANSPORTATION LOCATIONS. AS IN BUSES, BOATS ETCGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very Close to EPCOT"
Overall, we enjoyed our overnight stay. The hotel was nice, comfortable, and just a short launch (boat) ride away from Disney's Boardwalk and EPCOT Park saving us the hassle of driving and parking. The hotel had quite a few restaurants to choose from. The room's accommodations were comfortable, though I was a bit surprised the room did not have pictures […] on the walls, so it seemed a little stark. The view from our window was excellent. I should point out the hotel is (I believe) on DIsney property but is actually a Sheraton hotel rather than a Disney hotel. That means our room keys could not be used in the Disney Parks to charge to our room. Not a big deal since major credit cards are accepted, but it is a little perk we take advantage of when we do stay at a Disney hotel. But again, we enjoyed our stay and would return to the Dolphin again in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pool closed but nice hotel"
Our room was nice and in great condition. It was disappointing that the main pool was closed for a special event when we wanted to go swimming. We were able to use the swan pool, but it was very crowded due to the big pool being closed. The one other thing about this hotel is that the hallways and elevators smelled kind of weird/bad. They smelled like […] a restaurant and old food. Overall we had a nice stay and the location and proximity to Epcot were awesome! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Loved my stay!"
The hotel was amazing and the staff even better, I only wish I'd of had even more time to explore. I ordered food service, and everything tasted great. Room was very clean and the staff not only helpful, they made me feel like they were happy I was there.Genuine Expedia guest review
"beautiful hotel close to all parks"
The Hotel was very nice and staff were wonderful. The only thing that I did not like was I had to pay for parking every day of $16 and they also charged me $20 per day for room fees. I think that both of those charges should have been included in the price of the hotel, as it was not cheap to stay at this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Upscale hotel in the middle of Disney World"
First time at the Walt Disney World Dolphin while celebrating 25th wedding anniversary and would recommend to anybody. Handy location situated between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios with boat ferry service to both. Room was nice and staff friendly and helpful throughout facility. 24hr snack bar made sense and although we felt as though we needed to use […] valet service given distance to self-parking price was reasonable and staff very attentive. Very good Spa facilities on site combined with other resources at the resort makes it a place to visit and stay unto itself before venturing out to the surrounding Disney attractions. "Sad shape of this nice "looking" hotel"
The staff at the Dolphin were great and very polite. The hotel is really starting to show wear and tear. The elevators actually smelled like "live stock" or just plain nasty. Our room was small and we ask for queen beds however room had double beds and we could not change when I ask. The Dolphin looks really nice and the location is wonderful. Going […] forward I will never stay at this hotel on future trips. The Disney "all star" resorts are truly 5 star when compared to the Dolphin. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We booked two bedrooms. When we wanted to go to sleep, we realized one of the beds was wet! We stayed 4 nights and the extra charges were huge. I just think that if some charges are not optional and you have to pay them whether you use it or not, they should be included in the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Always stay here"
We stay here once a month to take the kids to Disney. Such a great location, you can walk to Epcot, or take the boat to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. They also have buses to all the parks. The beds are the most comfortable in town (other than the Ritz) The restaurants are always great, as in the in room dining. The only issue I have is that the cafeteria […] now charges a service charge....considering you get the room yourself it makes no sense! "Disappointed in Housekeeping"
This was my first time at the Dolphin. I typically stay at the Disney resorts using my Disney Vacation Club points, but this was a first, and probably the last, time I chose to stay at the Dolphin. Upon arrival after check in time, we were told our rooms were ready. However, only one room was cleaned. We were told that housekeeping would attend to the […] other room right away, but two and half hours later, no one came and no one bothered to contact us. Another trip to the front desk resulted in getting a new room assigned to us (I do not know why that was not done earlier). The next day, after leaving our rooms at 730 am, and arriving back at 630 pm, both of our rooms had not been cleaned. Another trip to the front desk to complain about this. Someone showed up at 900 pm to attempt to clean the room, but I had to tell them not to bother at that point. The halls were filthy (needed a vacuuming desperately) compared to other Disney properties and it seems like they have an overall housekeeping labor relations problem. Location was the only bright spot of the stay there, all else was dissappointing. Rooms were worn and showing their age. Would not recommend staying here if other Disney property hotels are available. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice hotel"
This was a very nice hotel with a connecting sister hotel which provided multiple options for eating, dinning, recreation, and entertainment. You can walk from the hotel to Epcot and Boardwalk, very convenient. Bus service from the hotel to other Disney parks was excellent. "Great Disney Resort"
I travel to Disney twice a year and have stayed at most of the properties. I stayed at Dolphin Easter weekend 2014 and was very happy with my selection. I was able to secure a very good rate. This hotel is at a great location on Disney property- near all major attractions. The hotel does not have the typical feel of 'Disney' like other properties do, […] so it may not be for you. the pool certainly makes up for it! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good All Around"
Friendly Staff, clean room although I didnt like the layout of the bathroom area. A lot of waste space in the room we had. Bed was comfortable. Ate at BlueZoo, the Todd English restaurant and it was fantastic! That was the highlight of our stay. Great location if you plan on attending Epcot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel, convenient to Disney and Orlando"
The Hotel and convention center are well organized, convenient, clean and there are lots of amenities (restaurants, shops, workout facility etc.) within and nearby the facility. The Hotel is within the Disney compound, so getting to and from Disney attractions (The Boardwalk, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, etc.) is very easy. Disney provides free transportation […] (boat, bus etc.) to all attractions and some you can actually walk to. Non-Disney attractions and Orlando itself are fairly easy to drive to as well. The Hotel has convenient self or valet parking. Be warned however that all of this convenience comes at a price, this place is not cheap. The only bad experience, the restaurants are not prepared to deliver gluten free food items, even though they are on many menus. One example, I ordered the gluten free pancakes in the Mediterranean restaurant, and received 3 crispy on the outside, uncooked on the inside wafers of varying sizes, not fit for human consumption. The staff were apologetic but clearly had no clue as to how to prepare gluten free items. They should either get serious about addressing this issue or remove gluten free items from their menus. "Too many conference people"
After having to switch rooms, They had to close the pool early for a conference with 3,000 people, which ruined my relaxing day from the parks. The Hotel was over crowded with people staying up until 2am drinking and loudly talking in the halls after the conferences.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel close to Disney parks."
A nice Disney resort which offers complimentary transportation to all Disney theme parks, via bus or boat. Also, a short walk to the Disney Boardwalk. The staff is friendly, and the room accommodations are comfortable. Highlights included Shula's Steakhouse and the health club. The resort really needs a Starbucks. The closest one is about a twenty […] minute walk near the main entrance of Epcot Center. This walk is way too far in the Florida humidity. In LA, we are used to having at least one Starbucks in every neighborhood. My small suburb has at least fifteen. It is not enough to say the hotel offers instant Starbucks coffee. Many guests, such as myself, crave Starbucks Fraps. especially in the Florida heat. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location in Disney"
Best stay. Only complaint is Disney bus transportation. Buses are un-safely overloaded, exit doors blocked with strollers and passengers. A scary situation in the event of an accident. This happens every time we use the bus. One of the reasons we stayed at the dolphin is to avoid using the bus transportation. Other than downtown Disney and animal kingdom, […] you can use the water taxi and monorail. Hope someone at Disney looks into making changes in busing before someone is hurt. Room ready upon arrival, Very clean, ordered extra bed. Minor Problem with toilet, was fixed promptly. Four nite stay....able to walk or ride Boat to Epcot. Bus available to Disney downtown. "Great location close to Epcot"
Great place to stay if you are going to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. You can walk to both in about 15 minutes or take the free ferry boat. The free Disney shuttle bus takes you to the Magic Kingdom, Downtown Disney or the Wild Animal Park. You can take advantage of the Fast Pass+ and the extra hours for Disney Resort guests. Between the Dolphin and the […] Swan you have restaurants that will please everyone in your party. If you have young children, the weekend character breakfast at the Garden Grove at the Swan will give your kids a chance to take photos with a couple of Disney characters without having to wait in long lines at the parks. The breakfast buffet was $23 and the food was fine. My daughter also enjoyed the swimming pools and water slide, shared by both hotels. The Swan and the Dolphin are nice as they are not so spread out so you don't have to walk so far to get from one end of the hotel to the other. One difference between the two is the Dolphin has two double beds which is fine for most people, and the Swan has two queen beds. We were in the east wing which is slightly farther from the bus pick up area, the ferry boat dock and restaurants. We were able to check in at 8:00am so we were fine with the location. We were also able to get a late check out which was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, exactly what you expect from Disney. We enjoyed our stay and would probably stay at the Swan or Dolphin on any future visit. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent Hotel & Disney World Experience*****"
Our stay at the Dolphin was an overall EXCELLENT experience-FIVE Stars. We made special requests prior to check in and once we were registered and in our room, ALL our requests for special accommodations were addressed by Richard, the Manager of Guest Services and his Staff, with resolutions that exceeded our expectations! The room was clean, the linens […] new, the bed very comfortable and the view from our balcony was lovely. The Dolphin has awesome Guest Services, Staff, Food and Amenities all wrapped up in a beautiful and serene Tropical Island atmosphere. You get the Disney World benefits of onsite ticketing, Extra Magic Hours at the Parks, Disney Fast Pass Service in the Park and complimentary transportation on the Ferry Boat, Busses or Boardwalk to the Parks. Over the past 25+ years of Vacations and Birthday visits for my Daughter to Disney World, we have always stayed at the Contemporary, Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, Grand Floridian or Bay Lake Towers. We have never stayed at the Dolphin before, but we WILL stay at the Dolphin again! It was a wonderful experience and we all can't wait until the summer so we can return to the Dolphin again for our next Disney World Vacation!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to parks bit hidden fees Everywhere!"
We are Disney pass holders and have stayed at just about every Disney hotel. The Dolphin seems like a good deal on expedia, but is the same price as a Disney Delux hotel--if not more after the hotel applies it's hidden fees. It also took 30 minutes of waiting in line before we could check in. The hotel is dated and bathrooms need a re-do. Room was very […] humid and the AC never really cooled down. Our major complaint is there are hidden fees and taxes every time you turn around! Add 75-100$ to the advertised expedia price in fees and taxes for a one night stay! Honestly, we were very surprised by the condition of our room. The floor in the entryway and the bathroom was so dirty and gross that our boys even commented on how nasty it was. The sheets on one of our beds were stained...gross! We wouldn't stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
I found the hotel staff helpful, but not very knowledgeable. While they TRY to answer questions, they need more training regarding specifics. They are there every day and should know more about the parks, transportation, rules and regulations than they seem to.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The location of the Dolphin and Swan hotels is fantastic. We walked to Epcot and Hollywood Studios - so convenient even if you just want to take the day off and see one of the evening shows.
