"Comfortable and Convenient"

The staff were very friendly and the room surprisingly spacious. Great, comfortable bed and good black out curtains. Despite being right in the airport, the hotel was very quiet. The location could not be more convenient; from arrivals you pretty much walk straight into the hotel. We had an early morning flight and staying at this hotel meant an extra hour of sleep and no stress of having to rush for a train or getting stuck in traffic.

After 10 days touring southern Italy, the sheraton was an oasis. The Italian drivers all named Mario gave us concerns while in Italy, so not having to leave the area in an auto was a nice finish to our trip home. Everything except the price for breakfast the next morning were great.

"Ideal for transiting and possibly sightseeing"

My wife and I chose this hotel as we were ending our Baltic cruise in Amsterdam Port and returning home to Spain very early the following day. The access to the hotel is directly from (and in) the airport concourse so inclement weather is no problem - 5 minutes easy walk (with two cases). We spent only from 1300 on 6/9/09 to 0515 on 7/9/09 and had a light lunch, evening drinks and dinner (we had a table by the massive windows overlooking the airport activity), all very good in a fine situation. Our room was silent despite having an excellent view of the aircraft stands and taxi-ing area. Our one disappointment was that our bathroom, which had a full bath and separate shower cubicle, had no shower gel supplied and a towel was missing. These omissions were resolved within minutes.

Carpet,walls, mattress are worn out, rooms and corridors need face lifting , seems not much has been done , other than lobby and restaurant ,since inauguration which believe has been over 10 years

exellent location regarding public transportation ( national and international ,trains .busses,taxis etc ) rooms are soundproof and very quite very helpfull staff plenty of stores ,restaurants,all in walking distance ,and you dont need to go outside like to visit this hotel definitly again

The wireless internet service is very poor. I chose the 1 hour for 10 Euro option, and psent most of the 60 minutes trying to maintain the connection. In the end I did not get anything for my 10 Euros.

"5 minutes walking distance way from the airports security check"

If you have an early departure the next morning then this hotel is my choice in Amsterdam. It’s on the airport and you stay inside on your walk to the security check. It’s also only a 5 minutes walk to the speed train to the centre of Amsterdam and it takes about 25 minutes by train. I’ve stayed at this hotel two times already and I will absolutely stay there again if I have an early departure later on.

Der var to ting som har skuffet mig mest: 1. Jeg har bestilt et værelse med to senge, men har fået en dobbeltseng i stedet 2. Det var næsten umuligt at bruge badeværelset - vandet stod i badekar, brusekar og vasken. Jeg har fortalt om problemmet i receptionen og de lovede at fikse det, men det har de aldrig gjort. Man forventer lidt mere fra en 5-stjerne hotel.
