      Being a new hotel that just opened recently the quality of service from servers at the 3 restaurants I ate at needs improvement. On multiple occassions it took a long time to receive the bill (up to 20 minutes), drink refills or other requests. The main buffet restaurant could offer more western options as well because sometimes this was very limited depending on the day. Aside from restaurant service improvements the hotel was excellent.

      Tha Aloft Chennai was clean. The service was good. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The dinner I bought in the the same restaurant was not very good and over priced. The pool is clean and pleasant. The spa was excellent. Overall, a good stay and I would go there again.

      Every amenity you could wish for was provided. But it was the staff, I believe, that made this hotel so remarkable. They were all so attentive, smart, and efficient. They would think of things I might like even before I thought of them. And I'm ver grateful. There is no other hotel in Chennai that can match it, I'm certain.

    The staff was all so wonderful. We had the hotel driver Ravi as our taxi driver he took excellent care of us and took us to the non tourist parts were... we had some of our best meals and did the best shopping. The floor attendant Maramustha spelling might be wrong took excellent care of us. Mishu I forget her title she was very nice and a pleasure to work with.
