The hotel was very nice and the staff was extremely courteous. Our room was not the one I had booked online. I booked a 2 bdrm suite and we were given a 1 bdrm suite. The staff was able to move us to the correct room. However, we had to pay an additional $20 for the upgrade. The staff apologized for the problem and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good and had a large variety of items.

"Average at best"
an average hotel, the pictures make it look A LOT nicer then it is, not worth what they are charging
Our room wasn't available at 3 check in So they gave us a Room on the 1 st floor no balcony/patio.the only room ready at the time. We heard every car drive down the parking garage next to the room. ( the parking garage is attached. Other than that the hotel is beautiful just not the part we were in. The pool is lovely. Make sure to ask about events […] at the hotel there was a dance competition/volleyball tournaments when we were there =lots of kids everywhere. Read more
"PERFECT COMPETITION WEEKEND"
WE STAYED FOR A DANCE COMPETITION....THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT THEY CATERED WELL TO ALL THE YOUNG PEOPLE. OUR ROOM WAS SO COMFORTABLE, HOTEL WAS EASY TO FIND. THE INDOOR POOL WAS QUITE A PLUS. ONLY FAULT WAS THE RESTURANTS SERVICE WAS SLOW...WOULD DEFINETELY STAY AGAIN!
Very nice. All staff was very curtious and helped in any way they could. We really enjoyed it and would stay again.
"Great service"
We had great service ...great food...but the rooms were very dated.
Hard to access. Pool area is very nice. Very noisy for where our room was located in the bldg.
"Awesome stay"
It was a pleasure to stay in the Sheraton! I would stay here again and again.
"Friendly Staff"
Everyone on the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We were able to get an early check-in on a busy weekend.
"Better options in downtown Atlanta"
One of those hotels that tries to get you in the door with a lower room rate and then charges you extra for everything - no complimentary breakfast, no free parking and even the internet is $13 a day! Crappy neighborhood, too - dangerous even. There's a club across the street that they highly advise guests not to go in. Nothing really within walking […] distance. You'd be better off staying at a hotel by the stadium - we found GREAT restaurants and bars over there. Read more
"Dont Stay Here"
The worst hotel stay we have ever had. We left a day early because we just couldn't take anymore. Everyday was a different problem. Terrible rooms, billing, Keys that didn't work and couldn't be fixed. Billed again even though it was prepaid. Bad location, it is not walking distance to main attractions. Rooms were not cleaned after being gone all day. […] Rude front desk. It goes on and on. Called prior to arrival to make requests and they could't access my reservation. Read more

"Convienant location"
We had a choice between the Sheraton or the Westin (the Westin was only a few dollars more a night) we chose the Sheraton. When we first arrived I told the gentleman at the front desk we were checking in.. He was counting money and did not acknowledge me for a good minute or 2 until he was done. The room was a view of a street. And it was very loud. […] When I moved my pillow on the bed, the dust from the end table was flying everywhere. The light in the bathroom and the tissue holder were also covered in dust. The drain stopper in the tub did not work and water took a solid 5 minutes to get warm. We decided to get a movie off the tv the last night that we were paying good money for. It wouldn't work so we called the front desk. They said they'd have someone right up. 30 mins later we tried again and it worked. Nobody came by or called to tell us they fixed it elsewhere. It was a pretty convienant location but if I could do it over again I would pick the Westin (it was in the center of downtown instead of on the outskirts) for the amount of noise we heard in our room we may as well have been in the center of downtown. "You pay for the location"
We stayed in a standard room, which was still a pretty high price. We definitely were paying for the location, not the amenities. The room itself was very clean, but one of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The location was nice, it was a short walk to restaurants and bars. We were in town to visit the Philips Arena, and that walk was a […] little farther than we expected. Overall, the hotel is clean and convenient. If you want a big room, splurge for a deluxe room. You might actually get a microwave and fridge in those rooms, too. Read more
"Sheraton Atlanta Downtown"
The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to all of the in demand restaurants as well as Philips Arena (where we were going for a concert). They allow pets which was a plus since we had to bring our dog. There was a fee, but it wasn't horribly expensive. We will definitely stay here ag […] ain! Read more

"SHERATON HOTEL"
This was the best stay ever! Nice balcony with a view, the staff was friendly and eager to please, the restaurant was fabulous, and the bed...OMG! We ate at the resturant in the hotel, the meal was delicious and the space was cozy and romantic. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. "Sheraton in downtown Atlanta"
A really nice hotel that located close to most of the must-see sites. A very modern and comfortable hotel with good dining options.
The Sheration was very clean. I was there for my birthday stayed there before when i went to a hawks game. The buffet was good. Our room came with free self parking then when we got ready to go they wannna us to pay 22.00 my husband got mad but the manager on duty took care of that they need to have a way you wouldn't haven't to deal with mix up while […] you are on a special day. IT'S ALWAYS A GREAT EXPERIENCE STAYING HERE. EVERYONE IS VERY CUSTOMER SERVICE DRIVEN. I LOVE IT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND I WILL BE BACK AGAIN.
"Very enjoyable stay"
I was very pleased with my stay at the Sheraton Hotel Downtown. Booking with Hotels.com, I feel we got a good deal. Our rate included parking, full breakfast, and internet in the room. Great weekend.
"A delight to stay at the Downtown Atlanta Sheraton"
It is always a delight to stay at the Downtown Atlanta Sheraton. People are very helpful and the rooms are very comfortable. I would recommend it highly to anyone. The only thing that was less than excellent was the restaurant (Fandangles).Sadly, it was mediocre and slow the last two times we stayed at the hotel (though several years ago it was very […] good). "Atlanta"
We were there for a bowl game so it was very crowded. But the staff at the hotel was very pleasant and helpful - especially the concierge. Not much to do in downtown Atlanta.
"Atlanta Sheraton Downtown Hotel"
Pretty basic - convenient self-parking was nice. Convenient to downtown and not a bad walk to Dome, Centennial Park, Phillips Arena. Was there on New Year's Eve, and the immediate surrounding blocks were kinda sketchy - maybe just NYE, but next time I will stay a few blocks towards the Dome.

"Sheraton @ Courtland Street"
This was my first visit to this location and I was pleasantly surprised. I truly enjoyed the hotel's layout and various areas to conduct business (via the internet or using the phone). I WILL BE BACK!!!
"Outstanding Customer Service"
EVERY Single hotel employee was absolutely superb. The service was impeccable. I was staying at the hotel for my Mary Kay Leadership conference and I was treated so well. Thank you Atlanta Sheraton!! You will see me again when I'm in town.

A beautiful hotel! The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. I highly recommend this hotel. However, if you are planning to walk to the GWCC, Georgia Dome, or Philip's Arena, be prepared for a bit of walk!
"Quality hotel & good food but a few service issues"
PROS: Stayed here for the Passion 2012 conference and the hotel was fairly convenient to/from the MARTA, Georgia Dome, and downtown. Walked in and was impressed by the check in, concierge help, and friendliness of all the staff. Ate at all 3 of the hotel's restaurants with great experiences (good waitstaff, yummy food). They accommodated our request […] for a corner room (more spacious) & the 10th floor was fairly quiet as we were away from the elevators in the South Tower. Beds were very comfy, loved the Starbucks coffee in the rooms, and the "Go Green" initiative where they reward your decision to refuse housekeeping services with a $5 voucher/day was great. Thank you for keeping the fitness center open 24 hrs a day!! CONS: We asked for a fridge in our room which was promptly provided for a small fee. The first evening we walked 25 min in the cold to the nearest grocery store to buy sandwich stuff and fresh produce. After stocking the fridge (leaving it on the lowest cold setting) and heading to bed, we were very disappointed upon awakening to find all of our food frozen. We immediately notified the front desk and asked for a replacement fridge. They volunteered to come right then at 0700, but we asked if they would wait 1 hour until we had left for our conference, so they promised to replace it as soon as possible. We unplugged it to allow things to thaw,(assuming the food would be refrigerated again within a few hrs) & left a note on top to please move the food and set the new fridge to the lower settings. When we returned several hours later, we were dismayed to find everything exactly how we had left it. The same fridge, unplugged & off, the note still there.... we went back down to the front desk where they said "It should have been replaced." We told them why we thought it wasn't and if they could confirm that it was a different one (why would you replace it and leave it off/unplugged???). The manager kept saying "Well, it should have been replaced." Finally, t Read more
"Sheraton Atlanta downtown good experience"
We were in town for the bowl game. Location was in easy walking distance from all the festivities. Staff is friendly and helpful; room was clean and well equiped. Nice exercise facility. Room was a bit hot . I'd like to see free in-room internet, and less expensive parking. Walking to and from our car in their garage was dicey as pedestrians must share […] narrow passages with vehicles. Overall we were happy with our stay. Read more

"Don't Stay Here -"
I thought I was getting a good price staying at The Sheraton downtown, but the website didn't mention that there was a $30 parking fee. Not to mention the long walk from the parking lot to the hotel. The parking was in a seperate building, and at night, I didn't feel safe. You could valet for almost $40. The website also says there is wifi, but what […] they didn't mention is that the wifi is only free in the lobby and coffee shop. You'll have to pay another $11 for wifi - which is stupid. Even a Best Western has free wifi. My office had to mail me a letter at the hotel, and The Sheraton charged me FIVE DOLLARS for a handling fee. I'm not sure what they handled, but it was ridiculous. I would never stay there again, nor do I recommend anyone staying there, unless you'd like to spend money for no reason. Read more
"Convenient downtown location"
This hotel is conveniently located in Atlanta downtown. The centennial Olympic park, World of Coca-cola, Georgia Aquarium, and CNN center is just couple blocks of walk away. The staff in the hotel is very nice and the room is comfy too. Worth every penny I paid.
"Sheraton Atlanta"
Great hotel in Downtown Atlanta but somewhat hard to get in and out of. Rooms were clean with very comfortable beds.
"Parking"
Great hotel. The staff is exceptional and we had no complaints. Beware though, the parking charges are $29 a night to valet and $22 to self park. If you self park and put it on your room, they say your key will let you out. It doesn't. Your best bet is to park across the street in one of the parking garages.

"Sheraton - Downtown Atlanta"
I was disappointed the staff did not contact me prior to my arrival to inform me the hotel was SCHEDULED to have maintenance that would leave the entire building without electricity for a potion of my stay. It was a huge hassle to make alternate arrangements at the last minute; especially since I needed to work remotely during my stay. The situation […] was handled poorly by the managers. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a dependable place to stay. Read more
"Walking distance to Coca Cola and CNN center"
I love this hotel. The only issue i had was i didn't like the carpet. It just seemed like it need to be replaced inside the hallways. The carpet in the rooms are fine. Parking is a little tricky because its $22 per day. Overall the hotel was great.
"Nice place; a couple of hiccups"
Overall, for the price, a good deal for the location. The free internet wifi hotspot in the coffee lounge was a welcome alternative to $12 per day in-room service; and the public spaces, workout room, and pool were all in good shape, clean, and in good condition. But a couple of bad experiences. First, had to get three (yes, THREE) different key cards […] made before one worked in the parking garage. The staff seemed unsurprised we were having problems--so I suspect we are not the first or the last. Second, it's a bad sign when one has a room directly across from the Presidential Suite when said suite has been rented out to the bridesmaids in a HUGE wedding party. The active word here is "party." As in, all night-- as in a parade of giggling and door slamming and muffled "shushing" in the hallway. Read more
"Great Atlanta Stay"
The hotel was far above average in every aspect! Even the manager had a message on your room phone welcoming you to his hotel. Every staff person was helpful & friendly. A great place for a convention & location was perfect. Make sure you ask how your room key pays for garage parking or you have to pay an additional $22.

The room was very nice and clean .The price of the room was too much.because we were on the side of the hotel that was near the red light on ellis street and it felt like the cars and the people on the street was in the room couldn't relax or sleep well from the noise outside. i would'nt recommend any one to this hotel unless they were on the top floor […] .It was my wife and i HONEYMOON WEEKEND AND IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING THANKS.
