Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.
Location.
Situated in Surrey, Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel is in the business district and close to Guilford Town Centre and Red Robinson Show Theatre. Additional regional attractions include Simon Fraser University and Metropolis at Metrotown.
Hotel Features.
Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel has a health club, an outdoor pool, and a spa tub. This 3.5-star hotel features business amenities including a business center, a meeting/conference room, and audio-visual equipment. This business-friendly hotel offers a restaurant and a bar/lounge. "Great Hotel & Experience."
Love coming into Surrey and getting into this hotel. Very close to border and prices of the rooms are reasonable. Ordered room service at midnight and was very satisfied. The views are quite great as well. Perfect hotel for the quick getaway without killing your budget. I enjoy the underground secure parking.
"One thing lacking"
The breakfast in the lobby resteraunt was overpriced. The food was no better than the food u see offered in free breakfasts at most hotels. Would never eat there again. Otherwise, a decent hotel.

"Amazing"
This hotel was incredible. The room faced the mountains, the view was immaculate. The mattress was superb, as good as the one on which I sleep at home. The room was spacious, the shower was clean, the water pressure was powerful and the sofa was comfortable. Loved this place. Convenient location as well.
"Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel"
There are other nice hotels in the area for the same price or cheaper. We paid more and changed to the Westin Wall Centre and it was 10 times better in service and comfort. Over all it just wasn't worth my time or money.

"service can be improved"
The elevator was noot working and every time we need to use elevator it took 10 to 15 minutes to get the elevator, which was very difficult. The staff was not very helpful either.May be understaffed. We had paid good money to have more staff to help guest.

We were there and the elevator was not working. We were on higher floor and every time we need to go down we had to call operator to send the elevator . Most time they were busy so we had to hold the phone for at least 5-7 minutes before we get to speak to someone to send the elevator up and also after talking to someone we still had to wait another […] ten minutes or more for the elevator which was very disappointing. "Nice Hotel"
The Sheraton Vancouver in my opinion was an excellent choice,just as luck would have it. The hotel staff were extremely courteous and attentive to our needs, the room was in good condition and we stayed on the 11th floor with a view of the mountains. My only complaint was that the elevators were broke down from the time we arrived and everyone in the […] hotel had to share one elevator as you had to make a phone call every time you needed to go to the lobby or otherwise.We were promised it would be fixed ASAP, but by the end of our three nights...NOTHING. Other tenants I talked with had been there days before I and had the same issue, I don't know how a hotel of this caliber could not or would not correct this problem immediately. It is my opinion that the management did not care if the elevators got fixed or not,but I would bet money if the Olympics were to begin, all elevators would have been up and running immediately. "Great room for the money"
Surrey is a bit of driving from Downtown Vancouver. As I visit Vancouver about 3-4 times a year, I don't know why I have not thought of staying away from downtown. For one thing, parking is cheap $6/night versus $30/night for most downtown hotels. Also, average rate was cheaper for the quality of rooms that we got for this time of stay.

For the most part very friendly and clean. Read the fine print though when it comes to including breakfast, internet or parking.

There was only one small item that I noticed with regards to cleanliness. The vent in the bathroom ceiling was covered in dust, other than that it was perfect.

Nice clean comfortable room but one of the worst showers EVER! I get that hotel chains are into wrapping their petty cheapness in environmentalism. However, I'm not into standing for 15 minutes in a shower just to get the soap off my body. The restaurant is also disappointing. I won't be back because of the shower. Love the hotel enjoy the service, bell hops where very helpful. The only thing was a downer is that you have to pay 9 dollars a day to park your car.

With the exception of a limited light meal menu the stay at thishotel was excellent. Very clean and a nice staff. Pillows are very soft so if you need a firm pillow perhaps ask for one when you check in.

Had a great 5 day stay , the only thing lacking was a fridge, that would have made it perfect. Close to New Westminister to where I had to go for the 5 days , and would tell anyone that this is a fantastic hotel.....Way to Go!! Traveller from the Island

"Shareton in Guilford...nice location!"
We really enjoyed our Sheraton stay. The rooms were very clean and they didn't stick us in a less superior room because we had our dog along with us. Some noisy families in the hall ...but that's people...not the hotel. The lobby is lovely with helpful staff waiting to be of assistance. The only thing I would not do again is walk to a restaraunt at […] 10:30 at night in that neighbourhood...felt unsafe and sketchy. They really need a snack bar close to or something in the hotel for late night meals. All in all...enjoyable stay. LOVED the no charge for the dog! Read more
