Normally a nice hotel. This trip they were doing renovations and the hotel smelt of mildew. My sheets also smelled of mildew. Terribly disappointed, it was a horrible stay.

It would have a wonderful stay except my room was located over a hydrolysis system that ran all night long. I arrived late and tired. This was not a room for sleeping. The head board of the bed was a conduit for the system's vibrations and noise. I slept backwards in the bed. The bed was comfortable. Service was ok, not 5 star. Not what I expected.

The room temp would not go belw 75. Too hot! Needed extra comforter and took three trips for maids to get it right, no habla ingles!

The Train tracks is right by the Hotel room too much noise Load Horn blowing! Its better if you dont use discount pricing if you want a good room. Trust me. Shariton Hotel and staff were great.

Very disappointing that the Palo Alto Sheraton of all places charges its guest for wifi access. The free wifi in the lobby is fine if you can find a place to sit (small lobby). To not be able to access it at the very pleasant pool area, right next to the lobby, was also very irritating.

We arrived around midnight; seeing us tired, the hotel manager was quickly kind enough to offer a room upgrade to accommodate a rollaway bed and helped us with valet parking the car. We were really impressed!!

I booked 4 rooms with double beds through your site. I took a high school track team to the hotel and they would only give me king size beds. I needed to put four kids in each room. We stayed one night with two children and a small dog and were very pleased with the hotel. The rates were good and the hotel was nice. The poolside restaurant was decent for breakfast and we arrived too late for dinner.

Stayed here for a conference otherwise would have stayed elsewhere. The hotel is perfectly located walking distance to CALTrain Station and downtown Palo Alto but the hotel could use upgrades....rather old fashioned rooms and the walls were very thin (could hear the gym across the way and showers from other rooms), the bar was ok and the staff was helpful. […] Its an ok hotel not great! I would never stay here again! The hotel is old and has paper thin walls, I could here the people in the next room zipping his suitcase. The best thing that could happen to this hotel is if it was torn down and a Marriott put in it's place.

We were in town because my Grandmother was at Stanford hospital. The location of the hotel was perfect for getting to the hospital easily. Vivian at the front desk was wonderful, kind, and extremely welcoming. We were given complimentary water bottles on arrival which we were thankful for after a tiring day of being at the hospital. Because of our situation, […] we had two cars to park. Even though I think charging $10 a night for parking was pretty ridiculous, they were kind enough to charge us for only one car. The room was nice and I felt at home walking in. There is a train that runs right behind the hotel but it didn't really bother me. Room service meal was delicious (try the vegetable Naan wrap). Overall, the hotel was very nice for the price we paid. The room was clean, the staff were friendly. The hotel does appear to be a bit older, so the walls in the room are not as thick as I would have liked. It was easy to hear conversations going on in the hallway in the morning. The best thing about my stay at the Sheraton was the bed. It was quite comfortable and the linens were cosy otherwise I was disappointed. It's been awhile since I've stayed at a Sheraton and I've always thought of them as a reasonably high quality hotel chain but I felt like I was being charged for every amenity. I even had to pay for parking. It's […] the first time I had to pay $10 per day for parking as a hotel guest. I also thought the service could have been more attentive. I went to the gym every day and after the first day, there were no paper cups in the dispenser. Since I really need water after a work out I went to the front desk to let them know. Someone met me at the gym with a plastic cup and then someone turn on the music in the gym. But for the rest of my stay, there were no cups in the dispenser or music. I kept the plastic cup to use for the remainder of my time. Read more
