Toilet had not been cleaned when I arrived. They came and plunged the toilet after it plugged but never came to clean it. The A/C did not work. I transferred to a new room after an very warm night's sleep. The second day/night was ok.

We always book with the Sheraton because they allow dogs. The dogs are comfortable and the king-size bed is great for our family. Really appreciate the courtesy extended each time we come. A friendly, local reliable mid-sized hotel off the Interstate outside of Boston. We have stayed many times to visit family. Hotel is used by large Korean tour company on most days and tour buses roll in late and leave early. Certain rooms can be noisy at times such as when the lady next door died and the police and medical examiner rolled in at 6am. […] Avoid the rooms on the second floor and those near the dumpster service entrance (wind whips around). Nice property with excellent staff. My best friend of 45 years and I stayed at the Sheraton so we could spend time in Salem the weekend prior to Halloween. The staff was incredibly helpful with tips, arranging transportation, making us comfortable and always smiling. The property was great and the staff was fabulous.

I planned a trip for 15 girls and had 4 rooms. The pillows and bedding were clean and comfy although the beds were a bit small. That was fine. The service was great to the rooms. It was EXTREMELY disappointing that the 'hotel pool' is not in the hotel! It's in a building down the street. Even though there is a shuttle available to take you to the pool....who really would take a shuttle to a hotel pool!!

Clean, comfortable stay. We stayed one night in August for a wedding that was taking place at the Willowdale Estate. The staff was not helpful when booking rooms through the saved wedding "blocked" rooms, so I searched through Hotels.com and recieved the same "special cost". Point being - if your using this hotel for a large group of people look elsewhere. […] They may say they are giving you a deal but in all reality they are not. The hotel room was quite small. The bathroom was dirty and the hallway and room smelled musty. The bathroom was old and not upkept. Grout was dirty. Door was cracked. Tiles cracked on floor. Our overall hotel experience was nice. I'm glad we upgraded our room to Club Level which allowed us to have access to the Club Lounge for breakfast & drinks along with WiFi. I loved being able to work out at the Sports Club which was a very nice facility. The shuttle service to downtown Wakefield was very nice and available with short notice. However, […] if you are planning on going to Boston I would recommend staying in Boston. The train does not come often enough and the last bus for the evening is very early. We had to reach the bus station earlier than we would have liked & still had to take a cab from the Wakefield Station to this hotel because it was after hours for their shuttle. The hotel staff was nice but there was one front desk staff that was very hard to understand and was not helpful at all. She gave us wrong information more than once. The double room was very tight for a couple and our luggage.The bathroom was too small for two people to share.The room had a terrible view of the side of the building and the roof below. I stayed for 11 nights and kept trying for a change of rooms and was not accomadated by the front desk or manager. Construction next door caused lots of dust!

Very helpful staff! Easy to get downtown without having to fight traffic! Jacuzzi in nearby athletic club was not working but the hotel had no control over that. The hotel and the staff were outstanding!

The hotel and room were very clean. The bed was comfortale and pristine. A great place to stay in the Boston area. As long as you have a car it is convenient to the north shore as well as the city (right off the highway). Got it for a reasonable price.

With a great location investors should think of razing the aging 60s infrastructure and look ahead. New fixtures and a coat of paint cannot justify the prices nor the star rating. We reserved a room with a king size bed an was given a room with a double bed. The room was non smoking and smelled like cigarettes! I was also sick w broncitis so there was no way i could sleep in the room. We called to complain due to the conditions and they were unable to move us that evening. So they gave us a hepa machine and said this should help […] and asked us if we were smokers! In all fairness the machine helped, because sd had no choice but to stay in this room. We were finally moved into another room the next day and that was a king size bed but it still had a funky odor. On our way out the door we finally got continental breakfast. Also, the pool was a five minute walk outside of the building. This hotel was not worth the money at all. Don't stay. Read more

Walls are thin, could literally hear my neighbors entire conversation with his wife and him trying to console her. The area was okay. Staff was not super excited about working. Some areas of the hotel seem updated, others just blah... Breakfast was good.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful lobby,very nice restaurant and bar. Breakfast buffet was very good. My only complaint is not having internet access in the rooms. It was very inconvenient to have to carry my computer to the wi-fi zone in the lobby to conduct business, check emails, etc.

Ok, so we check in at 9pm on Saturday. Everything was ok. At midnight, the alarm clock in our room went off and woke us up. Then at 2am other guests were yelling at each other in the hallway, a call to the front desk did not stop the comotion for 25 minutes - they probably just got tired and went to bed. At 3:30am the room was boiling hot. Check the […] air conditioner, it was making noise but carpet all around it was soaking wet. Call the front desk, after a while we were given a new room. Slept late. When we tried to show the water pressure was so low that you had to squeeze next to the tile to get some COLD water on us. The shower was less than satisfying. When we came back again at about 9pm on Sunday. The room was not cleaned and the hotel claimed we had checked out. We got a new room and left that morning. What a lousy stay for our 5 year anniversary. Read more
